Ashi has taken the shell of his former captain's laboratory and has made it his own. In respect he keeps the design the same. However Ashi is quickly making it his own place to be comfortable in. On the desks large stacks of papers and other devices crowd and stack most available surfaces. Yet Ashi seems to know exactly where to find each report and paper for any situation brought up to him. the only thing clean of any obstruction of space is the large computer screen and the control panel under it.

Raimundo sat in his seat infront of his wide computer, scrolling through the different information on the Hueco Mundo, Hollow, and their abilities. Checking over designs, Raimundo realized he couldn't produce what he wanted unless he had something more powerful, to study. He would need to watch an arrancar in action, and study their Reiatsu Wavelengths. He picked up a capsule from his desk. If anything with a stable Hollow energy was in this little sucker's vicinity, he would be able to test it and replicate it.

Raimundo's head didn't move from his computer screen. "Working, Zhi... I have an Idea on a new subject. Hollow power is unreachable to the Average Shinigami. But what if We could harness their abilities to use against them?" He asked, his eyes flickering rapidly across the screen.

The Screen infront of Raimundo cycled with information faster than the average being could process. But with Raimundo's heightened intelligence, it was simple as scanning the pages with his eyes. His brain process all the information in both the theoretical data and the practical designs. Raimundo would have to come up with some sort of device that could manipulate the Hollow energy wavelength and duplicate it in a manner that would be sustainable in a capsule of energy to be used in the weapon he would be working on to combat the different types of Hollow. Unlike most Shinigami, Raimundo didn't see Hollows as a nuisance, or a plight, but rather an evolved species worth studying and perfecting. The perfect creature would be one that could access all aspects of spiritual energy, and manipulate it.
"Zhi, could you quite possibly bring some stuff to the Head Captain for approval? I need approval to be able to take field action and get out there to obtain information on Arrancar and their sentient use of Spirit energy." printing off a sheet from his computer, he signed it. Its basic purpose was to allow the Squad 12 captain to capture a Hollow for research, and study an Arrancar, or similarly developed Hollow-like creature to use the information to create his next project. Some might call it wrong and Immoral, but when it came to Science, Raimundo would sometimes do what he felt he had to do.

Half the time she had no clue half the time of this made no sense to her. She wasn't the smartest but she was the vice captain of the squad. But was useful to help out in any way she could. She looked at him. "Why can;t you ask him? This is your research and your the best one to explain it then me. Seriously. Plus I wouldn't be able to answer any of the questions for this if the Head Captain ask any." She said as she crossed her arms. She looked around the lab. It was different than hers. Her office was filled with toys.

Raimundo finally looked up to his Vice Captain. He had to look her in the eyes. She showed surprise, but Raimundo could barely read the emotion, but caught it nonetheless. When Raimundo had chosen her as a Vice Captain, it wasn't because she was overly intelligent, or even on the same wavelength as the other people of his squad. It was because she had something that not a lot of people could use these days. An imagination. She dared to dream. Raimundo wanted her because she could give Raimundo something he lacked. The power of innovation. It was easy to make something better and Label it an Innovation. But what a lot of the stuff would lack, is creativity. Raimundo admired her for it, but as a Captain, he had to be professional.
"I am sure he would know where to find me if he had questions. If I'm not roaming around, then I'm here." Raimundo ruffled around in his cloak for a moment before producing a small metal spinning top. "I threw this together for you while I was working. It uses gyro stabilizers to constantly spin once you've started spinning it. I've engineered it to respond to your touch, and your touch only. It will not work for anyone else." He said, holding it out for her.

I don't like being put on the stop when it comes to questions about your research. I don't understand half of what you do. Seriously captain! Come on!" She said in a child-like tone. Zhi stretched out on the table and let out a moan. She really did hate being asked questions about his work. She had trouble trying to explain it majority of the time. Seriously. She did not want to go to Head Captain and explain all of this. Then she saw the top and she smiled. She took it and started to spin it. Then she bounced as she watched. Zhi gave Raimundo a hug as she bounced. "Thank you Raimundo. I love it. it's awesome! I can have it spin all the time on my desk when I'm in there and just stare at it. It's so cool!...what's gyro stabilizers? Do remember I don't know half of what you say to me when it comes to science. I grew up on a farm." She said giving him a look like a kid would to their parents like they were questioning them.

 Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Ashi strolled in being the lowest rank allowed through here. In his arms were notes from past captains on the squad. Somewhere in these pages was perhaps materials on these arrancars. The stack was as thick as a phone book but all containing the words arrancar or espada somewhere on the page. It wasn't uncommon for Ashi to appear from studies to produce notes on the current project of interest. He bowed respectively at the door before walking in. His steps were light as he padded on rope wound sandals. His sleeves almost hung past the sheets of paper showing only the sharpened black painted finger nails to the hands holding the papers.
"Oh dear I hope I'm not intruding on something!" A toothy grin said from the door. Ashi had failed to realize till that very moment the lieutenant was there also. Ashi set the papers on a clean surface close by and glanced at the screen for a moment. He was scanning with gray orbs the details that flashed by.
"You can run the numbers however you want but the theory seems flawed. It is as you say captain we need a living specimen. Preferably one who screams a bunch. On any note I've searched all written archives and notes from past officers. And like the info on the big flashy screen here not much help. The most promising papers were all personal notes from those who ran this place before you." Ashi explained to Captain Fury. He looked back and forth for a moment between the two other in the room and sigh scratching the back of his head. Black fingernails slipped through the loose sleeves of his garments to scratching lightly at his noggin. darkness under his eyes showed lack of sleep and a thin body showed either male nutrition or a light diet. He let his arm back down and then spoke again.
"Well if that is all, there is always paperwork to read or something to do. Is there anything else you need captain?" Ashi asked ..... For I've seen your moves.

A light smile passed over Raimundo's lips as he was embraced. He wasn't used to such emotion, but it could be expected from her. Emotion and ones imagination go hand in hand, he's found. Raimundo light her slide away from him as he put his hand on her head. "Just could you please deliver this to the Head Captain.?" a moment later, The Third Seat of Squad Twelve entered the Lab. He was a smallish boy, and quite interesting to say the least. Raimundo has seen many people, but His Third seat was special. Emotional in his own way, Raimundo speculated. And when he commented on Raimundo's work, Raimundo could only get a little irritated.
"Ashi... You know my own personal Archives far exceed that which you could access. And I have had 760 years to read all the archives twice. There just isn't enough information on the Energy patterns of an Arrancar. Hollow are just barely intelligent beasts wielding a power they know almost nothing about. We can't just take a Hollow and expect to be able to control its Reiatsu. We need something with High Sentient Intelligence like you or I to be able to truly understand it. I would need an Arrancar. But I don't know enough about them. Soul Society hasn't seen very many of them, and Squad 12 hasn't studied one enough. I have this little sucker right here." He finished, showing the little test-tube like capsule to Ashi. "This little device is like a DNA tester for Reiatsu. If I can get close enough to an Arrancar, I can get a reading that should display enough information for me to duplicate it. Science is only Science if you can calculate every aspect. Until then, it is no more than religious theory."
Raimundo looked back at his computer. "Ashi, I want you to go with Zhi to the Head Captain's office. You could explain it better than her." He was then silent.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Ashi let out a smirk hearing all the details of the newest invention. The tube glowed in Ashi's gray hue in his eyes. Needless to say his face lit up like a child offered a toy or piece of candy. He didn't care to get yelled at in fact mental and physical torment were appealing to regardless if he was receiving or delivery.
"Kehehehehe! How wonderful. Maybe this can help with my plans to make a virus that can target these creatures directly. The problem is Hallow reiatsu is not far from the human full bringers. As long as there is a one percent difference I can really home in on I can make something quite deadly." Ashi said.
The shinigami then bowed when he was given new orders.
"A stroll around the block then. I understand from what little I heard you two talking about by the door. You want a live specimen for analyzing all the details of that lovely flow of power. When you're done captain I would be curious to see notes on how that technique called cero works exactly. There are records of some using specialized energy used way back in the day by espada during the karakura incident. It would be lovely to find one of my own and really get a good look while they lay on my table only to watch my scalpels cut into them...... Ooops, getting talkative here." Ashi said.
He excused himself to his captain with a traditional bow once again. He skipped swishing his arms back and forth back to the door. He stopped turned to the lieutenant.
"Leave the fancy talk to me miss Zhi. I know how you get with this stuff sometimes. I'll be waiting outside the door for you get me when you're ready." Ashi said he bowed once more to both people other than himself. He turned on his heel sticking his left leg up to use his right as a pivot to turn 180 degrees facing the door. He stepped out and let the door close behind him. ..... For I've seen your moves.

She put her head into the table as she listened to them talk. She took the top and started to spin it and smiled. She pulled out a toy dog from her robes and had it chase after the top. Then Raimundo told Ashi to go with her to the Head Captain. She let out a sigh and took the toys and put them in her robes. She grabbed the papers. "Fine. Let's go Ashi." She said. Zhi started walking and looked at him when they came out. "How is it you guys can understand this stuff? It makes no sense a majority of the time. Even though Hallows are evil, they were people and isn't it a bit mean to experiment on them?" She asked as the two walked. She pulled out her toy and looked at it. At times she wondered why they couldn't live in peace but the Hallows hurt the humans and that was the issue.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Before they walked away from the door Ashi listened to the lieutenant inquire to the motives set forth.
"Evil? Hmmmmm.... I think it is more natural desires they attack humans and ourselves. You have to think the stronger the soul the more nourishment the hallow will get. I have speculations however that after reaching arrancar status and obtaining a humanoid appearance they do not need to eat souls as much as they have before. They've obtained a power which exceeds the craving for food in the form of souls. The details after the hallow's menos grande level are very hazy. And the fact each soul turned into a hallow has abilities very unique to another hallow. They are as vast and different as any other race and yet a dangerous enemy. If the Hallow and their more powerful counterparts can leave us alone there will be no need for this."
"This is a war which will last all eternity I'm sure. In such wars it is wise to know more about your enemy than yourself. This is the gray area us in the science division aren't afraid to step into. This is how us and the living world are going to survive." Ashi explained. His mind didn't dwell on right or wrong there was only the advancement in his own intellect and becoming that much closer to answering things plaguing his mind for years. He produced a wooden pipe from his sleeve which seemed to have already been stuffed with tobacco.
"Lead the way lieutenant don't want Captain Fury to wait all that long. I'm sure he is anxious to get started. I know I am." Ashi continued. He lit the tobacco with a box of matches he pulled from his sleeve as well. Puffing at the pipe momentarily before getting a good drag from the burning tobacco leaves. He exhaled and began to step away from the door.

"I know. But if the leader is lazy, why haven't they gain a new leader? but that could be a good thing. And if we want to fight arrancar, we need to be able the hollows better. But the issue that is going to be is the fact on how to catch a hallow? That's going to be the fun part." She said as she put the dog back into her robe. Then she saw the pipe and made a face. She never like the idea of smoking in any way. It was a nasty habit to her. "If we were still human, I would complain on how bad that is for you. But it takes alot to kill us in the natural way." She said. "As for captain, he will wait for as long as he needs to for us to get a answer on if his experiment to be approve." She said as they headed off. (exit)
