I was reading over mine today and it reminded me how little I've really changed personality wise since I was a little kid. All I've really done is learn to hide the things that annoy others!
Basically all my ones from primary school say that I'm smart, work well, am polite to adults (AKA people in power), enthusiastic, chatty and imaginative. I am however impatient with people who don't grasp things as quickly as I do (yes yes, I'm one of these people who quickly gets annoyed at stupid people), not as polite to my peer group (AKA my minions) as to adults and have a dominant nature (damn it I don't like being told what to do, I'm CLEARLY more suited for the role than they are so I should be in CHARGE!).
So yes, what do your old school reports say about you? Do you agree? Do you still get school reports? Do your teachers upset you with the inane drivel? Do you realise that all they are doing is preparing you for the day when you will rise up against them and crush them beneath your boots?
Also, I wrote a reference for one of my teachers today. It was weird but fun. She was lovely so it wasn't to hard heart

The thing I can tell glancing over mine is that very few teachers understood me, quite a few tolerated me, and a handful just didn't get me at all. My way of doing things has always been 'seem like I'm meandering and procrastinating often, but provide results in the end'; there are plenty of complaints about this. On the other hand, I also had one teacher who wrote on my report that he was glad to see me doodling in class because he'd caught on that I'm a 'fidgety listener' (and doodling is much better than, say, clicking a pen endlessly), one who acknowledged that I'm a bit of a flake until deadlines pop up, but that's okay, and one who openly suggested I find something else to bring to class to do, because I wouldn't get stuff done in lessons. The flip side, worst of the worst for understanding, was my art teacher. 5 years of bad reports from her. xP
Other than that, they're mostly pretty much all the same- shy, quiet, should participate in class discussions more, but gets the work done well.
Also, it's vaguely related and I want to rant about this briefly. In school I always hated the way teachers would reward people who were usually troublemakers if they paid attention for a day, but would just ignore people who always worked hard. I also found it incredibly frustrating that for all their talk about not letting one or two people disrupt the class, teachers would always spend so much time dealing with them, they never actually taught much. I always think I would've gotten so much more done, and faster, back then if I could've just spent 50% of my classes in the library instead.

It's the same thing every year. Quiet, but smart, sweet and always has the assignments done.

I think all mine were "Brilliant but stubborn, refuses to do the work, but tops the class in tests." I've historically gotten along really well with English teachers whilst being the mortal enemy of Math teachers. My favorite pair of teachers pretty much exempted me from most work 'cause I could easily demonstrate that it was below me. Why bother giving a kid the command to write ten meaningless sentences when he can write a well composed piece of bullshit describing the right to bare, bear and bear arms in the same time?
Most of my teachers really hated my refusal to do work.

I don't think I ever got any reports like that. I got some feedback from my teachers, such as: My English glossary and spelling is terrible, and I should put far more time on that if I want to be able to pass English in year 7-9. My mathematics and physics skills are great. Everything I do in art class is wrong.
In the end, I ended up losing two grades in both mathematics and physics in order to pass English. I also never figured out exactly what I was supposed to do right in art class before the teacher got fired for beating up students.

•○♣☼♣○• Yep kids start to show what they will be like when they get older and it's really fascinating. Mind you lots of people change.
My old reports were always glowing with praise of how kind, helpful, and how I was a pleasure to teach, worked consistently and understood new concepts quickly. Blah, blah, blah.
Frankly I never measured up to my own standard so I've always viewed the reports as sweet but worthless. If I don't get to be the best then it doesn't count and even if I am the best by their standards if I don't think I didn't enough to deserve it or earn it then it's also worthless.
Flawed thinking is flawed, my username isn't just a joke *shrugs*

I always think I would've gotten so much more done, and faster, back then if I could've just spent 50% of my classes in the library instead. I have to admit I was sort of one of those kids... but not. I was the smart girl who got things finished because she understood it all and got it done quickly and then had nothing to do so proceeded to harass/chat to the rest of the people in the room. At least in Primary school. Which is why they hated me so much. Once in secondary teachers started to realise I actually NEEDED harder work otherwise I'd become bored and start bothering everyone around me. But that was the only bit of bad behaviour really. And because I was bright I never got praised for doing well, or even for when I shut up for a bit. Although the more I disliked a teacher the worse I was for doing it... ah the last half of primary 6 and first half of 7 were so awful for my teacher.... 3nodding Miss Perfection •○♣☼♣○• Yep kids start to show what they will be like when they get older and it's really fascinating. I have to admit to being quite bad at that as well. I wasn't doing well enough unless I was top of the class in EVERYTHING. Primary school teachers weren't as keen on me as secondary (due to the above babble to Riri), but my secondary school teachers adored me. It's kinda weird to look back at the reports really... Although I did prefer secondary school anyway. It was a much better learning environment for me. And now I'm at university and I have to FORCE myself to learn. No teachers here to back you up anymore

Oh my gosh overacheivers4evah heart Yeah it was odd looking over them and reading what the teachers said about stuff.
Yup it's a big change in the ways you learn between school and uni. Much more self motivated which is good in some ways but a pain in others
