The specifics of the soul: A stubborn, though charming little bugger, in all his shaggy glory. Thinks almost everything is edible, from stones to loose change. Very social, though, and tends to stray from the others in his herd just to get his nibbles in.

Psychedelic Lavender
This essence was found completely on accident. No, really, we swear! D-don't mind that totally normal row of lavender bushes over there, I haven't been trying to grow it on purpose or something! I'm a person of honor, you know!
Psychedelic Lavender is not just a potent sleep aid, but an incredibly strong hallucinogenic plant, too! It's effects include hallucinations, severe distortions of reality, swirling colors, and profits that you wouldn't believe! ...What?
Lucid Daydreams: Though the essence is known to cause vivid hallucinations and trances, if the Raevan becomes aware of these hallucinations while conscious, they can learn how to control them and keep them in check. Or, they can use this ability to completely distort their reality into something favorable.
No Trouble Sleeping: The Raevan would never have any trouble falling asleep at night, and could sleep through anything and everything. (Getting them out of bed is a completely different story)
If paired with Cotswold Sheep:
Psychedelic Fleece: (If the Raevan has fleece for hair) The scent of lavender is heavy in the Raevan's hair and can cause vivid hallucinations to anyone who ruffles it or breathes too close to their head. (A hat of some sort might keep this at bay, however)
Dream Dust: While the Raevan's hair produces a scent which is a potent hallucinogen, their wings produce a dust which can knock you right out. This dust, seemingly made of finely ground lavender, is entirely non-toxic and is released when the Raevan is experiencing high levels of stress. It can also be shaken off of their wings, so hand washing is recommended if you come in contact with them. (Unless you want to sleep for the next 12-24 hours)
Other Fel Essences: Abandoned concepts that are free for use by anyone who might want to use them. (You do NOT need to ask me for them, go ahead and use them!)
Evasive Sand
Imagine, you're talking a lovely walk on the beach on a Saturday morning. The breeze is cool, the water is sparkling, and the sand is continuously distancing itself from your skin! ...Wait, what?
Evasive Sand will move away from any and all exposed skin as you draw closer to it. It seems the only way you can ever pick it up is if you're wearing gloves!
Powers that may come from this:
- Sand Manipulation: While wearing gloves, the sand stays dormant, but if holes are added, the sand will move a few inches upwards in those areas. Therefore, sand based attacks can happen. (Sand can be levitated and thrown into a foe's eyes, for example)
- Sand Form: (Tied in with the Cheetah Soul) While moving at high speeds, the Raevan can actually turn itself into grains of sand, and return to it's normal form when slowed down or idle.
Sweet Lemon
The sweet lemon is exactly as it sounds, a lemon that is sweet instead of sour. However, the amount of sugar in this lemon is staggering, and could leave you in a sugar-coma.
Powers that may come from this:
Natural disinfectant: Citrus fruits are well known for their ability to cleanse and kill bacteria. This Raevan will be able to secrete a lemon scented sweat from their skin which will keep bacteria away for up to six hours at a time.
Bug repellent: Another thing citrus fruits are known for is their ability to repel insects. Despite this essence's sweet taste, it still reeks of sour lemon, and keeps mosquitoes, bees, and all other bugs a good three feet away from the Raevan's person, even in high bug density areas.
Crystallized Bubble
This essence was found bobbing along the surface of a river in a cluster of regular bubbles. It's seemingly weightless, transparent, iridescent, and very delicate, as if the bubble had been sprayed with a thin protective coating.
Powers that may come from this:
Reflective: The Raevan is very shiny, espescially in direct sunlight. (They're also fairy pretty in the moonlight, too)
Delicate Skin: The Raevan's skin has a thin crystal coating on top of it that can be easily nicked and broken. Spaces that have broken take quite a while to heal and are very vulnerable.
Transparent: It's somewhat frightening to think that you can see right through the Raevan, but, you can. If you look close enough at this Raevan's skin, you can see almost every vein and muscle they have just underneath the layers of the protective coating that they have. Freaky!
Visible Carbon Monoxide
Carbon Monoxide is a deadly gas that has no taste, odor, or color, and can only be detected with the use of Carbon Monoxide detectors. However, after a forest fire ravaged a popular hiking destination, a strange, cream-colored gas started billowing through the area, giving those without proper protection headaches and nausea. This strange gas, when tested, turned out to be a visible form of Carbon Monoxide.
Lethal breath: Though the Raevan breathes oxygen like the rest of us, it's breath contains a high amount of Carbon Monoxide, and needs to wear a breathing mask at all times to avoid poisoning those around them.
Carbon Monoxide detector: Because the Raevan needs to consume Carbon Monoxide in order to survive, they're an invaluable asset in finding it in places where it shouldn't be and getting rid of it.

LOOKS :
Oliver has cream blonde hair which is curly and reaches his upper neck with fringe over his eyes. His eyes are teal and his skin is pale. He stands about 5'10" and weighs 150lbs. He is lean and healthy despite his smoking addiction, and even has some muscle due to his love of hiking.
Oliver wears comfortable, cotton fabrics, such as sweaters and plain slacks. He favors browns and creams, though he may wear a vibrant orange or light blue from time to time.
PERSONALITY :
Oliver has always been the calm, peaceful individual with a warm, friendly smile. He'll greet you like a friend and treat you like brother. A genuine soul occupies his body and a humble mind controls his movements. He'll help you off your feet and give you time to heal. You can almost always expect a cup of tea and cookies served with a good dose of TLC with Oliver around.
Although he is peaceful and warm most of the time, you'd best not push his buttons. If he feels he is being used, he'll confront you about it. If you have to break a promise, you'd better be prepared with a clear, honest reason why. Also, he's very stubborn about how he handles his smoking addiction. While the idea of using nicotine patches is growing on him, he'd sooner deal with withdrawal and cravings alone than wear a patch out in public. He finds patches embarrassing and awkward to look at, even if he knows they would help him kick his addiction faster.
Oliver is quiet and reserved without company. His home is filled with art and warm colors, but being alone takes the cheer out of him. He'll read a book, write a poem, or even watch the rain fall from outside his window if he's bored enough. He admits to being lonely, but denies any need for a romantic partner. All he needs, he says, is cup of tea and good friend to spend the day with.
HISTORY :
Oliver was born in Barton in a house close to a dense forest. His mother and father both worked as teachers in the local school system and instilled a love of learning in their children early on in their lives. He was the third born of four children and had an uneventful childhood. The usual arguments and sibling rivalries happened, but for the most part, Oliver's early life was a smooth ride.
Once Oliver had moved out of the house to pursue his dream of becoming an English professor, his life started to take a different turn. He was accepted to an expensive college where his roommates began to pressure him into smoking and drinking. Within a year, Oliver was addicted to cigarettes, constantly hung over, and was booted out of the college for his failing grades.
After failing university, Oliver went to community college and cleaned up his act. His love of teaching was rekindled and his motivations set back to full gear. He graduated with a stellar GPA and went on to teach at the very community college he graduated from. Since then, Oliver became all that he could ever want. He's a well liked and respected college professor, he lives close to nature trails, and most importantly, he feels that he has that sense of accomplishment he had worked so hard for.

August 2012 ~ After lurking the Lab for years, Pidgie finally decides to start a quest of her own! My footing on my concepts were as unstable as my life was back then. XD Ooof! Looking back to the past can be a bother sometimes!
June 2013 - November 2013 ~ I took a break due to life issues and came back with more ideas. Cusick was my original baby and hell always have my thanks for being my first "solid" concept. <3
January 2014 - March 2014 ~ Confusion on concepts resumes! 8D; Some attempt at writing? NAH, I just reserved posts and left them to rot. I'm so smart.
Summer 2014 ~ The Bittersweet Memories flatsale kicks off! 8D Oliver passed the first round without a hitch, but Cusick got knocked out in the second round. I came back here and resumed my typical ping-pong style thought process and brought two new concepts to life! Christopher and London came to be a quickly flourished in my mind in this season, and soon out shined Cusick as well. However, they seemed to like to compete amongst one another regardless of how my muse felt... What can I say? I'm a sucker for my babies. LOL. XD
Autumn 2014 ~ Happy birthday, mom! Though Christopher had a lot of muse in the beginning of October, London ultimately won the concept title. I began to spruce up the thread on my mother's birthday (October 18th) to commemorate this occasion. uwu

It violates the laws of life and death. And, I think any powers relating to life and death are too easy to GM. Furthermore, we have two serpentine Raevans so. I think, your powers would be pretty limited from that aspect as well.

And your crying stone eye wouldn't quite work either since it's man made.
I suggest going through the gallery of currently existing fel essences for ideas.
I know how hard it can be making a fel essence. :c But, you can do it! My suggestion is, don't make it too complex. Sometimes, the simplest idea is the best idea.
Say maybe... say something like Dry Rainbow or Independent Rainbow?
Rainbows normally require moisture to appear, but maybe this one got caught in the storm and is now able to exist on its own being reliant on moisture and other necessary conditions for the right light refraction for a rainbow to normally occur.
