Alright folks i feel like posting and i feel like hearing some opinions.

Whats the WORST absolutly most horrible thing an author or director can do to a movie or book that you feel ruins the plot, sub-plot or overall flow of the story. Or what you think just ruins a book in general.

Personally i am a huge fan of the Game of throne series but one thing that almost bothers me is the fact he goes out of his way it seems to make the good guys win. I understand a good book has to have drama so there is no way the good guys can always win, that would be just as bad. But my pet peeve is when it seems like its not even for progression but just for the fact of doing it.

Okay my second one....and the SOLE reason i will never be able to read any hunger games books. I absolutly disdain First person, can't do it, can't even read the first 20 pages. I tried did my best

Well, i would rather first read a book and know the story then watch the movie, plus i have to say that the movie and the book are never the same story, even though i think you have a good reason to don't like the hunger games, i have to say that is an amazing story, but like i said before the movie just didn't show how great the book was, and i can't give you an comment about Game of throne since i haven't read them.

I love the dresden files books but they're in first person. I like it just fine but I understand it's not for everybody.

First person can be done well - but it's not for everyone.
The worst type of plot would be the type that panders to the mainstream, teen girl looking-for-love type, if only because it's usually cliched and not even slightly realistic. I'm talking Twilight, The Hunger Games... [the list goes on]

I mean, really. If you're looking for some author-avatar, mediocre love story, then just go find a reverse harem anime/manga. At least the art will be acceptable.

Like, I'm that type of girl. We should totally hang out, or something. >.>

Lol i'm glad someone out there agree's with me i was starting to think i was one of the only ones.
No i know first person can be done well but i just find it lazy, its always going to be easier using it over third person but that again is my opinion. You can still pack plenty of emotion and understanding in third person without reverting to that

Just to get my two cents in...

I hate twilight and hunger games, both the movies and the books.

I DO however, enjoy LOTR and the movies, I was just disappointed in how the director portrayed the elves (namely Legolas).

To give an example:

the Mine of Moria scene with the Balrog.

Legolas ******** WAILS in fear in the book. The movie? Stands there passively and is like "Oh, it's a balrog. we're ********.". NO. JUST NO. D< Not acceptable, dammit.

Also, I used to be a potterhead back in the day, but I began hating the series when the fifth book came out. I got SOOOO damn tired of the movies, they failed. Epically. Anyone who disagrees with me, that's cool, it's your opinion, but don't argue this case with me.

Another book-to-movie I can think of is Aragon. I only read one of the books and I wasn't impressed with it, OR the movie.

The WORST cliche I can think of for a movie is all the unlikely romances they throw out or rush them. Especially in action movies.

I didn't pay money for a movie to see an awkward girl suddenly fall in love in the middle of blood-and-guts. DO NOT WANT.

However, I can name a few movies that ARE action type, WITH LEGIT romances.

Clint Eastwood's "Outlaw Josey Wales" (The romance wasn't over done and wasn't graphic at all, it was really sweet.)
The Expendibles (Even though it wasn't 'really' romance, the chemistry between the two were very well played.)
The A-Team. (Because Face is just that adorable--though that's not the point. Point is, Even in the midst of the blowing-s**t-to-pieces, she still comes through for him in the end.)
The newest "Predator" movie. I liked how the two had a chemistry from the start, but only at the end of the fighting when he saves her, do they really get "close".

Sasuke no Katon
...
I have not read aragon series, heard too many bad reviews to read it. I can understand what you mean with the whole legolas thing in Lord of the rings. I wasn't a fan of his acting in general in those movies but i did like the rest of the movies and i adored the books XD
