The Post Office Forum Rules and Guidelines


The Post Office forum is a place where you can leave suggestions on how to improve this guild, as well as a place to propose future events and contests to be sponsored by the guild itself and its crew. In other words, if you feel you will need the crew's help to run your event or contest, this is the place to place your suggestion.

You can also leave your opinions about the guild here, and in the future, this may also be the place for Q&A and support. For now, use it to make suggestions on how to make this place more enjoyable for yourselves and the other members.

Following will be the rules of this subforum, which you are expected to follow. Be sure to read up on them.

General Rules

The Gaian Terms of Service and Rules and Guidelines always apply, no matter where you are on this site.

When you post, try to be civil. This is a guild we are running here, and we will not tolerate troublemakers. I shouldn't have to tell you to behave yourself.

That means:
- no trolling
- no flaming
- no material considered over PG-13
(this includes excessively violent, crude, sexual, or generally offensive material)
- no spam
- no mini-modding


If you feel a violation has been committed, contact a crew member. Do not take matters into your own hands.

Topics for discussion in this forum include, but are not limited too:
- contest or event ideas
- reorganization
- subforum additions
- aesthetic changes
- guild issues
- questions, concerns, etc.

If you are suggesting contest or event ideas, please use the form found in the Suggestion Box sticky and post it there. (Or the one right there. It's the same thing.)

Feel free to make a thread for your suggestions if it does not involve a contest or event, or if you feel your suggestion may be overlooked in the sticky. We apologize in advance if we do not get to your suggestion. We cannot read every new post at once.

Since this is a forum for suggestion, there will be many differing opinions here. However, if someone's opinion differs from yours and you would like to express that, please do it in a civil manner. Don't go about saying to everyone with a different opinion "UR OPINION IZ SO STUPID U SHUD SHUTUP NO1 CARES" or anything degrading and just plain mean like that. This is a place for discussion, not war. You are expected to follow the Terms of Service no matter where on Gaia you are.

This is a suggestion forum for the Guild not for users. Therefore, DO NOT make suggestions like "User X should be removed b/c reason" or "I don't like User Z" or anything of the sort. The Guild is a place to unite people, so don't complain about anyone here. If you have an issue with a member, take it up with them. Do not waste a crew member's time unless it is serious.

Other Notes

Again, if you a suggesting events or contests so major that you feel you will need the crew's help to run it (holiday events, things you think we should run anyway), this is where you suggest such events or contests. If you feel you can run your own event, contest, etc. without our support (much like the way the hangouts in that respective forum are run) then feel free to post it in the appropriate forum.

To reiterate: FEEL FREE TO CREATE YOUR OWN EVENTS! We are not Aekea's night team. You don't have to ask us for permission to do every single little thing you may want to do in this guild. If you need our help, we will gladly assist you in this forum.

Your friendly neighborhood crew members for this forum are n o i r i s t and Arcueil of Huron. They are the appropriate crew members to address if you have any questions about creating events and such.

If you suggest I make these sort of announcements for all of the subforums, I will have to decline. There are more knowledgeable people in charge of the other subforums who beat me to it are much more capable than I. I'm doing this for three reasons: because I can, because I'm a Vice Captain, and because Arc has plenty on her plate already.
