((Anyone who posted ICly in the main shop thread on Sea Serpent Day is welcome to continue roleplay here! It probably won't count towards growth since it started in the main thread, but this is here just for my (and anyone else's) records of character interaction, timeline, etc.)) It should be noted that this rp was originally started by Gl!tch on pg 979: Gl!tch~ I could do some informal in-thread arpee with rollers to pass the time while you fight the good ol' RNG war. 8U

Jai relaxed a little, leaning back on his hands. He watched as she brushed some stray hairs out of her face, and wondered why her hair was gray. One never saw kids with gray hair that often. he was about to ask her about it when she changed the subject. "Oh you want to know about me? Well..what do you want to know?" Jai wasn't sure if he should start out their friendship by telling her he collected odd bugs. She wasn't the type of person to pry, she would be going against her house's beliefs.

She lightly wrapped her hands around the handle of the broom, it was a first time for everything right. She hadn't thought of being part of the Hufflepuff quidditch team and she was unsure if she wanted to now. Having to sit on a broom for the length of the game seemed a little umcomfortable but what harm could learning do. He asked a final time, holding his broom handle firmly. "Tilt up. Just a little."

"Hmm...? Why?" he asked her with a smile, wondering if his fatigue was really all that obvious. It was nice of her to care, though, even if he didn't want her to worry. "I'm fine," he assured her blissfully, before staring back down at the surface of the lake.
It was almost as hard to peer into as it was at night, making it practically impossible to judge the depth. The water simply revealed his own reflection and shadow rather than anything that lay beneath its deceiving surface. It was perplexing. Jericho felt he could stare at it forever. He yawned.
