♕ ♔ { Streets' Photography Contest } ♔ ♕
Hello all! Streets of nowhere here, or just streets. I'm a big fan of photography and as such I've decided to run my own contest for you all to show of your photography skills. Make sure you read the rules carefully; if you have any questions, ask; if not, go ahead and enter something!

♚ ♛ Categories ♛ ♚
❶ Nature - the natural world is a beautiful place, whether it's landscapes, plants, animals or even the sky; if it's a photograph of something natural [see also: not man-made] it can be entered in this category.
❷ People - people make some of the best subjects. There's a lot to think about; emotion, fashion, pose, but doing it right can make it right. This category is for anything focusing on people.
❸ Architecture - People are interesting in themselves, but they can create interesting things as well. We've built all over the world and whether that's good for the environment or not some of those things we've built are magnificent. So this category is for the buildings [or at least the photographs of them]
❹ General - Have an idea that doesn't fit in to one of the above categories? That goes here. The good old general category for people who just need space for their creativity to flow.
♕ ♔ Rules ♔ ♕
❶ Every photograph you enter MUST be your own, if it isn't you won't win a thing, you'll be automatically disqualified from any contest I run in the future too. It's disgraceful behaviour and I won't have it.
❷ Every photograph entered has to be new. If you want to use it for something after this contest that's fine, but please don't re-use old ones! [CLARIFICATION: by 'new' I mean less than a year or so old and especially not one that you've used in other contests]
❸ You may only enter two photographs per category. That's a total of eight chances to win, but no more.
❹ You have a month to enter. The closing date for entries is September 14th. The judging may take up to a week and the winner announced by September 21st latest [unless something drastic happens]
❺ Keep editing to a minimum. This is a photography contest not a 'look how good I am at photoshop' contest. I'm going to be judging more on composition so a lot of editing won't help you anyway.

I don't have infinite amounts of gold so this is the prize pot at the moment [these prizes may go up if I get more gold]
