this log includes karis (graceangel), chiyuki and kazuhiko (PGM), and Azazel (Shiberry) ((though Az only comes in later on))
karis: *w* i love you my amazing mr chiyuki .. i miss you all the time :O
Yuki: ... -stares at Karis with an icy look- ... I see that your attentions have turned elsewhere... Karis.
karis: -panics and cries and clutches to his ankles- nonononononooooooo
Yuki: -sneers- What are you doing, you pathetic female? Let go of me. Kazuhiko: -somewhat stunned at the coldness of his brother-
karis: but i didn't do anything bad... you are the one who's always leaving me. knowing that i get lost all the time... and don't come to find me for months and months at a time. :<
Yuki: -smirks- Is that right? I understand now. -chuckles darkly- Enjoy your new... male friend. Kazuhiko: Yo, Yuki. You're being obnoxious. Apologize to her.
karis: -fuming but not going anywhere, tears in her eyes but steam coming out of her ears, then repeats him mockingly- 'oh is that right' "if you haven't even known or can't even tell still that you have meant more to me than anyone my whole life... then you are just dumber than a pile of rocks, yuki. I find this really deplorable.. you can really just stand here and treat me like this?"
Yuki: -icy smile- Yes. I can. I am. Did you think I truly cared for you? Wake up, little one. I am no longer your "caretaker." Kazuhiko: -can't stand it anymore and tries to reason with his stupid brother- Brother, just admit that you're scared of losing her. Say it. Or *I'LL* take her from you! Yuki: Be quiet, Kazuhiko. This matter is no business of yours!
karis: -almost in a stupor of rage, hurt, and disbelief- "oh. so ... YOU can do off for however long.and i never ask you what you're off doing... but you come back and somehow find out i only went for a walk with someone... and... you're going to be like this?" -slowly turns around to hide her face while she tries to find her way through this-
Kazuhiko: -hisses angrily at his brother and ends up curling protectively around Karis without thinking/realizing- Chiyuki! You're as cold as the snow you so love! I have no idea what's wrong with your head! No wonder you're always so damn LONELY! Yuki: -snarls and claws at Kazu so fast Kazu has a thin stream of blood drip from his cheek- Fool! If you so much as contort yourself with this female you're disowned as a family member! I. AM. THE. HEAD!!!
karis: -who at first had just slid her eyes to peek at kazu out of their corners, then suddenly, her eyes widen and fill with fear and horror at seeing the swipe and the blood; she looks at kazu sadly- "I'm sorry he did that to you because of me. I'll leave. I don't want him to hurt you. Though I can't imagine why someone who says he doesn't care about me at all would commit such acts of hatred like this."
Kazu: -snarls at Karis- Don't you dare act like that, idiot! It's because you act like that he PLAYED you! -curls around her more tightly- I'd be a damned fool to let you run from the likes of his trash! Kazu: -feral grin- Besides, I need to stretch my muscles... I've been wanting to beat this frost-bitten sleazeball for a while now! Yuki: -bares his fangs- Bring it on, little brother. If you so dare.
karis: -looked sideways at him again- "Well, I don't like fighting. It's not my personality to be mean and hostile." -she thinks some more- "How do you even know I was just taking a damn walk with someone.. if you haven't even been around.. unless... which .. makes no sense." -watches Kazu being so brawlish and she starts to feel at a loss of what to do. for a moment she had thought about grabbing his hand and running off with him somewhere further away. and she mulled over the phrase 'don't contort with that female'. was he mad? or jealous?
Kazu: He's a damn stalker, that's what. He's always following you! But my entire family--we "stalk." We're hunters. It's in our bones. He watches you. All the time. He might disappear for what seems like a long time... but he definitely watches you. He protects you... he won't admit it! He's just being a damn idiot and won't admit HE LOVES YOU! Yuki: BE QUIET KAZUHIKO! -swipes at him again-
karis: -sits quietly watching what's going on and trying to think through all of this and then plops to the ground where she just rubs her face and tries to calm her mind disliking these violent emotions which are entirely new to her- "wait... so... are you saying... that.. he's just jealous? and.. that he's always around? but that doesn't make ANY sense! ok.. because you don't be mean to people you care about." the rest of the concept of being watched for sake of being watched.... going over her head a little bit.. though her mind's perceiving it for the first time. "this is SO CONFUSING...." -buries her face into the ground-
Yuki & Kazu: -currently dueling it out although Kazu is coming out worse for the wear while Yuki... looks as clean and pristine as always-
karis: -lays there exceptionally dejected and tears streaming down her face, watching them unable to figure any of this out-

Azâzêl — It was curiosity that compelled the pale Moto'undil to investigate the growls and snarls which echoed through the forest. Some other Ulayas getting into a scrap, hm? He quietly meandered his way through the shadows of the trees, eventually reaching a small clearing. Within, he saw two male Ulaya in the midst of a brawl, while a female lay coiled up on the ground, face buried in her paws. She whined while the two fought, but her words did not interest him much, until he noticed that she looked familiar... "Karis?"
karis: -hearing hear name, her ear tufts twitched and she looked up and over; there he was, the boy from before; upon seeing him, she jumped up and ran over to him- "oh... i'm so glad you came here... did you come to help?" -probably looks all kinds of terrible-
Kazuhiko -- Bloodied and bruised, he finally collapses to the ground, though he stares up at his elder brother with defiant, angry eyes. The golden brown leopard took no notice of the newcomer, so focused was he on Chiyuki. His mind simply wanted to destroy this opposing white leopard; to protect the innocence of the female who called herself Karis. He did not pay any heed to much else; such was a part of his downfall.
Chiyuki -- Only slight bruises colored across his otherwise crisp and still snowy coat. His golden eyes glittered triumphantly as he smirked down upon Kazuhiko. It was at that point he saw that same male Karis "walked" with earlier, and in his fit of denied jealous rage, sought to unattach himself from such an undesireable situation. He refused to acknowledge that he even remotely had feelings for Karis; the sight of the male, however, only insighted his anger further.
Azâzêl — He looked down at the familiar girl, examining her momentarily. She looked awful, as though this entire fiasco had taken its toll on her without her even getting involved in any sort of physical brawl. He then shifted his gaze over to the two males. The fight had finally concluded —at least, for the moment— with the white, leopard-spotted male standing over the smaller, golden-brown leopard. They both had sustained a fair amount of injury. He flicked his tail, his internal wickedness making a brief manifestation in the depths of his eyes before turned back to Karis, now looking more concerned than malicious. "I'm here now." He sauntered over between Karis and the two males, eyes meeting the golden orbs of the snow leopard male. "What's going on here?"
Karis:-looking up at him and trying to find the words to tell him what was going on, and attempting to speak started to cry; and buried her face in her paws, her ears sagging down; and then telling Az in a hushed voice- "everything has gotten really strange all of a sudden. yuki's being really mean to me."
Chiyuki -- "None of your business. Leave." Flicking his tail, possibly the only sign of his agitation, he remained emotionless. His earlier victory having passed over him quickly, he tensed, readying for another fight. He sensed, however, that in his sudden turnabout, he would probably lose the one creature who could teach him what love really was.
Kazuhiko -- Breathing heavily, he stared at the new male that had entered the fray. Unable to comprehend due to the blood loss he was slowly losing, his silver gaze flicked over to the one female they all seemed to know. He assessed her; other than looking emotionally distraught, she seemed physically unharmed. Relieved, he relaxed--slightly.
Azâzêl — He smirked, tail lashing, eyes boring into those of the other male's, searching. "Leave?" he began, "and leave dear Karis here distraught and in peril?" His claws lightly scored the ground before him. "Are you Yuki, the one being 'really mean' to her?" He slowly advanced toward the male, his stride relaxed, predatory. He then gently curved around the snow leopard, making his way to the other male, bleeding on the ground. He stood over him, listening to his labored breathing, examining his listless form. Looking back at Chiyuki, he chuckled, "You want me to leave Karis in this deplorable situation?"
Karis- taking advantage of Az's intervention. She quickly just tries to go closer to Kazuhiko to see his condition closer. Looking, she grimaces and begins to cry some more. She looked him over more and tried to think of what she could do to help his wounds before it got really bad. She then crept off to the side to pick up some herbs that might help
Kazuhiko -- Hardly able to understand the conversation, his gaze slowly blurring, Kazuhiko looked up towards new male once more. Hating that he was so weak, he struggled to stand. He couldn't leave Karis by herself. What if this male was a thread? Maybe he was an ally of Yuki's; that wasn't good. Although, he didn't remember that Yuki made "friends," let alone "allies," with males. Yuki did not get alone well with males. At all. He saw Karis leaving and began to worry. Perhaps, though, given the situation, it was better that she did.
Chiyuki -- He snaps. He couldn't stand it any longer. This male was an obvious threat; Yuki himself didn't realize it was his own fault that he might lose Karis. However, he had too much pride to admit that. However, he didn't like how close and intimate to Karis this ulaya sounded. He was even angrier that the male sounded exactly like him when he was working his charm on Karis! "...I am Yuki. I hardly think I am "being really mean" to her; I simply stated my position." He tensed as the male slowly but confidently strode around him; he did not like this situation at all. He knew he needed to escape and disappear before things got messier, but he couldn't bring himself to leave, either.

Azâzêl — Chiyuki's words sounded calm and composed, but the tense muscles and slight hesitation before answering betrayed him. Azâzêl felt this male's rage stirring beneath that thin, placid façade, rage he was determined to force out. He watched Karis as she retreated, most likely to help this other male. He looked down at him as he tried to stand, placing a paw on him and forcing him back down to the ground. "Do not move; you need to conserve your strength till Karis gets back to help you." He then turned back towards Chiyuki. "This is not mean? Brutally fighting and making her cry are not mean?"
Karis in the meanwhile had returned. She had taken a while since she was carrying stalks of weeds in her maw and large leaves serving as cups for waters that she carefully brought back. She put herself behind Azazel feeling that might be the best place to sit unseen by Yuki. Of course, being a silly idea not giving heed to the fact that he could probably hear or smell her anyways. She sat down and started to wash some of the cuts and put the various stuff on Kazu. She was rather inexperienced with this, and she was mimicing what she had seen some mothers do in the forest. She wasn't even sure she was doing any of it right. She just did her best. Though she continued to weep; feeling completely guilty for Kazu's wounds. They were her fault she told herself. He shouldn't have came with her. Yuki's wrath would have been terrible had he been there or not.
Kazuhiko -- Forced back to the ground, his instincts kicked in. He growled angrily at the other male, before he realized that the ulaya was simply trying to help him. Strange as that was, and hearing that Karis was perfectly fine, he completely relaxed and concentrated on staying awake. If he lost consciousness now, he'd appear weak and his brother would only laugh at him later. He couldn't have that. He knew he wouldn't be able to win against his brother, but to be beaten this badly was upsetting. He was not weak--he wasn't! And yet, here he was, on the ground, slowly bleeding away his life force; that is until he felt gentle paws. Blearily, he saw that Karis was tending to his wounds. He tried to smile at her, and then completely passed out.
Chiyuki -- "My brother learned his lesson. As for brutality, sometimes it's necessary." He would not give in to his emotions. Emotions led to painful things; Yuki hated pain--of all kinds. He ignored what was happening behind the ulaya who challenged him now. Forcing himself to slowly relax, Yuki finally managed to make himself appear at ease. He was a god; gods did not care for such mortal things as love and hatred. They could be angry, but they had to be calm. He was a god. He did not need all of these trivial matters; yet, he was stuck with them. "Who are you to act and demand about as you please?"
Azâzêl — He flashes a toothy grin, a malice burning in the depths of his deep red eyes. He watched as the other forced the tension from his bones, tension which Azâzêl knew was not gone, but smothered underneath a need to remain calm and seem strong when in the presence of a new, threatening force who would knock him off his high throne. He began stalking towards Chiyuki, looking down at the smaller Ulaya. "My name is Azâzêl, and I am he who will teach you the true meaning of brutality." His voice was cold, even, tail now swaying slowly behind him. "And just who do you think you are?"
Chiyuki -- Though the other male was bigger, Chiyuki did not back down. "I think not. You shall find that I am the one to teach lessons--not learn them!" He allowed himself to return to being tense. He flicked his tail in eagerness. He had plenty of emotional energy to stave off, and such a potential situation was opening itself to him. In his mind, however, Yuki acknowledged that this Azazel would probably throw his butt down the river and back again... and that Azazel had a similar personality to him. Perhaps, then, that was why they clashed; he and this Azazel. Opposites attract; but of course, the same repelled. He bore his fangs in a returned gesture of challenge.
Karis sat down sadly. She just ran her paw along Kazu's arm. She took his front paw onto her feet and petted it gently, offering what meager support she could. Hearing her new friend tell Yuki that he'd teach him the true meaning of brutality. She tensed up herself. Her eyes widened. Sure, she was greviously upset over the way her beloved Chiyuki was behaving towards her; what seemed out of the blue as well even if it wasn't really entirely. Still, she was feeling all sorts of palpitations of her heart in fear of his getting hurt. She turned her head a bit to look at them. If only it was at all worth it to step in and help. Still, it'd be no use at all. If he really didn't care enough for her at all.. well.. why should she help. She had to turn her head back to Kazu. She couldn't bear to see this.
Kazuhiko -- He woke up slowly to the feeling of gentle warmth and comfort. Unsure of what happened, the sight of Karis's pained face made him want to cry. Instead, however, he gently wrapped his tail around one of the female's paws, hoping it would comfort her. He could not do much else; he only hoped that she would soon smile again. Kazuhiko hated that he had such a soft spot for innocents, but they didn't deserve to be manipulated or treated as cruelly as she had been. "Are you ok?" his voice was raspy; he felt thirsty. At least, however, it seemed he wasn't bleeding as heavily as before.
Azâzêl's jaw dropped, elongated canines now even more prominent than they were merely sticking out of his mouth. His tail slowed to a gentle, methodical sway, enormous claws pulled up so they hovered above the ground. He lowered his chin as the other male's muscles began to tense once more, as if either expecting Azâzêl to strike or to prepare his own offense. The Moto'undil chuckled darkly. "You do not want to do this..."
Chiyuki -- "We agree at that; I certainly do NOT want to do this." He backed away finally, more to find room to move rather than to run. However, Chiyuki had a feeling that he had been run while he still lived; he had nearly killed his only brother, after all, and perhaps he needed some alone time to properly think. He was beginning to feel some doubt to his unexplained rage; how this male acted and treated Karis was none of his concern. Yet, here he was, angry and unable to explain what had exploited such a passionate emotion from him in the first place.
Karis looked at Kazu's eyes. She could only sigh in reply to his question. Was she ok? Not in the least. In parts of her mind, she was remembering the winter she met Chiyuki. She was remembering the times they skated on frozen lakes and went on walks late at night. She was having such a hard reconciling that yuki with the one in front of her. The one acting completely benign. She then took a deep breath, her courage and turned around to try a chance for his sake. "Yuki... please..." She paused to prevent herself from crying more and making herself uncomprehendible. "Just apologize! say you didn't mean what you said... what about all that time you lived with me... and our time together... did it really mean nothing? You know.. I really did only just take a walk with this guy. I mean.. I don't even know his name.. really..."
A look of satisfaction began to appear across his visage as Chiyuki made his retreat. The male did not run, however, which piqued Azâzel's curiosity. Now it was his turn to take a threatening position, and he lowered his head, sauntering toward the male like a tiger stalked its prey. His sinister smirk remained plastered on his maw, and he circled back around Chiyuki, cutting off the male's escape. He waited till Karis finished speaking, then licked his lips. "Yes, Yuki. Did all that time you spent with dear Karis mean nothing to you?" He pried in a in a low, dark voice which only reached Chiyuki's ears. His gaze briefly flicked to Karis before he continued. "She is a lovely female, I must admit, and I hate to say that we did only walk together... so, why does this bother you so much, aggravate you to the point that you assault another and make this poor girl cry?"

Chiyuki -- He growled a warning for the male getting too close. This situation as getting stickier by the minute. He did not intend for his dark side to appear; he had held it carefully in check for many seasons. He got far too out of control when he lost it. Kazuhiko had barely seen a hint of it; in some ways, that made him sad. It was why he acted so cheekily and arrogant most of the time; a barrier to the darkness of his soul. "A lovely female she may be... but you aren't getting anything from me. I won't tell you a single thing." Because I don't know. Chiyuki's eyes flickered back and forth as he tried to find an escape route. A tree was his best bet; he was fast, and the male before him too big and probably too heavy to climb. He slowly moved, knowing his escape route on the ground was cut off; but the air was not. He had to find the nearest place to pounce and take off and leave everything behind. He ignored Karis, not really caring that she didn't understand. He was too focused on survival.
Kazuhiko -- He grimaced as Karis looked at him with pained eyes. Her pleas for aplogies and appeasement from the sudden about-face of his brother was so much of a shock to her, Kazuhiko could only think to take her away. He was sensing a strong amount of darkness exuding from the male--rather, his instincts were telling him to run right now or forever he was doomed. He couldn't shake this strange foreboding feeling. He also knew that if he and Karis stuck around for much longer, Karis would be subjected to something she wouldn't be able to handle. He needed to get her out of here--now.
Poor Karis. The purple female's blue gemmed eyes flickered around the field. She watched her new friend circle with Yuki. She was desperately afraid for Yuki. She didn't wanna see him hurt. He brought this on himself! She felt so conflicted. Her friend just came to help. He didn't know her well enough to know she'd wanna help Yuki. Surely. She just stood there trying to think of something to say or do. Nibbling gently on one paw's end, she looked back at Kazu. Ugh! If she stepped in to do anything, she couldn't tend to him either. She felt like she needed to do that. Seeing him trying to get up and move, she ran back to him. "what are you doing? Don't get up! You're hurt. You really shouldn't move till the wounds close up a little more." She fretted there. She started to move from foot to foot. She was overcome with anxiety. She then had a slightly jaded thought. One rather dark for her own mentality. She wondered if it wouldn't have been better to at least have done something that deserved or warranted all this.
Azâzêl laughed. "You are bothered, Chiyuki, but bothered by what? Is it the fact that Karis can, in fact, easily replace you, that you are not as prominent a figure in her life as you like to believe? That she will happily walk with strangers in the dark rather than try to return to your keep?" His tail lashed, amused. "This is not the first time you have laid eyes on me, and this not the first time that I have caught your presence lurking about. You do not think that you could have escaped unnoticed while she and I walked, did you? Even you, with your quiet footfalls cannot slip under every radar. You do not care to cover the scent which betrays you. But, what interests me is that even though Karis and I walked together, you made no move to emerge from the shadows and make your presence known. Do you enjoy merely watching from your hiding places, or are you too afraid to show them who you really are?" His voice quieted to a whisper. "Your fear is your weakness, and your weakness is what will lead to your downfall. Even now you try to run and hide, like a frightened kit. Why be frightened of yourself and your lack of control, hm? Do not continue playing everyone for a fool."
Kazuhiko -- "Don't be stupid." He grunted as he finally stood, albeit shakily. "We have to get out of here. My brother can take care of himself just fine. I'm more worried about you than me right now." He watched her hop around in panic for a little bit and then rolled his silvery eyes as he tried to gently persuade her to leave. "C'mon. You can't stay here and watch what's about to happen. You won't like it; you know it, I know it. So let's go, yeah?" He didn't really know how to be gentle, though. Kazuhiko was truly a nice ulaya, but he was so used to acting tough that he sometimes gave off a scary firt impression. Although it didn't seem to stop anyone from approaching him; most of the time they were all females curious about his elder brother. He hated that, but for now, he would at least rescue one female that finally understood Yuki's true nature.
Chiyuki -- Who was the male to read into his mind? Chiyuki knew fear; his personal fear now held him frozen, although he could only stare at Azazel in silence. The words lacing themselves into his mind made his claws come out. He wanted to strike, but he knew if he did, it would be the end. He would be exposed. He couldn't have that. No matter what this Azazel said, he wouldn't give in. Only his family knew his true personality and he wanted to keep it that way. No one outside of his family should know the true Yuki; he wandered by his lonesome for others' protection. He believed so, anyway, deep in the far reaches of his mind. His golden eyes finally narrowed as he hissed. "You're a tormentor, aren't you? How did Karis become acquainted with your kind? I cannot see how one such as you find joy in innocence such as her." He was hoping if he directed the conversation flow, it wouldn't be the "death" of him.
Karis's eyes half lidded as she listened and looked at Kazu. She didn't like the idea of abandoning her love. Even if he had been cruel and heartbreaking, her goodness still wanted to do right by him. Watching more, she could tell that he wasn't really paying attention to her anymore anyways. She then walked up closer to Kazuhiko and put an arm around him to try and help him stand up straight. Well, this is what she could do. She could at least help someone who tried to help her. he had only stuck up for her. She felt like everything was a big mess. She started to go with him,but she paused before fading into the trees around them. She wished she could hug him one more time. or kiss his cheek. She felt like if she took a step farther away leaving him like this. A part of her was dying. She had never known a pain like this. Not ever.
"A tormentor, hardly. I am merely the harbinger truth... and the truth is you know I am right, and you know that you cannot hide your nature forever. You can bury it, run from it, hide from it, but you can never eliminate it, so why do you pretend that it is not there?" He looked at Kazuhiko and Karis as the two began moving away from the area. "See? They already run from you... Karis may not fully understand you, but I can guarantee you there is a nagging feeling, a shadow lurking in the back of her mind which tells her to run from you." He smirked. "As far as joy goes, my joy comes from her running from you."
