[U/C] This is where you will most likely find the Head Captain if you have a question to ask, paperwork to turn in, or to just come and talk. Make sure you knock first.
Jermaine appeared, sitting in his chair, looking at his Zanpakuto that was laying on the desk. His eyes closed and his hand touching the sheath, he went into his inner world as he waited on Caleb to arrive. He knew he would probably come in from a nearby shadow.

Caleb pulled out of the darkness behind Jermaine's chair. He calmly walked around to the front of the desk and crossed his arms. "So tell me, what's with Airisa? She just leaves without saying goodbye?" He looked at Jermaine with obvious question in his eyes.
The young Commander was right. As expected Caleb rose from the shadows over him. "Airisa retired, because she's not a fan of this era. Times have greatly changed and it must not be for her anymore." said Jermaine, opening his eyes.

Caleb shook his head and sighed. "We're allowed to do that? Since when? It's not like I want to fight for the rest of my life either..." He scratched his forearm and walked to lean against a wall. "This is a really bad time to lose her... If the Ouken is in the world of the living, every Captain and capable shinigami is going to be sucked into this... I don't think we're ready Jermaine." He looked at his best friend with question in his eye. He knew that the pair could take care of themselves, he knew that the Captains would most likely survive any attempt on the Soul Society. The problem was what the Ouken was capable of, and with Caleb's secret affiliation, he'd more than likely need to take part in this fight eventually.
"Anyone is a loud to leave or retire from they've served for as many years as she has. She was serving way before my father too." said Jermaine, looking at his friend. Caleb knew Dazimagies' could live for thousands of years, for someone to out live them was amazing. "It is a bad time, but we will have to manage without her. We don't have a choice but to."
SpacerDespite having been so close to the location of the Ouken, Airisa had decided to pay the Commander one proper visit. Just a simple letter seemed a bit rude. When Yui left the meeting, he had set up a special shadow route for Airisa to use to gain instant access to the hallways of Division 1. Being friends with the legendary ninja was always useful.
SpacerArriving outside Jermaine's office door in her normal clothes, minus the Captain's haori. Sensing two powerful presences inside the room, Airisa assumed Jermaine was in, so she knocked lightly on the door. I suppose I'm entitled to give Jermaine a little farewell gift, she thought as she waited, Maybe to Caleb for his help over the years too. Spacer

Caleb sighed and even groaned sightly at Jermaine's answer. It was an answer to suit his position, not his feelings. They were both friends with Airisa, he knew that Jermaine would miss her just as much as Caleb would. Though when a knock arrived on the door Caleb was a little surprised. "Someone who doesn't like their assignment?" He said outloud as he looked at the frame.
SpacerEven though it was rude to enter without a Captain welcoming you in first, Airisa pushed open the door of Jermaine's office and stepped inside. "Maybe so," she joked with a smile on her face. She hadn't properly interacted with any of them, minus the quick chats during the search for the Relics. "Just dropping by to say goodbye properly," she stated sadly, "And also to give both of you a little something," brightening up as she added this. Spacer

Jermaine could tell that Caleb didn't like his answer. He had to always think positively because he was Captain-Commander. Yes he was a little upset, but he had to face the facts. When someone knocked on the door. "Probably." He said, watching as the door slowly opened, revealing to be Airisa herself. This actually made him glad because a letter was an easy way to leave. "I knew it wasn't like you to just leave without saying goodbye in person. What is it?"
Spacer"I just didn't feel that arriving at a meeting then leaving was quite right," Airisa sighed before smiling, "I thought that since both of you have been close friends of mine for quite a long time, I'd give each of you a little...gift." With her right hand, she reached pulled out a small chain of rings which had hung from her belt before pulling two of them off, without damaging the whole chain. "Take them, and then I'll explain," she smiled as she held them out to Caleb and Jermaine, one in each hand. Spacer

Caleb smiled when he saw Airisa enter the room. He wanted to hug her, to tell her to stay, but he knew it would be pointless. Being a Captain wasn't easy, but retirement, he coudln't see her doing it for long. "I was wondering why I didn't get a goodbye from you." He said with a grin as he approached her. As she spoke of gifts he laughed and reached out his hand taking a ring. "And here I didn't get you anything, you shouldn't have."
Jermaine smiled and got up from his sit. He was excited she was back, but knew it wouldn't last long. She was still going to leave like she had planned and even though it was sad, he knew it wouldn't last for long. "Same here, I didn't get you anything either," said Jermaine reaching for the ring and taking it. He wasn't sure what it was for but it was surely good. Noble members hated to get stuff unless... It was just there way of life. They were raised that way. Lucky Jermaine wasn't like that anymore.
SpacerAs each of them retrieved a ring from her hands, Airisa lowered her now empty ones before answering, "There's no need to, it's just a little something for those still in service." Twisting one of the rings on her own finger, which resembled the ones she had given each of them, Airisa began her quick explanation regarding them, "When the right time comes, each of them will manifest into something I call an Arcana Card, though they will only be for single use so choose wisely." Pausing, she quickly pulled out a single card from one of the few pockets in her dress and offered it to Jermaine, "This is a little something for those...more complicated opponents," she winked, knowing the other will catch her hint. After letting out a small sigh, Airisa smiled and said, "It was wonderful working with both of you, I'm glad to know this world has such kind and lovely protectors." Spacer

~*[OOC: 2nd last post on Gaia ;<
Basics: Caleb has an Arcana Card, Jermaine has an Arcana Card + Seal Read on Airisa's Profile about the Arcana Cards / Seals: You can make up your own card (which is for one off use) and it's abilities, then PM it to me ;3]*~
Jermaine listened as Airisa explained what the rings were and what they would do. The first thought that went through his head was to seal the King of Espada away so they didn't have to worry about him, but they're people way stronger than him. "We'll use them wisely." said the teen, putting the ring on his finger. "It was an honor and pleasure serving with you Airisa Voltaire. I hope you'll return one day." He was sad, but it couldn't be heard in his voice.
