The sound of what he thought was a fight had King going to the fields. Alas, it was not a fight. Not one with FEAR at any rate. Boils and ghouls kicking a ball around a field while people cheered them all. From what he could tell it looked like they could not use their arms, and you aimed to get the ball into a net. Fighting the urge to just run in, grab the ball and chew on it was.. not that hard but he had a twinge of want. Chasing was still hardwired into him after all.

Sitting on one of the lone benches he watched the game lazily, head tilting when the man in the white and black shirt blew a whistle. That was what usually had two people from the teams getting into verbal yelling matches. Never came to blows however, a minor disappointment in King's mind. Tail flicking with nearly each kick of the balls, the cheers erupted as it finally landed in one of the nets. Now what? Oh- The ball was just kicked back out? The wolfos watched on, confused. They set the ball into the net for the other team? What in Nayru's Name was this?

The black and white one blew his whistle again, and the game seemed to be over? But the question of who won was unanswered. Didn't they have a score- Oh. First half? The game came in parts? He didn't notice the ghoul until she sat down, snacks in hand. "Pardon?" His head tilted to her question. Join the game? Hardly understood the game! "I would like to but, I've never played." Plus he might just grab the ball and chew on it.

Bowing his head at her the wolfos brought his tail around to his lap. "Pleasure to meet you miss Rogers. I am Frost in the Storm. Ah-" Looking at her more closly the ghost smiled. "Were you playing just now? If the game is simple, I might be able to join."

"Frosty?" He leaned back, not quite offended but, "I ah, have a nickname that some call me by. King. I would prefer it over Frosty if it's all the same." Frosty was a bit juvenile for his liking. It sounded like something you'd call a newborn pup. "But please do explain I- oh." His head tilted. "It's... that easy? I thought it would be more difficult. Or have some kind of.. fighting portion. I admit I was a tad sad that the argument earlier didn't come to blows. It would have been very interesting I think."

At the offer to food he shook his head. "Thank you for the offer but no. I ate rather recently. I should be fine. I tend to spend an hour a day running if not more, so it shouldn't bother me too much."

His ear pricked. He was fast and so, that worked for him. Tail falling from his lap, the wolfos stood, reds eyes going to the field. Ears flicked one, twice, and the wolfos nodded. "Yes." Dusting off his pants his grin was slight. "It would be...fun to try this soccer. Can we play in our natural forms or, humanoid? From what I see humanoid is the preferred."

Oh well, maybe they could play in natural forms some other time? Like an alternate version of the game. The motions to stretch as well had him more shaking and doing less than the traditional stretches. He was stretching his legs and his jaw. Which.. probably had no use. Tail was curled around him as she went onto the field, looking to the others.

It took a short while to find where he was needed, a few other 'team' members needing to point him where he had to be, earning a bit of chuckles from the other team. Amy looked excite though and he smiled. A whistle and from King's view, hell broke loose. People were trying to get to the ball, some tripping over others. Kick the ball to the net right? King managed to get close, before the ball was stolen as he tried to send it to another of his team.

He wasn't sure how he felt about that.

Encouraging words, the wolfos was still a bit confused, but hesitation was ebbing away rather rapidly. The ball was back on their ‘side’ as it were, and Amy did a wonderful job taking some fool out. The ball passed to him, the hesitation was gone. Get it into the net. His kick was not trained. It was the kick of a new player, wild and unpredictable. What neither the goalie nore king could have expected was that the wolfos would end up kicking the ball right into the face of the goalie, sending them reeling back, holding their face and cursing.

In the end, they still managed to kick the ball into the goal, but Frost wasn’t sure if he’d just been so good as to hit the person’s face, or if he’d been so bad he’d hit the person’s face. An accident, the goalie didn’t get mad, and the referee didn’t card him. So.. it was alright?

He’d been trying not to aim for it so… King was going to tell himself it was a pure accident. Giving Amy a thumbs up, the ghost followed the ball’s path, taking a moment to run over to the reaper. “Sorry I missed the shot!”

He actually hoped they would be alright and hold it against him really. He hadn’t meant to hit their face. It was just a bit in the way was all. “Well, if it helps us win…” His voice trailed off, wondering if goalie face to ball kicking was accepted practice. Logic told him know, but lack of experience told him yes, as no one yelled at him in anger at least.

As the ball was kicked over to him there was a bit of fumbling for a second as he got a handle on it. Running while kicking was something he needed practice with but he was managing. When he got close enough, he made a mock kick to his left, alternating the last second to the right. A trick to alternate a stance in battle to mislead your enemy. Only this was a battle with less blood, more a ball crashing harmlessly into a net and a lot of cheering. Frost just looked at Amy. “Did I do that right then?”
