Inclined to modesty, Sapphiredust tenancy to be bashful regarding himself. Playful teasing or casual friendliness beyond politeness tends to throw him too, belying his general social awkwardness and revealing that he is not particularly accustomed to the company of other's, having always been left to his own devices. He's curious about others, sure, but he's mostly become a solitary creature, having not had any consistent companionship. That hasn't particularly done anything for his self-esteem either, or helped his understanding of the art of interaction. Still, he tries, and puts an earnest effort into the things he does. As someone accustomed to only his own company, he is quite independent, and though he has no problem offering his own assistance to others, he is horribly unfamiliar with others doing things for him. He'd never had the chance to really exercise it, but he is a caring guy, and if he ever really started to get to know someone, he might be found to be a bit of a people pleaser, half of it being his desire to convince the other not to throw him out, the other half being he would find enjoyment from making the other happy. On principle, he finds conceit to be deplorable, and if overexposed to such behavior, he will advance from disappointed grimaces and looks to a talk down for their behavior, though he'd likely leave their company before he got that fed up.
