The sun was shining brightly as Chickadee munched on her daily serving of honey oats and apple pieces. She always was a little spoilt, and after the rain they've been having she finally got to enjoy a day to dry her coat and roll in the dust which now formed from the puddles. Which means her owner Antique was not going to be working her today. She had only recently been moved into a fresh paddock to eat down the grass which has now grown abundant and lush. Eagerly she began trot in place, muzzle still deep inside her lime green feed bucket with her name scribbled on the edge. Little did she know however, the paddock was not all to herself...

Tail held high, Dalfaemor was more than grateful to be let loose and set apart from his other 'companions'. Snorting softly as he pawed at the ground, kicking up chunks of dirt and grass at his...owner, the unicorn tossed his head and snorted again. Once he was certain that the two-legger was gone, Dal set to pawing at his feed bucket and paused. "Is this a trick of fortune or have the gods smiled upon this unfortunate soul at long last?" Chuckling to himself he trotted (or rather strutted) over to circle the mare slowly.

Her ears were pointed directly at the stallion. Legs frozen stiff half willing to stand, half ready to bolt away she trembled slightly. She's never really been close to another unicorn before. Who are you?!" She blurted out, glancing quickly to her feed bucket to make sure it was untouched, forgetting she has already scoffed down the mixture not five minutes ago. Her legs buckled slightly and she backed up by two paces, eyes still fixed upon him.
He was rather handsome she thought, but none the less a stranger!

Respectfully keeping his distance from the startled mare, he tossed his head dipping into a playful bow. "Dalfaemor, milady. I apologize for startling you so." Prancing in place, he forced himself to stay still lest she start and bolt again. "May I be so bold as to ask your name?" He would have to be on his best behaviour, at least until this mare proved that she was either more than a pretty little face or that she was. It really didn't matter either way, he'd have his fun and there was no one to stop that. Other than his silly handler of course.

"Chickadee" She replied. Relaxing somewhat cocking her head to the side. He was being rather polite, stallions couldn't be all bad then. Very different from young colts. "Your name is strange" She began "Are you new here? Or have you been present in the recent rains?" Chickadee began to approach him, she had new found confidence within herself and stepped with a pronounced 'bounce' as she trotted in place. Dressage was obviously her chosen thing, but it's not to say she cannot outrun him if she tried, she was positive she could win with her fancy foot work over raw speed and power. She was still trotting steadily when she stumbled over. Touching the ground with her nose before quickly re-balancing herself. Embarrassed she averted her gaze from Dalfaemor.
