Every day he could hear the fire demoness at the door, knocking. Knowing it was her, having heard her voice telling him to open up when she had come every day around this time, but refusing to answer. Maybe there was no file on her. Not yet. What if she was under their radar? Could he be the one to put her in danger? He was paranoid...but was it really paranoia if he had a legitimate reason to be worried?

But today he had ventured out. Had finally sought out advice, answers. Now he was back to his room, not fully ready to go out and face things, needing the rest of the day to get back on his feet. But when the knocks came...he had made one step forward earlier, the least he could do now was open the door to his best ghoul friend.

He took a moment to shift to his student form, feeling a tiny sense of lose at some of his more mantodae features, but this one not uncomfortable. Not too much like the hunters. "Greetings Miss Danny," he managed as he swung the door open. There, normal. Of course his eyes were darting furtively from side to side as he scanned the hallway behind her. One never knew when the hunters might show up.

Warmth. He had not felt warmth like this since she had helped him out of the lab, her aura feeling miraculous to him. Cold lab, cold Frost in the Storm, cold bonded...plus he was not entirely taken aback. It was Miss Danny, who liked to hug people. Of course, yelling right into his ear had not been pleasant, and he winced away from her. He had known she had made it back, but it was still a relief to see her here, to know she was safe.

"It is...good to see you as well," He reached up and tentatively patted her back with one hand, the closest he had ever come to returning one of her hugs, before trying to pull away.

Princess Eva was gazing at her adoringly. OuO

All minipet eyes were on her, and she knew it. The pestilence that plagued her, vaisel kittens, seemed to be in awe...or perhaps they were just mesmerized by the crown princess' tail. It glowed and flickered, and was possibly in danger of being stalked. For now though, Princess Eva was at the height of her glory. Finally her boil was starting to act a bit better, and now a visit from the crown Princess? It was a shame he boil had not made his bed today, or that there was actually trash in his room. Hopefully that would not reflect too poorly on her.

Yin did not want to hear that question again. Then to hear that one of the ghouls was mute...even if another was fine...that was distressing. "I am physically fine," he answered, like he had told Alexander, though now that meant a bit more considering Miss Amphitrite's fate. He sighed, knowing that that really did not cut it, knowing things needed to change. "Not really."

Prolonged hugging made him uncomfortable, and really, she could not let him go too soon. "Hunters...change things." He looked away, not able to take the concern in her look, feeling horrible for maybe causing it. He could not really talk about it yet, having struggled enough to open up to Nurse Cricket, and Miss Danny...if Miss Amphitrite was mute she could not have told her. He still was not ready to see that look turn to disgust. No matter how Nurse Cricket had reacted, that was still what he expected.

"And then...then I pushed Alexander away. Because I am not safe." His eyes flicked back to the ghoul in front of him. "None of us that came back are," a warning. He had to let her know that much at least.

Princess Eva enjoyed being part of a group hug where no one smelt like rotted flesh. OuO

"He went home for a while," Yin informed her, shoulders not slumping because they already were. "But thank you."

When had it become so exhausting to talk to people? He needed to do better than this, to not let the hunters completely control his life. "Can I help you with anything?" He tried to smile, a pathetic attempt. Trying to be normal. It was kind of pathetic really.

Her annoyance was faintly shocking, but there was no strong reaction to it. Caring about himself, it was not that he did not care about himself. He would just prefer to see that those he cared about were taken care of first.

But the memories that she invoked, reminding him of when the tables had been turned, though she had never had to deal with the thought of turning on her friends, spying on them, did mean something though. "I...I understand Miss Danny. I will not give up because of this." He tried to smile at her, this time it was actually somewhat genuine.

Princess Eva approved. The crown princess was so wise!

Miss Danny was so hot, and Yin was loving it. He noted the bag on her back as she adjusted it but thought little of it. "This is not the type of fighting I enjoy," he agreed, a frown crossing his face. Now...now he kind of understood why she might have wanted to go home after her fight with Rikki. Even though Miss Xiu-Ying had helped him with his dreams what seemed so long ago they were starting to creep back. When he saw the ribbon that was supposed to wake him up, guide him out he was tempted to ignore it. To delve deeper.

"I do not have a phone," he answered immediately, and then thought better of it. Telling Miss Danny things like that would probably just lead to her pulling out a phone from no where and making him call Alexander right then and there. Almost desperately he tried to shift the focus. "Um...do you want to set you bag down?" It was then that he realized that his room was somewhat of a mess, as if looking at it in a new light. How embarrassing.

The crown princess moving her arms had Princess Eva scrambling to keep her place. Her poor fur had gotten mussed.
