Barnes and Nobles used to sell a pocket tarot deck with book, and that was really helpful. Yeah, it was brief, but it did give you the keywords and the reverse words quickly, so it was more on the reader to interpret than for them to spit back a book's definition.

I got a book a couple of years back from Barnes and Noble called The Tarot Bible. It has lots of great information on the different cards, meanings, and various spreads that you can do.
