Well, pretty obviously Leo had to do the optional mission. Well, technically she didn't have to, but she wanted to. She really, really did - she wasn't quite sure if she was interested in being a trick or treater, but the field trip had been very exciting and it seemed wrong not to get everything she could out of it. So, she with a nod and a smile to Desu-chan, Leo grabbed a pair of each of the items.

Honestly, she wasn't sure she'd be able to use all of them, but it was good to have a large selection of things to choose from when it came to choosing what she'd be do. Tucking away the items, she was glad she'd gotten out of the rose dress. It'd been pretty and made her feel somewhat ghoulish, but the stink would've given her away at a mile's distance. She wasn't yet certain how to go about this mission, but she was pretty sure stealth would have to be involved if she was to plant one of the items on a couple. And there was nothing stealthy about the rose dress, at all. Not even the least bit.

But without it... she didn't exactly blend in. She'd have to sneak if she wanted to get past the Valentiners without being seen. She looked pretty suspicious at the moment, at least compared to the natives of this world. Her nice black skeleton print t-shirt didn't exactly ooze 'romance' - at least it didn't to these people, she thought.

Well. First things first, she needed to get closer. Nearing the park-like town, she ducked behind a nearby tree, surveying the street closest to her for any promising couples. There were many, both moving around and reclining in the gazebos, but she figured that pranking a couple in constant movement would be harder than going for one that was stationary. One of the couples on a gazebo it was, then. Keeping low to the ground, Leo moved from behind the tree to a bush, and then from the bush to a large shrubbery located behind a gazebo. Her sneaking skills weren't exactly the best or most well-trained, but she seemed to have gotten away with it well enough - for now. She was still aware that something could go wrong, someone could spot her at a any minute; although that didn't seem so likely here, at the back of the gazebo. No couples were milling about here, and she felt marginally safer here than she had behind the tree.

Waiting a few minutes just to be sure she really hadn't been spotted and no cherubs were about to rush up to her and attack, she slowly rose up on the tip of her toes to peek over the edge of the gazebo. Yep, sure enough, there was a couple there - they were laying in a large, pastel coloured hammock attached to the poles of the gazebo roof. The string tying it up had tiny little hearts attached to it. Raising herself just a higher, Leo ascertained that yes, the couple seemed to be asleep. She'd have expected some sort of romance novel-sleep, romantic and cute, but the chocolate man was drooling what looked like filling cremé and the woman who looked like a stuffed rabbit in human shape was snoring up a storm. Frankly, it wasn't impressing. Snickering slightly (as quietly as she could), Leo hefted herself over the edge and crawled towards the sleeping couple. If they were this out of it, it might be easier than she thought to complete this assignment.

Sneaking up to the chocolate man, she carefully wrapped one of the protection charms in the colourful pair of panties she'd taken and stuffed it in his front pocket, making sure a bit of panty was hanging out. It was pretty glaring against his brown clothing (it matched the colour of his chocolate, though why anyone would ever choose a fashion like that was beyond her) and she was certain the bunny woman would notice it. If they ever woke up, that is. Making her way back to her spot just as carefully as she'd left it, she kept glancing backwards to make sure the couple weren't waking up. They weren't. On the contrary, they'd snuggled closer, the chocolate man now groping the bunny woman quite openly. Shaking her head, Leo lowered herself the rest of the way down to her spot in the shrubbery and waited.

And waited. And waited some more. Wow, these people were not waking up at all, were they? After about fifteen minutes of waiting, Leo started to get scared that they really weren't going to wake up and decided to take matters into her own hands. The question was how, exactly - if she did this wrong, she could end up drawing attention to herself, and that was really the last thing she wanted here.

She pondered for a few moments before making up her mind. Selecting a middle-sized rock nearby, she weighed the stone in her hand. This could work, yeah. Crawling through the shrubbery was a bit of a challenge, but a good amount of sticks and leaves later, she'd made it to the other side of the gazebo.

Nothing for it, then. Sending a quick prayer to anyone that'd listen, Leo tossed the rock over the side of the gazebo, listening as it made a great big 'crash' as it landed. Score one for her. Vaguely hearing the couple scramble out of the hammock and exclaim in surprise, she crawled back to her original spot as fast as she could.

So far so good. She could hear the bunny woman looking around for the source of the rock, but neither of them thought to look in her direction. And luckily, too.

And then... silence. Well, nearly silence - the chocolate kept talking, wondering at the origin of the rock, but the bunny woman's answer was stony silence.

But not for long. The panties had been discovered, and from the sound of their conversation, the woman had just pulled them out and discovered the protection charms. More stony silence, and then all hell broke loose. Leo muffled her snickers with her hand as she listened to the woman rant and rave about she'd known he'd been having an affair with that tart who lived next to them, but oh no, he'd denied it and now here was the evidence.

From the sounds of things, this was going to end up a break for them. Smiling triumphantly as the woman tossed the panties and the protection charms at the chocolate man and stormed out of there, she listened to the man's protestations growing fainter as he went to follow her. Great, that meant she was in the all-clear. Employing her stealth yet again, she snuck away from the gazebo and back to the meeting point.

Job well done.
