There is a lot of well-groomed plant life around the city, but there are parks as well. One sits by the housing district, and another is more like a playground just outside the Development house. Yet another is by the Library, and the biggest one is between the Grey Tower and the entrance. The largest park has a fountain, a hedge maze, several park benches, a skate park with a half pipe, many a grill, and a large black onyx obelisk in the middle. Upon the obelisk is where the Laws are written.

Laughing and staring at all of the buildings and things outside Chloe found it hard to tear her eyes away, everything looked so much bigger outside. Turning around she squealed with delight at recognising the park she had seen from her window. Running towards it with her pink pompoms hitting off her back and one hand on her head to stop her headband falling out.
She could see a girl sitting on the swings and waved forgetting that hand was holding on to her headband. It fell out and she had to stop for a moment to pick it up and slide it back into her hair, giggling as she did. Reaching the girl Chloe had to stop for a moment to catch her breath. The girl was quite a bit taller than Chloe and that was her sitting down, she had pretty clothes on with funny long sleeves.
"Hello, I'm Chloe. I like your flower it's pretty."
Grinning broadly Chloe sat herself down on the swing next to her.

Chloe nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes, I met a tall person all in black, he gave me a present and told me not to be bad. Then he melted."
She watched the girl for a moment seeing how she made the swing go. Looking down at her own legs she kicked out experimentally and managed to make it move a bit. Pleased she kept kicking out but had no rhythm at all so only succeeded in making it jerk around. Feeling a bit frustrated she swung herself to one side making the swing twist. Thinking for a moment she slid off the swing and began to twist it round upon itself for a couple turns. Sliding herself onto the swing again she giggled as it spun her round faster and faster.

She stayed still for a few moments letting the park come back into focus grinning like mad all the time.
"He was in my room just after I woke up."
Watching Keshi spin too she giggled and clapped her hands in encouragement. Chloe noticed that without her shoes she was actually a lot smaller though not as small as herself. She was about to warn Keshi of the dizziness but she stood up before she could.
Standing up and reaching out automatically to try and catch Keshi Chloe forgot that she was still a bit dizzy.
"I'll catch- yagh!"
Misjudging the ground Chloe stepped on the wrong part of her foot and went flying towards Keshi leg's.

Chloe gave her a big grin pulling herself up and sitting back on her knees.
"I'm okay." Looking down at herself she saw she had managed to skin her knees and get grass stains all down her front. At least Keshi's pretty dress wasn't ruined.
"I guess I should get cleaned up," sticking her tounge out and pulling a face in anoyance, she had been having fun. Rubbing her knees as she stood up she wondered where she could get a plaster.
"Well what room's your's? That way I can come and see you later. I don't realy know where anything else is."

Chloe smiled and waved goodbye to Keshi. She stayed where she was sitting on her knees for a while longer occasionally rubbing them when the throbbing became annoying. The longer she sat there the more she wanted to see more of the town, she gave up all pretence of going back to her room and stood up. Chewing gently on her lower lip she wondered where to go, looking around she saw a funny shaped building, it seemed just a short distance away and at least it's so tall she wont get lost trying to find it.
Humming to herself she made her way out of the park towards the building.

It had been quite the uneventful day for the less adventurous Rosin as he had stayed quietly in the room he had been given. When asked if he wanted to go to the mall with people he had adamently refused his sister's request and instead chose to remain behind with his new gift.

His guitar. His baby which he had decided he would NOT name until he could at least play a simple song on it. At the rate he was going, it wasn't likely to be any time soon that the Rosin would be able to do it.

He had discovered the light shows by pure accident when he had first tentively attempted to play a few notes. Little pops and fizzles of light had exploded and Laudanum had immediately thought he had set something on fire.

How, he hadn't known.

He was about to start another try at 'Twinkle Twinkle' when he heard his sister's panicked scream inside his head. Normally, he'd be a bit peeved that she had thought so loudly as a headache was already blooming...However, it sounded like an emergency.

The guitar was left where he sat as he ran out of the building and tried to follow the panicked vibes coming from his twin.

Abby? Abby where are you?

It must have been something to be able to talk to him mentally when her ability was to read his thoughts, not communicate by them.

Anguis was in the largest of the parks, stretched out on the edge of the fountain, head resting on one folded arm as his other trailed in the cool water. The warm afternoon beat down on his long greyish tail and tan back, warming him. Since waking, he had discovered that he quite like sun bathing, no doubt because he was half snake after all, black mamba to be exact.
The funny things about black mamba's is that they were not named for t he color of their scales, but rather the color of the inside of their mouths and tongue, which was an astonishing shade of ebony.
The serpintine rosin's black forked tongue flickered in and out, tasting the air as he lay there, black eyes half lidded and protected by long black lashes from the sun.
He'd been up since dawn, wandering around the city rather aimlessly, exploring things here and there, but so far he liked this place the most due to the large amount of sun it got around the fountain, perfect for sun bathing.
So far Anguis had seen only constructs around the city, making him wonder if there were really any others like him around. What would they be like, he wondered.
