A message was sent out to all the members of the Fright Music Club. It was up to them if they wanted to come or not, Roch never was very big on the word "mandatory."



And who was going to take over his job after he graduated, the punk boil thought as he stood on the stage. He had his guitar summoned--taking advantage of the alone time to do something he'd sorely been lacking in the past few months. He was playing.

Bulldog Bite--one that some of them had probably heard before, seemed to echo, unwittingly drawing people that weren't even in the club to the stage.

Danny was hanging out somewhere around the stage, and was actually about to go see if he needed more help. So it was a good thing she was practically there already. Wouldn't be much of a Vice President if she couldn't show up for things!

Seeing someone new come in, she said, "Of course he doesn't suck! Roch's the best guitarist ever ever." There was a twinge of pride in her voice. She loved her best friend okay. "Hi I'm Danny, who are you?"

She set down her bags and shuffled over to where Roch was playing, sitting on the edge of the stage. She looked down at her text one more time and noticed someone was missing from the list.

"You forgot one!" Danny said triumphantly. Technically, Roch didn't. Technically, this person wasn't even in the club. As far as Danny was concerned, he was going to show up with Mitsu anyways, and this was just one more opportunity to get him to play guitar. She took out her own phone and called him instead. No answer, so she left a voicemail.



Did it matter to Danny that Shun wasn't even in FMC? Nope. Not even a little.

His head jerked toward Danny. He hadn't noticed her before. She offered her name so Neil gave his.

"Neil," That was pretty much it. He wandered on in closer to the stage and took a seat at the base of it. "Am I interrupting something?" The question was mostly directed to Danny but not entirely. It was strange a group of students would be collected around here while Roch practiced. Not that it was any of Neils business. Really, it wasn't any of his.

The ghoul behind Roch waved over at him. Neil silently waved back.

"I didn't mean to barge in. Kind of thought this place would be empty." That just showed how attentive he was to things going around school. To be fair, Neil was trying a little harder now to pay attention to what was going on.

Amphi took the sucker happily and tucked her books and papers away. She made her bond with the Reaper clear as she wrapped her arms around his waist as soon as the guitar was gone and continued to watch the stranger.

It wasn't as if he had quite insulted her boil yet but....She held her phone up with what she had typed and showed it to Roch.

He got the message, actually he was a little surprised that he did as he tucked his wooden flute under his arm. Without haste Joachim made his way to the Old Crypt stage, not sure really what good he would be for something called the Battle of the Bands. He assumed it had something to do with instruments more along the lines of drums and guitars not something classical in nature.

When he got there he noticed a few of the students he had met, Danny whom he talked to about joining and Roch the boy from the hall or at least it looked like him it was hard to tell without the demonic cat like thing in his arms want to eat Merel.

Joachim didn't say anything when he got closer to the stage, he offered a wave but he felt a little awkward in saying anything.

Danny smiled and waved at ALL THE PEOPLE as they came in. She noticed Ren staring at her lollipop and threw it it at him. Hopefully he had the motor skills to catch it.

Then her pocket started buzzing, so she got up and walked a few feet away from the crowd, putting the phone to her ear.

"Hey Shun! Are you coming now-"

"Ummm ..." No. The answer was no. There was literally no reason for Shun to be here, except maybe that a few of his friends were in the club.

That didn't stop Danny though. "Well ... I think Roch's gonna talk about Battle of the Bands ... and you're kind of in FMC." He wasn't. "And this could be your chance to play your guitar!"

Flawless plan was flawless.

Danny smiled blankly at the phone, hitting the end call button. Shun must've been on his way! Clearly that's what was going on. Obviously Shun was rushing down here to serenade them all on his guitar. Clearly.

With that accomplished, she smugly put the phone back in her pocket and then slunk over to cling to Amphi, waiting for Roch to talk.
