Kokutan hiked through the woods he was in, grumbling and hissing words through his teeth as he walked. He hated this. Being in his human form. Risking facing extreme danger just to talk to a few friends. Hiking through the woods. But most of all, he hated his boots. All they did was absorb water as he marched around, walking through mud puddles and the alike. He'd go and turn into his panther form to avoid the whole mess; but the last time he ran around like that somebody tried to shoot him! Plus, he didn't like feeling the icky dirt and mud on his toes. He just didn't. One of his many quirks. Hating mud on his feet.
He grumbled some more. Then he stopped walking all of a sudden, and he spun his head around. Yup, she wasn't there. As usual, she probabley got distracted by a butterfly of all things. "Cali hurry up. This was YOUR idea." He stood like that until she came clumsly running after Kokutan.
"Sorry, Pongo fell off my shoulder again." She half-laughed while innocently holding a mud covered Ferret. Kokutan sighed before he turned and continued walking.
(Wow. That was a lot of writing. Anyways, sorry if I did something wrong and posted this when it shouldn't exist or something.)

*Soon enough from the woods underbrush there was a opening ahead with a large thriving city. Far on the west side was a view of a large castle of the land. Here there were many human and yokai types of all shapes and sizes walking around and sellingthings, even building a few houses and keeping buisy. The kids on both sides were playing happily as a group. This was the city known as HAZE CITY.*

Before Kokutan marched out into the streets, he looked around to ensure nobody who posed as a threat was nearby. Once he felt the area was safe he dragged Cali by her the back of her shirt out onto the open road.
"Yes! No more muck!" She cheered, lifting her hands high into the sky. Pongo slid down her arm and landed on her shoulder, his face coated in mud.
Kokutan stretched his own arms and then glanced at Pongo."Before you go knocking down everyone's doors, you should probabley go clean your rodent." He said. Then he looked at Cali's hair, it had grown passed her shoulders from the lack of being able to cut it. But that wasn't what caught his attention. No, what caused him to take a second look and try and hide a laugh was there was leafs and sticks poking out of it.
He then consider what he himself look like. "Alright, let's find an inn of some sort. You probabley want to have a shower after all that walking right?" He then rubbed his head to try and pull out whatever had found its way into his hair.

((Just so you know it's like eight years since the last academy, ritrobution academy. so this is a while later if you didn't know. Also if you have skype add me, i'm YUJI JR ))
There was a rather large Inn in the center of main street, just before continuing towords the castle. Surly enough this Inn was spechal and tyed to the old king who had just passed away. ((Sort of)) that list had many names on it from the acdemys in which yuji told them to look out for. It had rooms payed for in advantce and whatnot. As Cali would have entered and give her name, the lady at the check out desk reconized the aged diffrence form a photo in the database. "Yes your room is already reserved under the kings autherization. Your room is #343" she smiled and handed her the key. "All VIPs lik yourself on the kings list are not ristricted to any of our rules or regilations other then harming others. You may check in and out as you please and stay as long as you like. Good day."

"Alright thank you!" Cali said happily as she walked over to where Kokutan was standing. "Look Kokutan! We're VIPs!" She smiled. Kokutan mearly took the key and examined it for a moment. Cali then continued to tell Kokutan all the things the lady had said. "-Oh! And no hurting anyone!" She made sure Kokutan heard her say that rule.
He looked down at Cali. How was she 24 again? She didn't look all that different from when she was 16 at all. In fact the only thing that changed was that her face sort of aged, and she grew two inches. And look at Kokutan, he didn't change one bit! Well, he was half immortal. Even at 310 years of age he still looked like he was in his mid-twenties.
"Yeah, I promise I won't touch anyone." He grumbled some more and then decided to skip walking and just teleport all together to room #343.

*The women at the desk seemed board with it all, even this group. Word has already spead. Only two days ago the king had faded away and died. Thus his will placed both Eve Harrnett Yokai, and Keria Anju Yokai the princesses of the country in power to lead the country forword. Eve was already well known for only a year prior and three years to that she was takeing care of the counrty do to the king dissaperinign with no traces. Now there were people alover the place comeing to see if the news was true. Tippical, she was board with it all and shied as she greeted another group who had entered.*

After Cali had bathed Pongo and had a shower of her own, Kokutan finally had his chance at the bathroom. He looked into the mirror and relized he didn't reconized the person who stared back at him. His hair was one big gaint mess, and his face was covered in spots of drying mud. All this and his eyes had changed color as well. Instead of being their usual ivy-green they became neon green instead. How odd. Well, he took his shower and then went back into the room to find Cali staring at the television; eyes widened with shock.
"What, does it turn out Wolf actually has killed someone?" He joked around. Little did he know it was more serious than that.

*There was a knock ont he door* "Room service!" a lady called witha cart if they didn't answer she would pass on to the next room. It was a rule here every couple hours they offered at least.*

When Cali didn't respond to his joke, her eyes still glued to the television, Kokutan sighed and dried his hair with a towel. Then came a knock on the door along with a slightly muffled "Room service!" When Cali still didn't respond to even that, Kokutan sighed again and opened the door himself.

*THe women smiled, "We have fresh towls, some snacks, and of course we forgot aobut when to come clean your room for you, we were suppostto ask you at the desk when your conveious if right." She smiled seeming really nice.*

Kokutan stood there for a moment considering what he was suppost to say. This WAS Cali's room, not his. On top of that he had little idea to as how long Cali and he would be staying. "Yeah, you can clean any time past noon." He said bluntly.
Meanwhile Cali watched the news intently. It had something to do with who she called Mr. Yuji sir. She had always called him that since the day they met. Now he was all over the news for some reason...

*Teh women nodded and noticed cali watching the news, "that same story has been going for over two weeks now." She shook her head, "a shame as it is, others took his place instantly after he died."

One could swear Kokutan's eye twitched at hearing that Yuji was dead. And for one reason or another his senses heightened. He became more wary of his location and listened carefully to every said detail. He picked out this and that in what he had just heard and repeated it in his head. "others took his place instantly after he died." Who were these others? It became Kokutan's priorty to know. "He's dead? We were going to go visit him too..." Kokutan half-muttered to the women.

*She nodded* "I'm sorry to tell you, he's been gone for aver three to four weeks now. Not much have been heard from any of the members in the castle recently, other then the apperince of one of the princess, Keria Yokai and her kid apprentice.*

Kokutan didn't relax, in fact he was more on his toes than before. He was specifically interested in Yuji's death, if he had been murdered Kokutan could think up a few certain suspects. Lailaps was at the top of the list, that crazy boy was the reason he went into hiding in the first place. "How'd he die?" Kokutan asked. He might as well asked now well he had the chance.
