The Spiritualists are a group of people who have allied together in the name of making the cause of the spirit's known. With the growth of society towards the more technological side of things, the Spiritualists goal is to make the world like that of the time during which Avatar Roku was alive.

Overview:
There has been a drastic change following Avatar Korra's death. She had never been one for the spiritual side of her role, having come to terms with it haltingly and at even inopportune moments. Even Avatar Aang, for all of his esteemed greatness fell somewhat short when faced with the legacy of his own past lives. It's no wonder the rest of society faced an altogether similar problem as they became increasingly fascinated by the steady advancement of science and the tools it birthed.

As the world advanced, the spirits became increasingly neglected by the people. The earth was abused by harsh waste products, temples and altars were left abandoned and forlorn, collecting debris. The spirits have shown extreme distaste, having caused many minor disasters and addressed those they were able to. In the defense of the world and the old ways, a daring and bold faction of citizens from around the world have gathered, declaring war on technology itself. Their goal is to restore life to what it was in Avatar Roku's time. And they'll go so far as to kill to make it happen.

Overall, The Spiritualists present a very real threat to the way the world is currently run. They go so far as to hire the Hunter Families, so that they can cause as much havoc as possible. Through these means, they are trying to bring down the current regime.

Organization:
The Spiritualists have a very loose knit organization, made up of benders and non benders alike. They have a central leader, but an other wise loose organization that is run somewhat by the Hunter Families that have been hired, and the more powerful individuals of the entire organization. A few Hunter's hold high position in the Organization as well, simply for their power.
