Can a Christian be a liberal or is a Christian being a liberal just a hypocrite? Do you think that your political party interferes with your faith? Discuss.

There are plenty of Christian liberals here on Gaia. There's a whole guild of them just to start with. I'd say a Christian liberal is no more a hypocrite than a Christian conservative.

Subliminal Aftermath Usually it's a taboo topic hence why I brought it up, could you go into depth with why you think that way? I have no reason to consider Christian liberals hypocrites. I don't see anything they're doing or saying that is especially hypocritical. I mean, there's not much to go into depth on. If one were to consider Christian liberals hypocrites, I'd think there'd be more to discuss.

Hmm... If your conservative, then you might not like big government. But if your Christian, you'd most likely want big religion.
So, in that regard, wouldn't christian consevatives be hypocrites?

I dabble in religion, because in most cases, the intent is honest. I don't dabble in politics, however, because in too many cases, honesty is not on the table. Overall I think christians bring something good to politics, regardless of which side of the fence they are on.
