She watched her current 'mark' with a bored expression. One of several she'd been sent out to check up on. Make sure they weren't doing anything unsavory. Like eating witches hearts. But this one, from what her notes had said, was not one she needed to worry about. He may have had a bit of a temper at times, but nothing drastic. Nothing worth...removing him because of. The mere thought tended to leave a nasty taste in her mouth.
Shifting her weight, Nori crossed her arms and continued to lean against the wall to one of the outer buildings of the town. The man she watched was not very wealthy and lived in a single bedroom hut style house. And this wasn't the first time she'd been here. No, this was just a routine check up that had been increased after recent...events.
Nori scowled. ******** Blackhearts! Always mucking about and making lives miserable. And they were nothing but a bunch of sly untrustworthy bastards.
"This....sucks..." She muttered, pulling out a small notebook to write a scrawl a few quick notes before slipping it away.

There he was, her current mark, rumbling around town like the c**k of the walk. The bee's knees. The elephants...what? Screw idioms and metaphors. He looked so vanilla, it hurt. Ruria had already decided upon seeing him that he would more than likely be a "neutral evil", one she would decide not to kill. It'd serve her punishment back at Poena Privus for sure, but the balanced nicely there with the amount of more villainous witch eaters she brought in, as opposed to the more meager 'escapees'.
A faint glimmer of silver caught her eye as she loomed in the shadows, and a sudden disinterest in the Witch Eater overcame her as Ruria became preoccupied with the Cerberus Knight. She hadn't met very many, and well, she was rather curious. She quietly crept towards the woman, leaning casually but stealthily over her shoulder to see what she was writing, watching with interest until the woman began complaining.
"What sucks?" she curled her lips into a coy smile, inches from the other woman's face, where she had been so quietly lurking and nosing about. She leapt out of harm's way before the lady could assail her, purposely or accidentally, balancing against guillotine, which she held behind her like a toy. "Are you watching that one, too?" she motioned towards the oblivious Witch Eater, who had decidedly entered into some cafe. "He's really boring, I don't think I'll kill him after all. He doesn't seem like he has much use for anything, really. Boring and a waste of time." ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰

Something in the air shifted. Became heavier. The Cerb was aware that someone was close to her. She calmly slid her notebook into her pocket, fist curling out of sight. When the individual spoke, Nori whipped around to land a hit....against the wall. She cursed, thankful her hands were somewhat protected. Then scowled at the woman that had spoken. Which deepened when she got a good look at her.
"My night." Nori said dryly, gesturing absently towards the person she'd been watching. "Though perhaps it might be improving...Blackheart."
Pushing away from the wall, she sized up the Blackheart female. "Huh. And here, I was beginning to think your Organization was only full of pricks that think with their dicks." She sighed. "Clearly, I was wrong." Her gaze shifted towards the witch eater and she shrugged. "I was told to check up on him. Nothing more. No killing of innocents." The last was added with a slight bite to the words.
Her hand idly reached behind her, fingers curling around her weapon. "Right you are there, princess. You ain't killing anyone tonight. And allow me to spice things up then, since he's so boring~" Nori gave a devilish grin and spun, releasing her weapon.

Ruria cocked her head to one side. "Prickles..." she mouthed the word as if it was a new taste. "Oh, I don't have male genitalia, though I'm somewhat curious about it." She tilted her head again at the knight's words. She was quite abrasive for a knight, though she assumed that part of it (hopefully) was simply bad blood from the recent event. Ruria raised a brow as the woman sized her up and unsheathed her weapon.
"That's strange," she murmured, watching her movements. "You intend to seek violence with one such as I? But then, if you seek to be judged by an executioner of justice, then I must oblige. Still, don't you find it a little dangerous to engaged a blackheart? We are, after all, savage over-achievers for the greater good, huuhuu. But if you insist...by all means..." She curtsied, smiling kindly towards her.

For a brief moment, Nori just stared at the girl, not sure if she'd heard her right. Then she shook her head and a bark of laughter escaped. "You're young, aren't you?" A chuckle as the knight turned to fully face the young woman. Go figure. She just had to run into a Blackheart while on duty! Bah, whatever. The young woman wouldn't be defeated by a few scrapes and bruises. She was a Blackheart after all.
And she was not a huge fan of their ways. But they were fun to butt heads against every once in a while.
The knight grinned. "Better bet your pretty face, princess, that I most certainly do intend to seek violence." Nori just waved a hand. "Don't flatter yourself. That's just the nice way of describing yourselves." Executioner of justice? What the hell were they feeding their little proteges! "Excellent...." Her blue steely gray eye lit up and the knight whipped her hand in a cutting motion through the air, sending a blast of icy wind towards her opponent. "Play with me for a bit, princess!"

"I am not a princess," ruria said calmly, gracefully moving aside to avoid the woman's prompt attack. "Why do you insist on such frivolity? You impede my work!" She didn't comprehend her anger or eagerness to fight and get her hands dirty when there was no reason to, but Ruria was definitely not going to ignore a challenge, especially from the 'pampered knights', as Sibelius called them.
"What I lack in age, I make up for in violence, if I must. But age seems like something you aren't lacking!" she purred, her twintails whirling around as she moved her arm in a circular motion, sending a bit of her own magic back at Nori. Shadowy brambles emerged from the ground, creeping towards the knight with fervent need, erecting with violent speed as they approached in an attempt to stab up at her, rather than entrap her.

"You sure about that, cupcake?" Nori replied airily, obviously not at all sorry for the nickname or getting in the way of this Blackheart's work. "Sorry. But I will not allow you to cause any during my watch." She added, features hardening slightly. No. She would not let a witch eater come to harm while under her watch! Her hand curled tightly around her blade, gaze narrowing slightly to watch the other woman closely.
The knight gave a wolfish grin. "Got that right! And my age brings more experience in battle. Unlike you, who only knows how to shed blood." There were brambles coming towards her, dark and shadowy. Nori danced to the side and away from the oncoming brambles, kicking out in a half spin motion to send a wall of air at them. Then she continued the spin to send her weapon spinning towards the Blackheart, a soft whistle emitting as it sped through the air.
