Sanskrit words for sugar and beverage respectively.
Blood colour: Tea green! Specifically #559119.
It's the tiniest bit bluer than Nepeta's blood.
Gender: Female
Symbol:

A symbol for evaporation found on household appliances. Closely related to the symbol for steam.
Personality: As a greenblood, Rasali is able to skate by through her life without too much difficulty. She's not red enough to garner much disdain from the highbloods, but she's not blue enough for them to expect a lot out of her. Rasali's life is pretty simple. She takes advantage of the quiet in her life to spend her nights relaxing on her hive's porch under the moonslight with a cup of tea. She knows she could do a hell of a lot worse as a midblood, and appreciates her peaceful hive near the forest, but that doesn't stop her from getting antsy from boredom.
She's a big fan of all kinds of cinema--the more melodramatic and campy, the better. Rasali also likes games, but her lack of creativity and patience for puzzles keeps her from taking up FLARP. She does enjoy other sports, though, but can become a bit of a drill sergeant with her team should things get competitive. She knows you could be a winner if you would just PASS THE ******** BALL.
While she adheres to the social order of the hemospectrum, Rasali is more judgmental when it comes to a troll's lifestyle: if they have their quadrants under control; if they know what field they want to go into as an adult; if they know how to stand up for themselves in a fight, etc. Strangely enough, Rasali is more likely to show enthusiasm than disdain if the troll in question's life is in a state of disarray. Rasali loves fixing things-- trolls most of all. She has romantic dreams of being in someone's pale quadrant and her thirst for entertainment gives her an aggressively meddlesome personality. She plans on becoming an Interrorgator for the Empire some day, but until then, Rasali will do her part to find out what's wrong with trolls in her immediate vicinity… Oh, and help them!
Strengths:
Emotionally Perceptive
"You seem quieter than normal! Are you feeling alright?"
Feelings jams are Rasali's bread and grubsauce. She can get a bit relentless if someone's keeping a secret from her, but for the most part, Rasali is genuinely interested in making sure people feel comfortable around her. She can carry on a conversation about almost anything, but has a soft spot for in-depth discussions regarding quadrants, real or fictional. Her desire to seek out "projects" has gotten her pretty good at reading body language. She knows when she's not wanted (but whether or not she actually leaves is another matter entirely).
Supportive
"Don't forget: you are STRONG and SPECIAL and IMPORTANT!"
Rasali's tendency to meddle may be condescending and ultimately self-serving, but she wouldn't get involved if she didn't believe in her cause. She has a great deal of faith in the people around her and feels that they can accomplish great things if they just have a push in the right direction. She'll go to great lengths to help a troll out without asking anything in return. If anyone feels down about themselves in Rasali's presence, she'll be there to slap some sense into them.
Reliable
"I said I would be here, and here I am!"
Rasali is an honest troll. She doesn't beat around the bush if she's got a problem with someone, and her desire to do right by others means she takes her promises very seriously. While she's not above mind games when the situation calls for it, they don't sit well with her and she'll avoid them whenever possible. She's got no problems with telling people "no," so if she agrees to do you a favor, she means it. She's a troll who gets things done.
Flaws:
Self-Righteous
"I'm just trying to help!"
Rasali never does anything half-way. She's either completely invested or couldn't care less, and when she does care, she cares a lot. Passion can make Rasali reckless, and she's prone to sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Whatever problems she may cause with her interference, Rasali will refuse to admit fault. She's good at explaining away any sort of involvement she may have with ensuing drama, though it's up for debate whether or not she really buys her own words.
Perfectionistic
"It's no big deal! I can handle it. Really. Really…"
Rasali is a problem-solver. She revels in having her s**t together and longs to be praised for her reliability. Unfortunately, this has made it impossible for Rasali to accept personal failure. Once she gets down on herself about something, she is ruthless and takes a long time to recover. She can't just let sleeping barkbeasts lie and will keep needling at both herself and others if something is wrong.
Objective
"What more do you want from me!?"
The hemospectrum isn't doing Rasali any favors, so she determines her self-worth by how many people appreciate her. In turn, Rasali often forgets that trolls are real people with feelings and can get too wrapped up in the thought of them as things for her to fix or goals to attain. This can lead to her taking an ironically clinical approach to comforting others in need. Her fear of showing weakness prevents Rasali from opening up to others or letting people reach out to her. While she can put up with other people's issues (note the phrasing, as she's not nearly as tactful as she would like to think), if her own emotions get too "real" for her, Rasali will withdraw.
Weapon: Rasali doesn't like physical exertion and doesn't have much confidence in her fighting skills, so she tends to duck out when s**t gets violent. She wields a switch. It's like a rubbery cane or a very thick whip, geared more towards disabling an opponent (or under extreme circumstances, torturing), but it can be lethal if Rasali gets an enemy down and just keeps hitting. For the most part, Rasali doesn't make much of an effort to train in combat outside of self-defense. Like her lusus, Rasali believes not-being-worth-fighting to be the best strategy.
Appearance: Rasali is very round! She has a round face with cupid's-bow lips and wide eyes framed by pronounced bags the hue of her blood. Her default expression looks surprised because of this, but her face is otherwise very emphatic. Her horns resemble the handle and spout of a teapot!
Her hair is long, reaching her hips, and stiff-straight, save for the ends where it flares out at a 45-degree angle. Around her face, Rasali's hair is cut to give her bangs in the center of her forehead, while the rest is swept behind either ear under the rest of her hair.
The rest of Rasali is decidedly pear-shaped. She's a little below average in height given that she's seven sweeps old, but her hands and feet are positively tiny. Most of the time she wears a couple tight tank tops and a pair of sweatpants. Her wardrobe ranges in color from gray to black. She rarely wears shoes, but when she does, it's just a pair of flip-flops. Comfort is key!
Home: Rasali lives in the Four Fronds area just on the edge of the forest. Her hive is small and unassuming, set just far enough back in the trees that it can't be easily seen from the well-worn dirt road that runs past it. Said road leads to a natural hot spring back behind Rasali's hive. Rasali looooves the spring and spends a lot of time there. Even if she's not sitting in the water, she can often be found hanging around next to the spring in order to spend time with her lusus. Rasali believes he's the reason the spring doesn't get visitors other than her. He may be an herbivore, but he's a big grump.
The hive itself is mostly a respiteblock with a kitchenette, but has a large sliding door that opens to a porch, making the space seem a lot larger. Rasali doesn't have much furniture outside of a low table and her recuperacoon, but she more than makes up for it in pillows and blankets. Most flat surfaces in her hive are covered in teapots while her walls are decorated with paintings of serene landscapes and posters of her favorite blockbusters and pop music groups. She's messy, but she knows where her things are.
While she loves her tea, Rasali's nutritionblock isn't used for much more than boiling water. Her eating habits are pretty abysmal. She doesn't like meat and doesn't have much patience for cooking. Luckily (or perhaps unluckily since it only enforces her poor nutrition), Rasali's palette isn't terribly refined. She could eat Styrofoam if she had a good cup of tea to wash it down. She just doesn't like being hungry.
Lusus: Rasali's lusus is based on a kappa. He's a large, bipedal turtle, roughly the size of a bear, with a duck bill. He also has a luxurious mane of hair accented by an unfortunate bald spot on the top of his head. He's very fond of his long locks and self conscious of his bald spot. He'll begrudgingly let Rasali give him a trim every once in a while so his vision isn't obscured.
Kappadad is quite old for a lusus. Rasali suspects he may have had a charge or two before her, but if he has, he's neither confirmed nor denied her suspicions.
He was a good lusus to Rasali in her wiggler years. He was never aggressively violent, as his sturdy defenses have always been enough to deter most predators. Now that Rasali is able to care for herself, Kappadad has decided he deserves a break and has taken to the hotspring where he sits most of the day. Rasali hasn't actually seen him back at the hive for a very long time. He becomes extremely lethargic when cold or dry so it's hardly worth the effort for Rasali to coax Kappadad out of the water. He seems to be managing fine on his own, anyway.
Power: None!
