Squad Lab
___About:
Ashi favorite place next to his own personal lab. The size of the room matches that of a large gymnasium. However the lab is cluttered with bodies of bustling scientists and science lab devices. connected to the main science room are several other labs for seated officers and experiments needing special room conditions.

 Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Ashi busted the doors open in somewhat of a frenzy. He was puffing wildly at his long wooden pipe.
"Hey, set up the experimental pressure device. The spiritual displacement band was shattered." Ashi commanded a few scientists nearby. The arm band was broken when set to withstand pressures of the strongest hallows to the records Ashi is allowed to. If he was going to do this he had to increase his own energy. This device was powered by the input of one's reiryoku which it stored for until it was turned on.
The device was originally used to test the strength of live specimen that were turned over to the twelfth division. However they found those who were surviving the treatment were in fact getting stronger. The device is experimental since it was turned over to improve reiryoku pressure instead. The idea for this project was Ashi's, who saw potential in the old machine for such an occasion.Thing is most the science division members who try this wind up dead the others were wounded and refused to ever go back in before finishing the amount thought to increase power.
"For improvement we turn to science. Set the machine to three and increase it slowly from there. Don't stop till I when alright?!" Ashi shouted. A division member came up to Ashi looking concerned over something.
"Sir does this have to do with that spiritual energy? We felt it all the way over here." The man in a white lab coat said.
"I was in that room and it broke my device, I don't like to repeat myself." Ashi explained simply. The man bowed and ran off to set up a device set up on the wall. It looked like a shower tub but much larger and no shower head.
Thick fiber glass with scratch marks on the inside from people trying to escape. He was going to delve into this world of warriors and stray from his desk a bit more. Third seat was a number based on his intelligence and the knowledge he retained from his studies. Ashi removed his outer layers of clothing until he was down to a pair of black boxer shorts. The sound of lord knows what clanked when he tossed his uniform to the ground. His body had scars across the muscle tissue from needles and scalpels. He walked in without delay with determined look in his eye and toothy grin on his face.
He looked thin, pale, all one would expect from a science division member. He did show signs of muscle enhancement and was built for a thin guy but was nothing to show off either. The device started the moment he closed the door behind him. What the other in the room just noticed is Ashi's Zanpakutou went inside with him. Ashi sat on the ground and placed his zanpakutou in front of him. He simply laced his fingers together and placed his hands resting in his lap.
the current pressure was that similar to his own or someone slightly more attune to throwing their energy around. Ashi pointed upward telling those outside the glass to slowly bring it up some more. While they did Ashi looked around the containment facility and the marks from who knows what being thrown in here and desperately trying to escape. At this level now Ashi can feel a pressure close to his own body weight on his shoulders. He cringed and simply clenched his teeth in response to that. His own reiatsu began to slowly leak from his back and shoulder slowly starting to surround his body.
The gray aura danced like a soft burning of a small controlled fire seeming to relax the tension from the device. As they slowly turned the dial Ashi's energy was being pushed as they now at pressure level 6 doubling from three. The pressure can be turned up to twenty five before the machine itself implodes. Ashi's body began to sink some and breathing was getting difficult. His eyes were shut now trying to concentrate. While struggling and for once in a long time pushing his body physically to withstand more than he is use to. While he struggled a voice called out to him from his sword. "Oh dear, are you getting stronger? You actually are getting out from behind a desk? This is delightful!"..... For I've seen your moves. ((To be continued in the next training post.))

(( I waited 24 hour gonna cut the training short and save my spot to get Ashi back in the story.)) Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette.....
Ashi looked up to see his sword emitting the same reiatsu as well.
"Hello clown face. Gonna get stronger to analyze powerful beings up close. I don't care for learning the spells and fancy sword work but will use my devices and the lovely poisons you offer." Ashi said. Inakamono Tenma then appeared grinning at Ashi floating above the sword that lay sheathed. All the while the pressure was slowly going up. Inakamono Tenma is a creepy looking spirit sporting a wicked grin on an all but faded black looking face. His skin and clothing all blackish gray only the yellow eye gave contrast to the monotone apparel of the spirit. With no legs under it he seemingly levitated in the air as if legs were in fact there.
"You keep this up I might share more than the two moves we've already learned together." The spirit said.
"If I remember correctly you dragged me into the blade and introduced your poison into my blood for the first time. Left me in a cloud of that black smog for an hour...... It was truly vial and exhilarating......" Ashi said. More would've been said but there was a knock at the class and the pressure was shut off.
((End Training))
The door flew open and one of the scientist spoke quickly.
"Sir! Captain Fury has begun battle with espada. We have visual running now from the barrier strong points." The lab member reported. Ashi watched Inakamono Tenma vanish above the sword in which Ashi grabbed it in a hurry and ran out of the tube. He pulled his cloths into his arm and ran to the large multi screen setup of the different view points from the fight. He got dressed quickly while watching the different screens flashing before him. The majority of the fighting seemed to be going on in some sort of orb of blackness. He raised an eyebrow at the fight going on usually he would be ecstatic to see three different espada/arrancar but he couldn't see most of the movements.
"Are we not running the readings of the reiatsu going on here?! Why are we not using the program the captain sent down to us?!" Ashi shouted.
The scientist at the screen smiled meekly in response.
"The program is giving us trouble we know how to run it for one level at a time to run now two different hostiles battling is a bit more difficult." The scientist said. Ashi responded by pushing the man out of the chair and throwing on his own headset used to communicate with other division members on battle field. Sitting where the other scientist was he began running his finger across the keyboard like a well calculated machine. what was once a paper printing one level of spiritual pressure was now not only measuring now two pressures in current battle but also the reiatsu used in attacks and frequency of energy.
These number would not be precise because Ashi wasn't there in person. He was hacking the devices on the battlefield in order to get these multiple readings and had to constantly adjust or switch to other devices to get this to work at all. Ashi kept his eyes on the screen while clicked and clacked at the keys. The other science members were in awe for a moment as the computer spewed readings in the form of printed paper.
"Stop standing there and run these numbers damn it! We need to send in some nullification field probes through the gate. Open the experimental gate and send them through on the coordinates we got here. We need to try and distort or completely nullify that technique of darkness going on here! MOVE!" Ashi demanded never looking away from the screens. You could tell he was upset do to the anger vein pumping and his eye brow twitching in irritation.
"I may not be there in person but I can see you! Little creatures so elusive and now here. I would love to take a scalpel to that curvy espada lady." Ashi would make random comments while typing away to run new vantage points on trying to get proper readings. The best readings would come from being there which Captain Fury was mor than likely doing from this angle Ashi could compare levels in case a live specimen couldn't be captured. While he did this the others around the area were doing there own work. It had been awhile since such an event had the lab this lively at one time. ..... For I've seen your moves.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Squad 12 Position: Vice Captain Zanpakuto: Ooze-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Zhi skipped into the office and saw the chaos the others were doing. "Study Study Study. Of course that's what happens when there is a fight. Ashi! You gotta calm down before someone gets hurt!" She said in a sing-song voice as she walked over to him. Zhi put her teddy in his arms and smiled. "Holding Mr. Fluffy calms me down. Maybe you should do the same too! Hey! I can get you your own Mr. Fluffy! Yay! I'll do that!" She said with a smile. Zhi grabbed a chair and sat down. Zhi looked closely at the computer screen and watched the battle play out. Unlike the others who study the battle for science, she studied to learn to be a better Fighter. Watching the Captain's movements helped her learn because they were the best fighter in the squads. Plus since it seemed to be a new enemy, it would be best for Zhi to see how they fight so they could find a way to defeat them. "Ashi-chan, please have a video of this be recorded for records. If this is a new enemy, we as Squad 12 should keep it on records. Okay?" She said with a smile.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Ashi was pissed when Zhi entered the lab. She fallowed in one of the scientists that Ashi remembered taking the very chair from he is now sitting in. He was upset because he had to cancel the idea for the probes. Once he got the readings on the reiryoku levels being thrown around the room he had no choice but to call off the attempt to help from afar. The best they could do is exhaust all their options to track the battle and record every bit of data they could. When the lieutenant started to speak in sing song while skipping Ashi could only sigh in response.
He looked relaxed but his hands kept clicking and his eyes glance from each vantage point from afar. The video feed they had was fixed positions at the edge of the barrier. They can zoom in and use technology to let them get readings on energy levels to a ruff degree. Other than that this was all they could get the fact the recording was possible is the work of multiple squads working at once and the ok to test these creatures of wonder and power.
Ashi's thoughts were interrupted by Zhi dropping a stuffed creature in his lap.
"Mr. Fluffy? Can I get a Mr. Stabey instead I'll call him Rippy mc. Ttabber the Third." Ashi mused. He was trying to get good feed on the energy being tossed around but by this point the readings they got was all he could get. The attacks done destroyed much of the area leaving electrical devices to tap to a fine none.
They could only get different readings at different points unaware of exactly which espada causes the reading. They could only watch the screen and learn from afar trying to match the attacks with whatever reading they get.
Ashi then heard after a few moments of silence to record the match they were seeing.
"It was started before I could even get here each man and woman in the squad has strict orders to capture and record all data possible on arrancar and espada alike. We need to run the info on these numbers and report it to the head honcho." Ashi said speaking of captain Matsubara. Ashi pet the teddy bears head with one hand and with the other would type of few things every once in awhile to zoom in or out on a screen or refresh the readings on new attacks. He had it set to record the strongest power on the field with the closet hallow related reiatsu. This was recorded via codded numbers on a long sheet of paper that would continually print out new codes which could be deciphered. ..... For I've seen your moves.

"You even hurt Mr. Fluffy, I will kill you." She said. Some of the scientist near her scooted away from her. She looked back at the TV. "Does anyone have anything to eat?" She asked aloud for people. After a couple of seconds, a scientist came over with a bag of cookies. I made them myself. And it's Chocolate. I some for as many I as I could." Zhi smiled as she took them. "Thank you!" She said as she started to nimble on one. "Good. When the fight is over, I'm going to go to the Head Captain myself with the data he has and see if he has a name for them. It would be best to ask him and see what he would want us to do since he is Head Captain." Zhi said with a smile. yeah, she would go to her own captain but she saw some of these guys when she was at the Head Captain's office. So this was a issue to talk to the Head about. Zhi ate the cookies as she watched.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... Ashi cackled at the threat from Lieutenant Zhi not because he didn't believe her but she was so scary it sent a chill up his spine. For some reason this guy seemed to relish in the feelings of pain and fear and would sometimes throw himself into harm to test his bodies durability and his own sick kicks. However death was nothing he wished to experience so he simply place the stuffed creature back into Zhi's lap.
"Kehehehe scary, scary. I can review this footage at a more opportune time. For the moment I'll assist in figuring out these energy levels. They aren't exact since we didn't have the time to prepare properly but it's a good estimate. From there I can run algorithms to get the most solid numbers consisting of the energies being emitted." Ashi explained. He knew well Lieutenant Chen didn't care for such things but she was the superior officer.
Ashi turned to start helping but the scientist had already translated the numbers and had the estimates Ashi was striving for earlier. Ashi scanned the paper and his eyes widened.
"Are you saying these numbers are correct? They haven't even activated their ressureccion? This means the potential reaitsu from these espada are at least on par with a captain. And I emphasize at least. I estimate they at least double that of a lieutenant. If they spike up their reiatsu much more the devices will suffer overload." Ashi spoke more tom himself than anyone. He knew these were the right readings and the battle has yet to escalate to their true powers.
Ashi slid back into the chair and began to type away furiously for a moment, no more than a few seconds. Then he waited perfectly still with his hands floating over the buttons of the keyboard before him. His eyes didn't turn from the screens as if he was waiting for something. ..... For I've seen your moves.

She started to zone out as she ate the cookies. She studied each move that was made. Then she saw the worst. Their Captain taking a sword though him. She dropped everything and didn't move. "He's dead...." She said. "Ashi....our captain is dead.' She said. What was odd, no tears were flowing from her eyes. Not a bit of sadness either. It was just shock. Some of the ones there saw her in this mode after he step-brother died. It was the next day she went into her now child-like behavior. Zhi just stared at the screen in front of her.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai 3rd seat Dance for me marionette..... As the espada fighting captain Fury released his power Ashi typed like a madman with a sugar overdose. Fingers typed at a blur and although Ashi was constantly revising the equipment to stay in tact the screens blinked for the power released and the machine running the numbers or the reiatsu level began to surge. Ashi saw the espada charge and expected his captain to intercept the attacker with a swift slice or one of those lovely attacks his bankai throws out. However the espada defied physics and was able to go from full sprint forward at sonido speeds to sprinting backwards at the same speed. Ashi stopped typing as he watched his captain take a blow causing physical trauma. The espada seemed to take the advantage of Captain Fury's openings. Yes not just one hit but multiple vitals were beaten and tore into.
Ashi watched stunned and unmoving as the division twelve symbol was dyed in blood as his captain fell lifeless on the screen. Ashi was heart broken to say the least. The only other mind on this whole place dedicated to science and obsession over the unknown and unanswered. The only scientific mind in this whole dump that Ashi could respect was just slaughtered in moments.
"Tsk." He sucked against his teeth looking disturbed or worried now. This was not a good situation this is far from ideal in anyway. Who would lead this place now? It's not like any strong shinigami from sereitei can waltz in to the captain spot and be accepted. The one in the lead must be the smartest as well as the strongest in the division.
Ashi stood up not wanting to read the numbers as he was now. Anger confusion and worry all ran through his mind at once and this wasn't a feeling he was use to. Ashi stood from the chair he was grinning wildly, shaking from shock and tears rolled down his cheshire glare.
"Oh dear I seem to have had more respect for that man than I seemed to recall." Ashi looked through misty eyes at other members they also were mourning in their own respective way. All he could say to reply to the equally stunned lieutenant is.
"I know he's dead. I think things would've been different if I was there to call the oncoming attacks to him. This data the final attack is vital info the captain gave his life for." Ashi said somber.
"I've got experiments to continue. We must keep the projects going otherwise we will all end up like that. Finish crunching the numbers we must send in that report with no delay. Our enemies can slay captain level shinigami with speed alone apparently." Ashi told the other members of the squad. They all knew there jobs but in times like this someone needs to remind them why they are shinigami and scientists. He looked down at his sword strapped to his right thigh.
"Inakamono Tenma, we need to have a conversation about our future." After speaking to his blade Ashi began to walk to his old captain's lab.[/c ..... For I've seen your moves. ((Exit to Captain's laboratory.))

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai Captain Dance for me marionette..... ((Been three days since my last post here. I know once again double posting but I have to move the story along and waited three days for nightmare to post)) Ashi walked in with the body of Captain Fury. For the moment he had his surges stabilized. The other members looked on with heavy hearts seeing a body. On most occasions this would be no big spectacle but the body of their captain was another story of the matter.
"Clear a table, get this man cleaned up. Captain commander announced a funeral in ten days. Take your time to mourn after we have done our work." Ashi commanded.
A stretcher was brought out quickly by other members. Once the jacket was removed from his face Ashi began analyzing the wounds along side the other members. The work was solemn and not much was being said other than reports on the wound given. While they did this Ashi brought up a tv display of the fight when Captain Fury was killed. They replayed the video at slower speed to see each sword stroke and stab delivered. Ashi grit his teeth watching how it all happened. The first blow to the shoulders penetrated through his reiryoku field and disabled his ability to use spells or defend.
For some reason even after the death blow the espada stabbed the captain after death not once but multiple times. Ashi's anger began to fluster and so did his temporary control on his reiatsu.
"Record everything and light some incense. For those of you who pray do so for those of you who don't pray anyway. I'm your captain from now on we will carry on the original idea to gather all info on espada." Ashi said. People around the room kept falling over from the fluctuation in spiritual pressure.
"I'll be outside if you need me I have to deal with something." Ashi then left the scientists to do whatever they wished. ..... For I've seen your moves.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai Captain Dance for me marionette..... Ashi kicked the main entrance door open looking at all the white lab coats run about. His face was a mad grin a toothy sharp smile from ear to ear, enough to make the Cheshire Cat jealous.
"Did we get some people out there? You know gates don't leave clues for long. we need to decipher where it leads and how it is done. There have been some events that make this event very interesting." Ashi spoke loud and calmly to the scientists in the room. Ashi quickly made his way to the main computer and leaned over the scientist typing away in his chair. Ashi was glaring at the readings with a bit of surprise in his eyes. These levels excel that of the other readings from the last group.
"Make sure these readings are the most accurate we can get. It's brief but promising." Ashi snapped a head set laying next to the keyboard.
"Oi, you there yet? I'm sure someone heard what will happen if I got here....." Ashi mused. Instantly he got an answer that made him at ease.
"Yes sir. We are analyzing the remnants of spiritual distortion now. In time we will know where they were heading, but we won't be able to pursue." A voice replied.
"Do not attempt pursuit those orders are to be given by Fury of squad zero or the commander. Gather intelligence and we may be able to recreate a similar gate at our own will. Be quick, secretive and make sure your reiatsu nullification barrier is in order so you are not detected do not be seen. Do this right and I'll stay out of the kitchen and not mess with your food." Ashi said plainly. An aura of grim could be seen off the others in the room. The idea of Ashi getting near the cooking made them worried.
"Oi, by the way our captain's body is gonna get a visit from his brother. When you see the captain of squad zero enter you guys can take a break. Clear the lab for a bit so he can have his moment." Ashi announced. the room had a feeling of happiness. It wasn't often they could clear the lab and do as they please. Most were probably going to stay inside.
"Ah, but we have field work to do so we will need full attention on these matters. The courtyard as you know is in shambles gather plant growth hormones and traffic up some soil to fix the damages. So I would like that done quickly and to make up for the time lost you best stop listening to me and get working double time." Ashi continued.
The room broke in a bustle everyone working on the tasks they were best at. Several scientists went to the doors to work on the courtyard as well.
Ashi sat down at a station off to the side with what looked like a metal pad. placing the device on the table a holographic screen appeared with a three dimensional layout of the area around the Senkaimon Gate. Ashi decided three spots around the area would suffice. A triangular formation appeared in an area in front of his miniature model. Ashi would be seen doing this alone answering questions as they came to him. But otherwise they were dismissed quickly allowing Ashi to work. ..... For I've seen your moves.

Division Zero Captain

Lloyd entered the lab to find that everyone there was running around and seemingly working vigorously. It seemed like chaos, but in truth it was organized chaos. Lloyd continued to follow the orb as it finally came to a stop next to Captain Ashi. Lloyd offered the Captain but a slight bow before speaking "Captain Ashi, it would seem that things have gotten worst over the past few hours" Lloyd always seemed to keep a professional manner while in the 13 courts. He always spoke in a business like manner and never seemed to move off track of current matters. He wasn't one for small talk while on duty and so remains serious and calm at all times. As he stood there with his eyes on Captain Ashi, one wouldn't even notice him there if they hadn't seen him in the first place. He wasn't giving off much spiritual pressure at all. It would seem like if he were just another unseated member but this of course was not the case. Lloyd then placed his right palm under his chin and stroked his chin twice before speaking again "Would this be because of that activity you mentioned earlier?" Lloyd said in a stern but not commanding voice.

Ashi Sousakuryoku - Jūnibantai Captain Dance for me marionette..... Ashi showed a big gleaming smile when Captain Fury entered. Listening to his words Ashi nodded.
"Yes other than the energies detected from Ninja Captain of squad twelve with his run in of the super power arrancar, I'm getting two or three distressed readings from lower level hallows. Their energies are fading slowly but they seem immobile. Right now my team is analyzing the energies. I plan to investigate the other matters after speaking with you." Ashi walked towards the center of the large laboratory shortly after speaking. There was a large what looked to be an oval container with a wooden bottom and glass top.
Inside the oval pod was Raimundo Fury's body. Considering the brutal fashion of his death he looked good for a body. The missing parts were sewn on and the scratches and wounds were dressed and hidden under an all black shinigami uniform. Around the body were black flowers with large pedals to cover the smell and decorate the soldier in respect. The eyes were closed gently and the body's expression was stoic and peaceful. It was obvious work was done but the overall completion of the prep for funeral was a top notch job.
"The readings left behind from the power Squad two captain came across also had left over frequencies of the portal used. As things excel to more dire situations in Sereitei, Karakura town has a lot of activity also. The gate has me nervous, there has never been a case of it opening without the hand of someone else. The problem is we know both sides lead to our little realm and the living world. However there is endless possibilities of other doors. I think someone was checking to see if our door opens. There is much and much work to accommodate these issues." Ashi simply looked at the former captain when speaking. ..... For I've seen your moves.

Division Zero Captain

Lloyd walked over to the Glass dome and stood next to Ashi while he let his eyes scan over his Brothers body from head to toe, all the while keeping his expression of calm and his air of seriousness. He raised his hand to touch the glass dome but he stopped half way and lowered his hand back to his side deciding not to touch it. He then spoke to Ashi with out taking his eyes off his brother "Tell me Captain Ashi, how is it that one would open the Gate without a Zanpakutou? Is that even possible? if it isn't then we have to think of two possibilities. One being that we have a traitor among us and the other being we have someone out there with a Zanpakutou who isn't a part of the 13 courts " Lloyd then gripped his hilt more tightly before continuing to speak, his voice seeming a little louder, but he wasn't shouting "However, that would be good news..........because if there is someone else out there that can access the gate without a Zanpakutou, it could spell more trouble for us" Lloyd then let it a smug grin form on his face as he continued to gaze at his brothers lifeless body and let a soft few words escape his lips "Laying down doesn't suit you brother...........you didn't have anything to prove...you know that....right? The limiter symbol was a thistle of an olive green color on Ashi's right hand. It was seen for but a moment before his sleeve covered it once again. Ashi upheld what the thistle stood for To be independent, strict in self advancement and vengeful. Ashi was ready for action and hopefully a result or two towards finding the original attackers on his former captain. His upper body swung about carelessly by the desk he pulled the suitcase from. He wobbled almost drunk looking before stepping off.
