Personality:Laid-back and mellow, Kiku enjoys being friendly and polite to strangers and friends alike. At the same time, Kiku's bluntness on certain subjects may come off rude, although he means no offense when he says something. Generally, Kiku is fairly submissive and follows orders or let people do as they please and is difficult to provoke and irritate. Almost always optimistic, Kiku is always smiling and finds a particular amusement in gently teasing others.
Though, Kiku has a terrible habit of lying to which he finds very displeasing as being honest is decidedly more hospitable. Furthermore, Kiku may not be quite so kind as he may appear as he doesn't forget when people slight him (though whether this can be considered a grudge or not is debatable) and derives some sadistic pleasure in watching people suffer. The reason why he might let people do as they please, in spite of what may happen, is possibly because he's looking forward to seeing those people crash and fall. But of course, that's only a surmise.
In any event, though, Kiku has a strong sense of responsibility and when he feels he needs to give someone compensation, that is the one time he becomes obstinate.
Other: Kiku keeps his eyes closed for one reason or another. The only time they ever open would be when it's raining and he's alone. In spite of it being just another form of water, Kiku is not fond of rain. He also doesn't smile when it rains, unless there's someone else with him.
Oddly, Kiku takes some pride in that he can pretend to be a convincing woman....

Abilities 1:Air raid: A single shot is launched into the air and it splits into 50 arrows that fall within a small area.
Abilities 2 biggrin ash: send some enhanced energy back into the meister to enable short range evasive maneuvers.

Character History:A member of a nomadic theater troupe, Kiku spent the majority of his life on boats, jumping from one region to the next, one city or village to the next, to perform. The troupe, consists of various wanderers and vagabonds that it has picked up along the way and never settles down in one place for long, so one might be able to say the troupe is a mobile village.
Before reaching the age of 13, Kiku typically helped as a stage hand and constructing props or, sometimes, acting a child's part. After his 13th birthday, Kiku was given more active parts in performances, and frequently received the roles of women...
When he's not rehearsing or helping out with prop, Kiku either fishes or sits around and watches the other Water Adepts practice their art. Occasionally, some of the adepts will take time out of their day to teach Kiku basics movements and form, as well as whatever else they figured useful for the boy, like martial arts or cooking... or how to put on make-up properly or sew clothes.
While on the way to the next location, tragedy struck in the form of a storm. The entire troup was destroyed leaving him floating along on a few pieces of wood. He ended up near a settlement and stayed there for awhile. The village was attacked by pirates and pillagers often so he had plenty of battle trainning. He learned to block peoples chi by hitting specific parts of their body with precise blows. He decided that it would be easier for them if he left. He eventually found his way to shibusen after traveling for many moons.
