Many moons ago in the fallen kingdom Parcia, a cursed knight was lain to rest. His name was Corvo, a man tasked to slay the mage-cults who threatened the peace of his once-homeland. Gifted with the vampiric sword Isendter, he did just that, but things were never so simple as one could wish. Swelled on the blood of the slain magi, Isendter craved more power for itself and set its mortal companion upon the Parcian peoples against his will. Corvo became an instrument of massacre and even marched upon the castle, felling all the guards and footmen that mustered in the royal family's defense. The king and his warrior-queen were killed fending off their former champion, but their daughter, a girl of no more than 17 escaped the castle and sought out revenge against the man.
The princess was gone for over a year, though there were none alive in Parcia to welcome her should she ever return. She did though, and with an army of magi at her back, set herself against the infamous blood knight. The man himself could not control his actions and that was known to an extent. The princess fought against the sword rather than the man, focusing her own cursed sword, a blade of sealing, on the weapon which had glutted itself with the blood of her noble line. Corvo was a stronger man however, which Isendter used to its advantage. The princess was overpowered and slain, but not before she enacted vengeance upon the cursed weapon, sealing it at last with her words of power.
The sword's power was sheathed by her magic and Corvo, ill used and beyond reckoning for his crimes, beseeched the mages to grant him his final rest. The surviving magi pitied the man who had once been their executioner, knowing that fate had twisted him and the justice the Parcia had sought against their kind. The mages did as best they could to put the knight out of his misery, putting him into a magical slumber. Since that time a large tomb had been built around the ruined castle, all the casualties of those dark days put to rest within. It is here that Corvo slept alongside his sword, prisoners for all eternity.
In the wake of Parcia's destruction a town was raised just outside the tomb. The people there were magic-born and lived in reverence of the towering edifice. A hint of fear also remained amongst the people, whose ancestors were once the mages that cast the cursed knight into his current state. Children were warned never to travel into the tomb unless they had the power to protect themselves. The story begins with one young woman's disregard for such tales, who ventured in to the tombs and became terribly lost within. Her name was Annalise, friend to a young boy who had so recently died of pneumonia. The poor girl was drawn further in, the dark denizens of the place forcing her down to deeper and older paths. Eventually she came across a most astounding sight, a young knight in blood red armor, sleeping and pristine, for all that the world had moved around him.
Annalise knew the stories, knew of the terrible curse that had plagued this once-city, but his gentle and yet mournful features drew her. Too late did she see the cursed sword resting next to him and with surprising keenness, it marred her hand, breaking the magical bonds and bursting once more with its unbound powers. Annalise watched in horror as the sword obliterated the curse around its sleeping tool and as the Corvo rose once more his eyes found the helpless girl before him. It is not known as to why the sword did not force the knight to gut the child then and there, but when the waking world once more knew the name of Isendter and Corvo she was found following in their wake.
The sword for all its power, could not sense the diluted, magical talents of the villagers, but knew it should seek vengeance against those who helped to seal away the hunger and ambitions it once had. Corvo spoke before the villagers, claiming that he would leave their town in search of vengeance, but that he would be taking Annalise as his mate and hostage. There were none who contested, even Annalise herself. Together they travel, man sword, and maiden, gone on a wild goose chase across the known lands. Annalise believes that she can break through Isendter's hold on Corvo's mind, somehow knowing that the man still possesses some will of his own. Something in her tells of the defense he put up to resist her slaying, the power he still has over himself. But can she love a man who was once a murder of her own people and also his own? Will you help me to tell this story and see where it may end?

Her mother died giving born to her and her father abused her from when she was 10. He was a drunk and fooled around with women. At the age of 14, her father remarried. Her step-mother hated Annalise and took pleasure into abusing her. When Annalise turned 18, she meet a boy and befriended him. But sadly, after just 5 months of knowing each other, he died from pneumonia. Annalise was crushed because she finally felt like she had a really friend. Annalise ran to a nearby tomb. She finally got out of her father's and step-mother's grip. She heard her father yelling at her. She ran deeper into the tomb, ignoring the cobwebs and spiders. Annalise stopped when she couldn't heard them. She panted heavily and looked up. There was a light coming from a room. Annalise walked towards the light, pushing the cobwebs aside.
When she finally reach the room, she noticed a guy laying on a platform with a sword. She hesatided but then walked up to the man. She looked at the sword in his hands. It was beautiful and shiny but something was off about it. She lightly touched the sword. Then......
