Pomona hadn’t encountered any agents of Chaos since that night. Just as well too, as she wasn’t sure what her reaction to them should be anymore. Her fellow White Moon peers were in disagreement over what was the right approach, and now she herself was unsure. Some had advocated diplomacy, and at the time Pomona was forced to admit that she had never really tried that route. Then of course came her re-encounter with DMC Sailor Leto, who she had tried to talk to, only to get beaten up for her efforts. Granted, Leto had a good reason to hate her, but she suspected Leto would’ve gone beyond a mere smack down if it hadn’t been for the timely interruption by Polaris. And that didn’t seem right.
When Pomona sensed a lower-level Chaos signature that night, she tried a different approach. Not very stealthy on a good day – the various accents and decorations of her outfit jingled and jangled too much – she didn’t even try to be quiet, clacking across the metal roof of a warehouse. She figured that if they didn’t want to fight, she was giving them a chance to run.
Reaching the edge of the roof, Pomona poked her head over the side and peered down below.
“ ‘ello?”
Being polite(ish) was another tactic she’d try, that way she could at least say she, you know, tried it.

Realgar froze, just for a minute, before turning toward the sound of the voice and glaring upward at the sound of the voice with levels of suspicion that could be weaponized under the right circumstances. He was standing over a motorcycle with the plates wrapped up in something, and there was a smudge of dirt across his cheekbone. He stood defensively over the bike, more as though he owned it than as if he were trying to steal it, but ultimately the conclusion was the viewers to make. He was a Lieutenant after all.
"...I think you missed the recruitment drive." It was a taunt and he meant it as such. The Senshi had to be smarting from their losses. "But I can put in a good word for you, Sparkles."
It wasn't as easy to draw an nasty nickname for her as it was for some senshi, but the night was long. Longer than her skirt anyway. Who the hell sent kids out to war dressed like that anyway?

“ Recr- !” She began incredulously, then rubbed a hand over her face as she tried to calm herself. “ Your lot recruit zombies then? Because I’m pretty sure Leto was trying to kill me. Not the best recruitment pitch, that.”
And yeah, Pomona was still recovering from the horror of that night. She’d known some of those people, and perhaps not well, but well enough to mourn their deaths and corruptions. And to realize that they could’ve been people she did know well.
“ I’m not sure how killing my peers is supposed to entice me. Especially when just before you all showed up, some of us had been advocating a diplomatic approach. Hard to see the merits of nonviolence with you killing us.”
It was true. She wasn’t exactly a pacifist, but she didn’t attack just for fun; there had to be a reason. She also didn’t try to kill enemies, just disable them and/or make them retreat. It was an approach she suspected most of her peers shared, but was it the right one? Morally maybe, but tactically? That night seemed proof to the contrary.
But speaking of reasons… “ That your bike?”
It didn’t seem too bright to go patrolling on your own civilian vehicles since they could potentially be traced back to you, which was why Pomona was suspicious.

"Hell sunshine, if I ran into you, I'd have probably been trying to kill you too." He admitted, as though this were a topic of casual conversation. "And vice versa last time I checked. You're the lunatics who had a ******** grade schooler try and set me on ******** fire for being at the ******** race track."
Granted he'd been gathering energy, but no one had goddamn DIED. They had ******** up priorities, Senshi did. And he was still pretty sore about the hotfoot.
He gave her a dry, unpleasant smile as he added. "Besides sparkles, I'm just a poor little foot soldier, followin' orders."
Even that first night, he'd technically been doing what he'd been told. He kept reminding himself of that and sometimes it helped. He just wouldn't admit to the enemy that he ever had the slightest shred of doubt. Not if he could help it.
"Yeah it's mine." Might as well admit it. He didn't want attacked on theory of theft, they were pretty sanctimonious, but then he also didn't want her going for the plates. She could track him down if she did it and got away. "Staying that way too."

“ Following orders? I think there’s a saying about everyone jumping off bridges that applies.”
Pomona said, massaging her temples. The Nega’s statement about a grade schooler seemed suspiciously familiar, and it she was likely to get a headache if her suspicious were correct, so she’d made a pre-emptive strike against her potential headache. Still, she had to know.
" That, ah, grade schooler. How’d she look?”
If Lenka had tried to set someone on fire, even a Nega, so help her, she might have to take a paddle to her Chibi “Captain”.
“ Most Senshi don't kill. There are... unfortunate exceptions,” she winced, remembering the Blood Moon Court that had lost their way, eventually falling to Chaos and becoming the DMC,“ but most don’t. I’ve never tried to kill anyone. I only fight as long and hard as necessary to make you all stop whatever the heck you’re doing at the time; draining innocent civilians, corrupting my peers, stealing…” the last part she said rather pointedly.

"... b***h, I've met the results of your 'exceptions' and I am NOT ******** stupid enough to pass you my license to check." He bristled at this. He'd seen the haunted look left over from the BMC, the same things that made them excellent allies made them terrifying enemies.
"...It was a boy." He added, still angry and suspicious. There was a girl too? "You people are some kind of messed up. You're bringing KIDS into a war. Are their parents just that shitty that they either let them out or don't notice?" He accused. "We aren't torturing people, branding them, putting peoples kids in danger.... Lady the worst you can pin on me is making a few guys turn in before they had their fourth beer."
Except for the two boys. But they'd had it coming. They had. They were as bad as the BMC, trying to torture animals for fun.
"You may not kill but you're sure as hell responsible for a lot of ruined lives. And we aren't the ones running the goddamn Children's crusade. You know how that ended, right?"

The most likely way to get this Nega to see the truth – explaining the White Moon side’s structure, or lack thereof, thus further expounding upon their weaknesses to an enemy – was not an option. That meant they’d be arguing in circles until either one of them attacked, or left.
“ I- fine. This is getting us nowhere. I’ll keep an eye out for a firebug Chibi. And yes, there’s a girl Chibi, and yes, she’s probably just as bad.” She said, omitting the fact that she knew more then just two Chibis. “ Result of waking dormant magic powers in kids, I suspect.”
Because Senshi weren’t made, they were awakened. Pomona didn’t agree with Chibi Senshi being awakened, but she couldn’t stop the Guardian Cats, so she comforted herself with the fact that the cats weren’t taking random children off the street and giving them magic powers. No, these children were Senshi already, just inactive and unfortunately young.
“ I’d rather see proof of ownership, but as I can see how that might be tricky, how ‘bout you just start it up. You have the key, yes?”
Not like that was a foolproof way of determining ownership, but it’d have to do.

"Seriously..." Senshi were so... honestly did they gain a ten ton load of morality police when they powered up? Pretty hilarious from a bunch of terrorists. Interesting (and kind of upsetting) to know that there were more armed children. He wondered if they even considered how much worse that made them look.
"You honestly want me to start the bike."
She was basically giving him an open pass to the road, but whatever. He pulled the key out and spun it around his finger for a second, before moving to straddle the bike and kick the engine into life with a thundering growl.
"Satisfied?"

“ It’ll have to do.”
For all she knew he could’ve stolen the keys, but she had no way to prove that. She was treading a fine line with this Senshi cop act, and she’d done all she could without crossing said line.
“ I can’t prove that you’re doing anything wrong, so much as I may not like it, I’ve got no reason to stop you.” Pomona crossed her arms over her chest. “ I can’t speak for all Senshi, and words seem to be worthless anyway, so hopefully my actions will speak for themselves.”
With that Pomona gave a slight bow – shallow and cautious, but not mocking – and left, trotting back the way she came.
