Ophelia had not powered up in days, mainly because she had decided to keep a low profile whilst she got her civilian life sorted out, which was no easy feat. In truth she was not planning to power up for at least another week, but the night was too inviting and she could not help replying to its call. She was still not used to her darkened fuku, so much so she paused to look at it after the sparkles had cleared. She was a Dark Mirror Senshi now, she did not understand her cause, she did not understand her mission, but this was her new life regardless of motivation. She opened the window and with a quick jump she was out onto the streets, her borrowed home fading from view.
She was not looking for trouble, she just missed the wind in her air and the added boost of power that came with the transformation. She needed a break from all the teenage drama that seemed to be following her, the argument with Raven still fresh in her mind. She felt helpless, like she could not fix anything, and in an attempt to escape she found herself running again. One day her life would catch up with her, but that day was not today and instead she chose to avoid it completely. This was all too much, everything was happening so fast it made her head spin and all she wanted to do was scream. She still did not truly know who she was.
In other words the senshi of beserkers just needed to burn off some stream. Let her hair down and leave her thoughts in the darkened night so she could start tomorrow stronger.
Before long she found herself in the run down part of the city, broken windows, knocked over trash cans, it was not a nice place, but it was quiet. She thought that trouble would not follow her to these parts, she did not want to get into a fight before she had a reason to, so the last thing she wanted to do was bump into a White Moon Senshi. If she did though, she supposed she would have to do her duty, this was a war and sooner or later she would be expected to do her share. What that entailed... she did not know just yet. Jett said that her baptism was her salvation, she needed to convert others, and if they rejected the conversion... well, that was where things got messy.
She finally stopped, finding herself in a district full of abandoned warehouses, it was broken, alone, forgotten. Just like her.

Vanadis was out on another one of her harebrained schemes. Honestly, she'd just been looking to figure out what territory to patrol, but an interesting landmark had gotten her distracted, and then the peculiar looking house down the road from that had gotten her distracted, and so on and so forth until really, she wasn't quite sure where she was. Well, she knew she was in the warehouse district; that much was obvious. But there were no security guards patrolling here, and every warehouse seemed just a tad bit... well, derelict. There really wasn't a nice word for it. It looked like the kind of place no person would ever want to work just for the fear that the roof might collapse on you. It looked shoddy. It also did not look like the kind of place Vanadis had imagined when she wanted to find somewhere to patrol. Okay, seriously, all she had to do was backtrack and get out of there before something happened to fall on her and squish her - no big deal, it probably wouldn't take all that long. After all, she was good at directions. But a few steps back the way she came and the red-head had to stop in surprise. Was that... was that a power signature? It sure felt like it - a power signature that was really, really, disturbingly close. And as experience had taught her, there was a high likelyhood that this was yet another Negaverser looking to kick her a**. Damnit, damnit, damnit. If she hadn't been so intent on hiding herself from the other power signature, she might have let out a quiet 'bugger'; as it was, that was probably categorized as a Bad Idea. She should really get out of here. There weren't even any civilians to protect, so she had no business here. Except... There could be a civilian there. She couldn't actually see the owner of the power signature, and it was possible that whoever it was had brought some poor, innocent person here for, for, for whatever nefarious purpose bad people like them had. Aw bugger, and that meant she couldn't just turn around and leave. Exhaling with a resigned expression, Vanadis set out in a leisurely stroll to get to the power signature. Really it was just ten steps and turning around to the other side of the warehouse. "Um." It was a girl. A really pretty, elegant looking girl who, from the parameters Nysa had given her (dark bodice, babydoll styled dress and a see-through part draped over. Yep, bingo!) seemed very much to be from the Dark Mirror Court. And there were no civilians. Drat.

Mjolnir felt a cold wind blow past her, playing with her see through lay. The moon was quite full tonight, and illuminated the area in a generous fashion. Which was good, since there was no streetlights in the nearby area. This place had truly been forgotten. She loved places like this, even as a civilian she often wandered to find refuge in abandoned places to escape everyday life. Perhaps now more than ever.
As she looked to the glowing orb in the sky she felt a power signature, her face remained void of surprise. She had always been talented in keeping her cool, even when situations where somewhat dangerous. Well, this was rather displeasing, she was hoping to stay away from trouble, but if destiny insisted she make her mark tonight... "It is not very nice to sneak up on someone." She finally said in a monotone voice, not yet looking around to see the senshi that had just come into her company.
After a pause she turned, honey eyes resting on the other. "Are you spying on me? Little dove?" She asked, a small rather cold smile coming onto her pale lips.

"Er, I wasn't actually sneaking." Okay, that was a bit of a lie. "That much." She added lamely, discreetly eyeing her surroundings for an easy way out or, even better, someone to come to her rescue. Neither appeared. She supposed she could just make a run for it, but frankly, getting hit in the back was worse than getting hit in the front where you could at least try to avoid it. So that one was out, too. And what was it with these Chaos people and their silly little pet names? "Okay, first of all, I'm n-not a dove. I'm Vanadis. I'm also not little just so you know, I'm actually pretty tall." Right, as if the other girl couldn't see that. Good going Vanadis, sound like an idiot in your first impression on the enemy! "And I'm not spying on you." She paused, wrinkling her brow in consternation. "Should I be? You don't really seem to be, um, doing anything weird. Or evil. Are you?"

She listened to the girl, she was not sneaking, she was not a dove, she was not short. The only thing she admitted to being was called Vanadis. The white moon were all little doves, too blinded by the purity of their own feathers. "I am Mjolnir. The hammer." She finally stated, she was called the hammer for good reason, it was given to her when she was also a dove, before her feathers turned black.
There was that word again, evil. This girl did not know her and she was being accused of such a thing? Though she should expect it, everyone who did not fit into their ideals was evil, it was the way their minds worked. They could not see that her own court was trying to save them. She remembered Jett's words, she had been saved, she had to believe him. Even if she had nothing else o fight for just yet, she would fit for his own beliefs. She owed him that much.
"I was just minding my own business, but you know, now you have tracked me down I can not let you go unharmed. Unless you have come to join our cause." She stated quite bluntly, turning around to face the other girl. She was ready to fight, and already accepted the situation as inevitable.

"Oh cool, you've got a Norse name too! Vanadis is actually another name for Freja, you know, the goddess? That's pretty awesome, I don't think I've ever met anyone with the same name-theme." She smiled happily, for a second forgetting that they were actually enemies and she should probably be paying attention instead of going off and complimenting the enemy's name. Right, back on track- "Er, why not? I mean, um, if you're not doing anything evil t-then there's really not much reason to fight, is there?" Because that was what they fought about, right? Chaos people doing evil stuff? Vanadis was pretty sure that was it, anyhow, and no-one had told her differently so that was just what she was going to go with.

Mjolnir blinked, if she had to guess, she would say this girl was not the brightest tool in the shed. "That is a simplistic way to look at it, though admittedly sometimes it feels like a game of cat and mouse." Well no wonder the City was in such a state, if neither side had even bothered to find out about the other and what they were fighting for. If the Dark Mirror Court got the word out, maybe more would join them... willingly.
Ares did her a favour, when she forcibly threw her through that mirror. It opened her eyes, it saved her.
"We fight because we want to change the world. Until that happens then there is always reason to fight." She finally stated, nodding her head and getting into stance, she was a very physical senshi. Though this was more about the beliefs of her new court, Ophelia had been angry for days, and so far she had not found an outlet for her anger.
Maybe punching this girls face in would make her feel better.
"If you are not fighting alongside us, then you will get in our way."

Okay, that sounded kind of insulting. "Well, of course it's simplistic, if no-one ever bothers t-telling me why it is!" And then Mjolnir did. Kind of vaguely, but it was a step closer to a tangible reason, Vanadis guessed. Still not anything useful, though. But the girl seemed to be really intent on fighting. OK, so there was no way around this... Vanadis sighed and rolled her shoulders once before sliding into what was supposed to be a fighting stance. Needless to say, it was rather a crap fighting stance - the kind of stance you were taught in quick, inexpensive self-defense classes. Which was precisely where she'd gotten it from. But no-one needed to know that, really.

Mjolnir looked over at the other senshi, and her stance. At the moment she could not say jack all about fighting blind, she did not know why she was fighting either, and had about as many answers as the other girl.
All that they both knew unanimously was they were enemies and they were meant to fight. Jett would want her to, and at the moment that was a good enough reason.
The warehouse was large and empty, the moon providing the only available light. Small puffs of smoke rose from her mouth and the nippy wind pinched her skin. In her opinion it was the perfect place for battle.
Mjolnir came in for the first hit, a clenched fist aiming for the other senshi's stomach.

Mjolnir went for her stomach, and Vanadis automatically tried to dodge - she wasn't fast enough though, and the other senshi's hit got her straight on. With a quiet 'oomph', the red-head folded in on herself. That'd hurt! She'd kinda half been hoping that the brown-haired senshi would just sort of go 'bazinga!' and drop her insistance on fighting. No such luck. Yeah, this was happening. Gathering herself, Vanadis straightened up and curled her fists. She feinted, moving like she was going to punch and then switching to a high kick in the middle of the motion. It wasn't the most professional maneuvre, but she managed to pull it off at least somewhat.
