Days had come and gone, she was finally over the loss of a basket and often found herself alone at her home with Arden. He would be off doing what he had to do, mainly gather different herbs. She and he still spent tonnes of time together, but with the foals growing up so quickly, or so it felt, he found some extra time here and there to get what he needed.

On these days, where she founds herself alone she often took walks to encourage herself to be positive. She could still feel the life force of her little one, it would have just been nice if he would come back to her. She knew feeling that was not an option for them. His situation was different, she couldn't help but wishing.

Like any other she began her walk, her brain muttering away like a kooky bird, chittering to her about this and that. She was smiling, a rarity for some moments. The times had been kind, light rain, usually at night and then brilliant, but cool days. They were Noko's favorite, her pelt was certainly not made for the warmer weather, though adjusting was not all that terrible.

Looking down to the grown she noticed a trail, she hadn't thought there had been one, then she realized it was the same path she walked nearly everyday, with that in mind she decided then and there she would change things up. Taking a deep breath she stepped free from the path and went on in her walk.

Walking down a path she had never walked. Seeing sights she'd never see again. This was part of Livi's everyday. She rarely stayed in one place more then one night, and almost never walked back to the same place unless she had reason to. This was a life she chose and a life she loved. She would be bored if the scenery around her was always the same. Despite that she never strayed far from forest or plain lands, places that she felt connected her to the family she chose to leave but missed.

As she walked through the forest she thought and thought, always thinking. All about the world. Is the opening of the tail feathers a way to slow the decent of the flight, or to help keep them in the air while they slow their wings? That plant looks similar to a plant I've seen that causes rashes on two leggers, does this do the same? It has thorns while the other didn't. Maybe the berries on it are edible. So many questions coursed threw her mind. So few answered.

What stopped her endless train of though was something that would stop anyone. A gorgeous creature that looked like her excluding the four large wings coming from her back. What she was seeing was what she was sure was just a myth. what she was seeing was an Angeni. She was awe struck. She couldn't even bring her self to walk forward and to speak, something that never happens to her. It shocked her almost as much as seeing the Angeni did. She was entranced and stuck, but her mind was still whirling with questions she was to dazed to speak.

Ofcourse travelling off the normal beaten course would bring new things. New scenery, new creatures here and there and than a sighted Soq. Nokomis paused briefly in both her step and thought. A mare stood, wide eyed and in absolute shock it seemed, used to seeing herself she couldn't simply imagine why. Perhaps she had startled her.

With those thoughts in mind Nokomis immediately felt bad and began to stride forward, obvious signs of pride shone from her, but not obnoxiously, Nokomis was usually completely unaware of her aura, she wanted to enjoy life, not focus to hard on it.

"Hello there!" She beckoned happily, a welcoming smile glistened and she awaited some kind of communication. Beyond the look of shock the mare seemed nice enough, and without wings. This was something that provided Nokomis enough comfort to relax, she could easily get away should anything happen.

Nokomis greeting is what brought livi out of her frozen state. Though Nokomi after hearing Livi's first stream of words might rather she hadn't rescued the girl from being awestruck. "Oh wow you're an Angeni right? That is positvly amazing! I didn't even believe your kind existed. And yet here you are in front of me. You're really pretty. And your wings are so large. there are easily 50% larger then wind soquili wings. You can fly high and longer then wind soquili right? I believe I heard that from someone. I also heard that you have magic that is based on your domain. What's your domain? What kind of magic can you do? I also heard rumor that Angeni can morph onto a two-legger shape. Can you? Is it hard? Can you speak or understand human?" Livi would have continud but she had run out of questions. She also wanted the Angeni to answer her so she could have more to go off. But she did fear slightly that she might of asked to much and she would just be ignored. though she had never been ignored before.

Nokomis, to say the least, was pleasantly surprised at the mass amount of words one little mare could produce, question upon question seemed to bubble out and she had to separate them in her mind. "Hold your hooves still." She said as sweetly as she could, she wasn't frustrated, actually she was amused, never in her many days of existence could she had imagined an individual such as this, she knew she was in for a treat.

"Well, definitely exist, well done pegging the wing size difference as well..." She gave a great smile and put on a small display of her wing span. Both sets of wings spreading out and up, stretching. She relaxes them and they come back to her sides. "Yes, all Angeni, excluding wingless, are capable of flying much higher and alot greater distances than any other winged Soq." Had the mare only met winged Soquili? Nokomis found herself even more slightly amused that perhaps she just opened a whole new can of worms.

The smile never faded, and the words continued. "I am the Angeni of Mother Nature." She began explaining, she stopped upon introducing her domain and was startled to realize she had never recalled her power. She hadn't had any moments where the Angeni magic in her was needed. "Well, young mare, sorry to disappoint, but my Angeni magic would come as a surprise to both of us!" She was sure it had something to do with plants, more than likely. It was certainly something to ponder on. "But Angeni do have their own magics based on their domain, you are correct."

Well, how incomplete can a character be. The new questions that had poured, or rather trickled in at the end were related to things that Nokomis hadn't quite experienced yet. "We can morph. But, I have not yet had the chance to experience the change, nor have I seen a two-legger upon coming here." She stated simply, it was very matter-of-fact that she hadn't, but a determined flare lit up in her eyes. Those would certainly be her next goals.

Having a question of her own she spoke. "What is your name, little questioner?" She asked, again the smile never faded or tweaked. Nokomis enjoyed the curiosity of another being.

I figure the things she hasn't done yet can be revisited in the second roleplay and Nokomis can share her first experiences with Livi :3

Livi blinked, she had never heard the phrase 'hold your hooves' before. She she looked down at her hooves and held them as still as possible, wondering if it was some curtousey from this angeni's culture. She would have asked but she was more interested in the Angeni herself then in her back ground. She looked back up at the Angeni and smiled waiting for the answers she always got when she asked.

"I see that you do in fact exists in my reality. It's quiet interesting that even though you are real people cll you a myth or legend. I wonder how many other myths or tales where based on truth." She said more to her self as she mused possibilities then to the green mare. She looked up just in time to see Nokomis stretching her wings to their full potential. Her attention dragged back by the comment 'wingless angeni'. This surprised her. And the large wings amazed her. "There are angeni with out wings? I've heard that some halflings only have one pair of wings instead of two. But to think that there are great deities such as your self that are as flightless as me." She looked at the one thing she always wanted and smiled. "How amusing." Wings were something so amazing not even all Angeni had them. "I wonder what it would be like to fly higher then all other life." She said looking up to the sky, then back to the mare answering her questions.

'Mother nature' Livi looked around her amazed. This ageni had domain of almost everything around her. Her powers must be vast and amazing. She wished to know what they were. What their limits were. How do they effect the world around them. Did they cause the same effects as many of the plants in the world. Like the itchiness of poison ivy, or the relieving properties of aloe? Or maybe it just caused plants to grow and shrink, maybe even move to her will. Maybe if she wanted each of her steps could produce plants? Livi had made her self so excited about what the angeni's powers could be you could see it spilling out of her. he feet still planted in the same spot, but all of her muscles trying to raise her to new heights. And just like you could feel her excitement you could feel her disappointment. She sagged and sighed as her expectations were let down. She couldn't force this angeni to use powers she's never known before. it could go very badly. But she so wanted to know what they were. Still something in how the angeni worded the apology made her think not to ask about it again. Still knowing she was right that she had the powers at all made Livi happy again.

"Have you ever wanted to morph? I think it might be interesting to try and be a twolegger. They have s many skills. And the seem to be able to compensate for all of their short comings by making tools. Like that have no claws. So they sharpen rocks to be their claws. They have short weak legs. So they ride on our backs to make them faster. I would like to pick the brains of a two legger. But I do not understand how they talk. All of their words are so jumbled and weird. Do you think if you became a two legger you could understand their language? Could you learn it and teach it? I would love to know it" She said not hiding even an ounce of her admiration for the small weak, but smart humans.

At the temporary name given to Livi. The name 'Questioner' her eyes flared with awe. She had never been called something she felt fitted her so much. She loved her given name. It was short for Livius, her fathers name. A strong and noble name. But it wasn't her. She was not her father. She was also not her mother. But she did feel like she was the 'Questioner'. so she smiled at the mare and said proudly, "I am Livi, the Questioner."

Green Ever After
That sounds like a lovely idea. It would actually work relly well that way. I've very much looking forward to their second RP. Also also. Can I use "The questioner" as like a second name for her? Like if I can when she's an elder put it under her name, or just have it as a thing she says. I think she really like the term.

Excitement, joy and curiosity. All of these emotions rang true and pure in their conversation as it grew into a truly educating moment for the both of them. Nokomis felt like she barely knew herself as they continued speaking, she had forgotten there were so many venues she had yet to check out, her powers were fading from lack of use, she would have to revisit them for sure. As for morphing, a new light of curiosity burned in herself for it. The fact that some thought she and her race were a myth, a legend, that in itself explained the reactions she received from individuals upon meeting them and why she probably hasn't seen one of her own at all upon being on the ground.

"The skies are beautiful, whether from grounds view or being in it. But that feeling of being swept in by the big blue sea above us is one I would not trade for most things." She spoke, with her eyes to the sky, appreciating it at that exact moment. How could one not want to fly? She certainly recognized that everyone was different, but to have that sense of lightness and floating where one shouldn't actually be, was simply wonderful.

Nokomis waited now, 'Mother Nature' had certainly hit home with the mare standing before her, Nokomis simply followed her eyes, the wonder and awe lit up as it landed on the ground and grew up to the trees and more. Even Noko herself had never stopped to consider the size of her domain. Though she had never missed a chance to admire the plant life, and so she figured, in a way she had always really known, but never over thought it. The disappointment shred a little part of Noko, but she simply promised herself she would practice her powers and one day show the mare what she could do, it would seem that would make her truly happy.

"Wanted to?" She pondered this question, she had a feeling this would require some true thought, but for a quick answer she simply replied.."No, honestly the moment has not arised where I needed or wanted to." She said with full honesty. "But I have also never met a twolegger, though I have heard about them. The way you describe, they appear to be a very adaptable breed!" She was appealed by the descriptions given by the mare, the way this Soquili could admire such a species impressed and put Nokomis in awe. She did not think any less of twoleggers, but she certainly hadn't put much to any thought about them."Perhaps I could try!" She exclaimed, the excitement trickled its way into her brain and bit her. "I wonder if I can learn their language? Do you think I'd be capable?" Nokomi did not know what her full potential was as a twolegger, would only her appearance change? "If I can manage to learn it, then I will definitely try my best at teaching it!" Their conversations were back to smiles, she assumed.

A flare of awe, then an introduction, Nokomis was certainly honored that the mare took on such a name. "Well, Livi the Questioner, it is certainly nice to meet such a mare as yourself!" She smiled warmly. "My name is Nokomis." Her smile didn't waver as she awaited more questions, hopes and more. It was exhilarating. "What of your family Livi?" She asked, feeling a little one sided on the questions.

Moon_Princess_Yuki

Getting to know someone like Nokomis was eye opening to Livi. She was different then what the girl had met previously. Nokomis seemed to know so little, but be so much. Even though she was an Angeni, a magical creature way above all else. She felt that this one was so down to earth. What if all Angeni were like this? Was that good or bad? It was probably neither. even though they have the ability to change the world around them didn't mean they couldn't be like mortals. Hadn't she heard of a god called Coyote? That god had the power to become the moon, and place the stars, but still made so many mortal mistakes. Surely Angeni can be like that too.

This made her start thinking about weather Coyote is real or not. If maybe he was, whether he had really done everything that is told in stories. Or if he himself spread those stories. He seemed to be mischievous enough to do that. These thoughts made her zone for a bit. But when Nokomis started talking about the sky and flying she was right back with the conversation. She knew that if she could fly she would. Sometimes she wishes that her mother had found a nice winged boy to marry and have children with. but the thoughts always made her feel guilty because she loves her dad. And she didn't want a different dad.

Livi never expected to see anyone more then once in her life. She hadn't so far met anyone more then once. Even her parents have become something of a childhood memory. So she gave up on ever finding out the mares powers. But hoped that one day she'd be able to meet another Angeni who could show her their power.

"Really? Not even the raw desire to know and understand all of your powers and abilities drove you to transform?" Livi knew this was a silly question. The mare hadn't even used her domain power. She was not the kind of person who would us an ability just to see what it did. She was not Livi. If Livi was an Ageni she was sure her domain would me knowledge, or maybe questions? It was obvious the mare was not the same as her, she did not care as much about knowing. But Livi still couldn't help but be surprised.

Livi smiled, overjoyed to have her new tittle called. It was't an official tittle of course, but it still made her happier then anything. "I'm glad to meet you as well Nokomis."

At the question about her family she was confused. She had never been asked about them before. They were just people that she loved and had not seen in a long time. But still she tried to answer the question how she would want it answered, witch was very scientific. "Well both of my parents are normal Soquili. I don't know about their lineage though since neither knew their parents. But I am sure they are full normals. Why do you ask? Did you want to know if I had different bones? Like if I was part wind and there for had hollow light bones? Or maybe wondering if I was part unicorn with a slight inclination toward healing magic? Well I am only a normal. A very smart normal." She said with confusion and pride.
