Hey there fellow guild members, my name is Sasuke no Katon! I just joined and I hope to get to know some of you people!

Uh, I guess by my name you guys can easily tell I like the anime Naruto and Sasuke is my favorite character, so, I'll skip the long, boring reasons for my name.

I've been roleplaying since....well, forever, it seems. I can remember being little and fantasizing I was Sailor Mars, pretending to shoot fireballs and acting like her. It hasn't really changed much today. I write fanfiction. (My Penname is DarkHybridChild on ff.net) and I roleplay, when someone asks me to.

I haven't been able to roleplay a lot due to some falling out with ex-friends so I came here, hoping to start fresh!

Please, if you wish to address me, call me SnK (for inside joke purposes), Sassypants, or Mandi. Or, if you wish, DHC, my penname.

Mandi is my real life nickname, I'm 22, female, and I live in Missouri, USA.

My current fandoms are mostly Naruto and .Hack// right now. I do love a lot of other videogames and anime, though, so feel free to ask me about my tastes.

Um, if you have any other questions about me, simply ask.

That said, I hope to join in the fun!

Cheers, all!

Any of your fanfictions exceptionally popular?

I'd like to think me playing pretend until I was thirteen or so (a lot changes when you learn how to puberty) is much of the reason I still roleplay today.

Having a good background in running around seeing stuff only you can see and doing stuff that only makes sense to you is begging for creativity later in life.

Yeah, I have a semi-popular one. It's called Crisis Reverted in the Naruto fandom.

And lol, yes, I agree about the running around doing thing only you can see and makes sense only to you does indeed beg for creativity.

Random blurb: I dreamed an entire three episodes of NCIS (I'm a big fan of the show...) and it all made sense (for once.) O_o;;; Damn. It makes me want to write! *shakes fist* But I've already got a lot of projects started. Oh, what a dilemma, lol!
PostPosted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 6:29 pm

In dilemmas like those, it's time to write out all your ideas for the ones you can't finish, and finish all the ones you can. Treating writing like a job sometimes makes writing somewhat dull, but it can up your efficiency with writing by lots and lots.

...I say like I've ever really finished writing anything....

But hey.

I totally understand. I've never finished any of my works, but I'm trying my hardest to change that with Crisis Reverted. It's my longest on-going fic! 26 chapters and the side-story to it has three. X_x I'm...dying. LOL.

My problem is, I have ADD AND OCD. My attention span can only be hooked onto one thing at a time, so it makes spacing my stories (and therefore, my ideas) out rather taxing. X_x

Sounds like a fan-novel!

Ah, as I do not have those I could not tell you how to master them, I'm simply absent-minded on occasion. A friend of mine keeps a notepad with her at all times and writes short blurbs for her ideas (with dates) so she can get back to them later.

Sometimes she even manages to get new ideas or better ideas off of seeing them all there in one place.

Then again she's an artist, so instead of taking her a week to write it takes her a day or two to draw something nice-looking.

Though I am a writer I envy the artists that can put their thoughts in a visual form. I have to settle for being cleverly descriptive without being overly-so and rely on other's imaginations to take it away from there.

I can't seem to remember to bring a pad with me to write stuff down on.... It sucks.

And I can draw a little, but I've always preferred to describe my images than try and draw them. I seem to feel I reach a high perfection when describing it with the mind's eye rather than the visual one.

I have a very vivid memory. Not quite photographic, but it's very detailed. I don't forget things for a long while, either, so it helps me remember what I was writing or going to write.

See, that's a different perspective and I enjoy that. To reach a high perfection when describing something with writing.

That's good. I still wish I could draw really really well, but I suppose it takes the same amount of skill (if completely different talent sets) to achieve a good description writing as it does to achieve a good drawing/painting.

Speaking of talents, any others?

Talents....hm. I don't know if you believe in the mystic, but I am psychic, if you want to call that a talent.

Other talents...I can sing rather well, I practice Poi--the art of spinning twin balls of fire and/or a staff or batons. I spin twin fire batons, but I practice with just regular ones. I can't afford to buy my own fire brand yet sweatdrop I borrow a friend's when we go to fire gathering--it's an activity thing every other friday where I live where people all over town gather to spin Poi and hang out. It's fun. =) I'm also very good at photomanipulation on paintshop pro7 and I know a bit of programming, HTML, and I know how to get rid of six different variations of Trojans manually without a anti-virus (I used to get them ALL the time when I was younger, so I learned how to get rid of them quite fast, lol).

Um...any thing else...uhh.... Besides all that, I guess my other talent is that I'm a good mother-figure. I practically raised four of my nieces/nephews. (two girls, two boys. and a set were twins. X_x)

Ooooo, performance artistry, that's cool.

Do you perhaps live in a gypsy town?

Is there really such a thing as a gypsy town?

I'm actually on pretty good terms with the mystical, the most I can really blame them for is rotgut (my name for whenever everything tastes like crap for a day) and really, really bad nightmares.

In this day and age of technology, being able to care for your computer save tons and tons of money for doing what only takes about 15 minutes worth of clicking. And you're a shop artist, you should do humourous things with that.

People tell me I would make a great father. Never really got into a position to be a father-figure (kids absolutely adore me though, it creeps me out.).

I live in Springfield, Missouri. It has a lot of art festivals and fire gatherings. I get to perform a lot. Never for money, I just enjoy entertaining people. I do, however, charge people for tarot readings and the like. My psychic talents are a bit higher standard, after all, lol. I only sing in the karaoke bars, though.

I do make and do humorous things with psp7 but I'm looking to get into a career being a graphics artist. So I gotta keep my stuff clean-cut for the most part.

And lol, I know what you mean. Kids are drawn to me like a magnet. I don't mind, though. I enjoy being kind and motherly, so I suppose it's just a natural reaction for me to pay attention to them if they hang around me. =)

Of course kids being around you AND your performing around them, kids can have a lot of fun around you.

I...make fart noises and tell stories.

I suppose we all have our different ways to entertain though.

How much is a tarot reading of yours? Do anything else psychic-wise to charge people for?

Graphic arts make a good career if you can find a good employer, anything specific you want to design, like logos, or adverts?

I wouldn't mind doing logo's for companies, I'm fairly good at taking a piece that's already been thought of and improving upon it.

I charge ten to fifteen bucks a session for my tarot readings, depending on how stenuous the energy toll is for the reading. I can also read palms and I am somewhat able to read the mind. I don't normally offer these talents out, though. They're more personal for one-on-one, close friends and the like. I've met a lot of people down here, and their positive energy has been only strengthening and heightening my third-eye chakra, enabling my powers to grow broader the more I try to expand.

Lol, no worries, I make farting noises and tell stories, too, at times. It all depends on how mature the group of children are, lol!

Oh man what I wouldn't give to be surrounded by a bunch of positive people. It seems like everyone in this town has been hit on the head with a case of the droops and the mopes and there's troubles by the number everywhere you go.

And then I go to the gym and it's so frickin' amazing I might as well live there, those people are happy and in good moods and they make me happy and in a good mood. And then the endorphin/adrenaline/testosterone rush that follows from working out.

The funniest part is that while I feel more manly after going to the gym I am a regular participant in ZUMBA, which very few men participate in around my gym. And when I tell people they can't believe it.

And you know what? I'm one of the best dancers in the class.

Feels great.

Then I come back to the "real" world of droops and drips and sniffles and why oh why's.

Contrasts, I tell you.

Zumba?? Awesome!! I can't dance, even though I do DDR. xD;;

I feel manliest when playing CoD:MF1 LOL!! xDDD

Though the positive energy gets to be a bit overwhelming sometimes, I'm not a naturally upbeat person so it can get on my nerves from time to time.

I dont enjoy living in the "real" world with all the downers and stuff. I've almost always got my head in the clouds, lol!
