The night was far too warm for her liking. Hot and sticky, with way too much humidity. Albireo was sitting at the edge of a lake, looking at the reflection of the sky in the dark water, half tempted to just dive in for a moment without heat. But, so far she had restrained herself…after all, who would want to walk around in a dripping wet fuku? It didn’t sound very comfortable.
She was sitting with her knees drawn up to her chest, just looking. Not much had really been happening lately, and she was happy for that. Though, if it wasn’t for nothing having happened, she would have chucked her damn pen into the lake and gone home. Though, that still seemed like a pretty good option right now. Safe, and easy, with nobody there to see her do it.
Yes, perhaps that would be her escape. After she took a swim, however.
At least through all of this, she was alone. It was always better to just be alone on nights like this.

Pippin was in a good mood. He had just caught the movie The Lion King on the big television outside of his favorite jewelry store and he was happy. It was on of his favorite movies and he had sat there the whole time, even though he gout quite a few look from tons of people who walk by. "Hakuna matata, what a wonderful phrase! It means no worries for the rest of your days." he sung out loudly. He could do this now that he was all along, he was just taking a nightly stroll around the park so no one could see or hear him because most were sleep. He keep walking while humming the rest of the song to himself. As he walk he caught sigh of a lake. Perfect! It was pretty humid and he could go for a nice cold bath. Running he jumped in yelling "Hakuna Matata!" Just like they did in the movie. He smiled and swam up to catch a breath when he notice someone very familiar, really familiar! It was Salior Albireo, he wonderful little swan. He was overjoyed and swam right up to her giving her a big smile. "Hi there Albireo! Hakuna Matata!" he said with a giant smile!

Albireo was just about to do it, she was just about to get in the water…when what seemed to be a cannonball jumped in it. The senshi stared, frowning slightly. A cannonball singing Hakuna Matata…and who…
Oh Pippin.
The girl shook her head and sighed. “Yes, yes, Pippin, Hakuna Matata. How have you been? I haven’t seen you in a long, long time. You been okay?”
She wondered idly if the cat had been at that failed meeting turned massacre, though she hoped not. The poor cat might have lost eight of his nine lives if he had seen all of those senshi killed left and right. No, if he had been there, he wouldn’t be Hakuna Matata-ing right now.
“Can I help you with anything, or did you just want to take a swim too? It’s terribly muggy tonight, isn’t it..”

She always seemed so sad, something he had to fix and quick. Someone who was sad all the time let a lot of bad thoughts in and bad thought let to worst things...things he didn't want to image. He smiled and quickly pulled himself out the water and shiver. easy it does it. He felt a lot better and wonder why Albireo hadn't done it herself, but then he glance at her clothes and then knew why. "Yes, I am sorry about that....I was errr...how can you say gathering my collection of things." he said looking away.
He didn't want to straight come out and say that he was horrible job and would forget at various length of time to check up but that was another story. "Nope! But it's nice to see you. I was just taking a swim when I spotted you. You know how I do enjoy seeing my wonderful little animals. " he pause to make a funny face and then looked back up to her. "Ahh yes, not that great." he finish.
He looked up and rubbed against her leg. "Try to smile, okay Albireo, you always look so sad, which makes me a very sad cat." he said in a soft voice.

Albireo shook her head, giving a little smile. “Happy now, Pip? I don’t know. I guess I’ve seen a little too much lately to really have a good smile. That…that battle the other day, last week or whenever it was. It’s really screwed me up. Even more than I think I already was.”
She picked up the cat and put him into her lap, petting him gently. “I don’t know, Pip. I really don’t think I was ever meant to be a senshi. I’m just…too emotional or something. Too thoughtful. Not strong enough. But, I guess anyone would weaken when they were the cause of two of their…uh…allies and had to watch them have their starseeds ripped out…but…”
The brunette looked out over the water and sighed. “Whatever…it’s all just whatever. I think I’m just going to quit. I promised someone that I’d stick it out for a little while, but I just…don’t want to anymore. I want this all to end. I just want it to all go away.”

Battle...What battle. Man he must of been missing in action for a long time. He had to put that in his notes not to leave for such a long time every again. That was his first thing every. DO. NOT. LEAVE. Yes, a very important rule, but it was nice to see a smile even though it was very fake it was fine.
Oh a lap, he indeed enjoy these. He frowned as she talk, she was really unhappy. Maybe he could spend a night and just stay. Taila wouldn't be too mad, I mean she would be more then happy because he wouldn't store all his shinnies in her house. He smiled up to her and purr. "No, you're a brilliant senshi Albireo, you just have to give it time. I promise, really. It hard work I understand jut give it time. I promise." he said in a soft voice. Yes maybe he will sleep over tonight. It seem like she really needed someone. It would do her some good.
He gave a soft rub and purr softly. "Oh Albireo, don't say that. It will get better. I just know it...." he said trying to make her feel a bit better.

“You don’t understand, Pip…” She murmured, still petting the cat, lost in her thoughts. “I’m just. Tired. Really tired. I don’t feel like what I’m doing is the right thing at all. I argue with almost every other senshi I meet…there was this one girl, Acubens. And I was going to be on her team, but…her and I got into a fight and so that’s out of the question…and I don’t know.”
She hesitated, then shook her head. “I should never have been made into a senshi, and if I ever find Chloe, I swear I might just ring her neck. I really might. It’s all her fault that I’m like this, that I’m depressed all the time. I don’t even…I don’t even really care about history stuff anymore. I haven’t been to the library in months, and I just.”
Albireo let out a strained laugh. “I’m done with this crap. I really am. Even if Dahlia says I could keep going, I just can’t. I can’t, Pip. I quit. I want things to be normal again. I don't want to hear people's screams in my dreams at night. I want to sleep like a normal girl again. Or something. I don't want to have a massive crush on someone who tries to kill me half the time. I just want out."

He sighed as he listen. She was sad and he had no others words to say then it will get better. He knew for a fact that it would get better. As she talk he heard a name that was familiar to his ear. Oh he would give a talking to Acubens for getting in a fight with his sweet swan and making her feel like this. No, his animals shouldn't be fighting like this. This worried him greatly. He had to be more acted in their lives, he couldn't let this happen again. He looked up to her and gave her a soft smile trying to make her feel a little better. "I'm so sorry Albireo, I'm really am. Would you like me to sleep over. Maybe then you can sleep better?" he said trying to make her feel a little better?

She looked at him, then gave a little nod. Well, maybe it would do her some good. She did get very lonely in the night, and it wouldn’t hurt to have something to cuddle for once…and, so long as he was there…
“Yeah, I think I’d like that…could you sleep over tonight, Pip…? I might squish you a little too much, but you’ll be making me really happy…so thank you…” She sighed, relaxing just slightly. Maybe she was just lonely as a senshi. Maybe she should work harder in finding friends.
Was that the whole problem? She was just an anti social beast, and her self-imposed isolation was just causing depression that was getting too difficult to handle. Oh she was such an overly emotional teenager.
“I’m ready to go home if you’re ready to come with me…”

Finally a little hope for his wonderful little swan. He hoped for this, anyways. She just looked so sad, maybe he would spend a lot more time with her then the other because she seemed to need more then any of them.
He grinned and looked up to her. "I would love it. We could have a sleepover! It would be perfect, just perfect!" he paused to give her a big smile and then continue. "And no you won't squish me at all! I might squish you. I like to cuddle a bit too much, well that's what I'm told anyways. And I'm glad that would make you happy." he said in a good mood. He hoped that this would be all that Albireo would need to get back into things. All he always wanted for his animal was their happiness and nothing more so he hoped that this would work.
He smiled up to her and nodded. "Yes, I would love to go to your room!" he said happily.

Albireo nodded, standing up and scooping the tiny cat up with her, holding him in her arms. “Then, I guess it’s settled. You’re coming home with me tonight. She concentrated rather hard on being…being normal, being Odette again, and felt her senshi powers melting away.
“Back to my house. To the house of boring ol’ Odette.” She took off walking, and was rather hopeful that maybe this would be the answer. Maybe this would bring some relief. Who did the lonely girls in all of the fairytale movies rely on, after all?
Their talking animals, of course!
And, since Dahlia wasn’t around right now, she supposed Pippin would suffice. He was nice, when he wasn’t being obnoxious…and, he was very fluffy.
Well, the night would go well, provided he didn’t take a bunch of her stuff. That would not make her a happy girl in the slightest.
