Whisteria had decided to spend the day outside in the forest beyond the gardens. She was restless and bored of staying cooped up indoors all the time, helping the sick and injured was wonderful but she needed some space and time to herself. Even though the druidess had given Elik a hard time about being a recluse she could certainly understand his reasons. The forest was not the one of Teldrassil, Darkshore and or Ashenvale but in some ways it was similar thus making it comfortable, if not entirely familiar, territory.
She could not reach the Dream here, since that was tied to Azeroth, but she could still meditate. So she sat cross legged in the grass beneath the shade of a tree, head bowed and silver eyes closed with her hands folded in her lap. Very slowly and gently she reached out with her power to see what was around.

The forest felt peticularly alive, likely thanks to the existence of it's god so near. The trees spoke and whispered among each other with surprising clarity.
But more than that, there was another impression - another 'power' wandering the woods. It was the soft feeling of water, but flowing along the trees rather than along a set path like a stream or a river. Oddly enough, the feel seemed to vary, peaking at times and then barely noticeable the next moment.
The owner of said mana, however, did not seem to notice. "Where are you hiding now, uh..." Xun Jiang grinned. These little games of 'hide and seek' were far from unheard of in between him and his lover - even if Glyph did not set out to hide on purpose, it often did end up that Ti Lung only had the barest idea of where his lover went, and had to look for him.
The Dragon King leaped down from the tree he had climbed in hope to get a good vantage point and back to ground level, through he had not noticed Whisteria sitting a few meters to his left, as he had been looking to his right.

Water? But...there was not a river near here, so far as she knew anyway. The way it moved however was not like a river at all and it was coming closer to her until finally it stopped almost right beside her. She had not been noticed or felt, since no indication was given one way or another to acknowledge her presence.
"Xun?" She asked without even opening her eyes. Lifewater seemed like the most likely candidate...if it was not him, well, she would find out soon enough.

It was the voice that made him stop, just as we was about to head off again - and he had to admit, he'd very nearly bolted back up the tree in surprise. Once she had spoken, however, she was easy to spot. "Ah, there you are." The voice proved without a doubt who he was, and he walked the few steps that separated them. It looked like she was meditating.... Which reminded Xun Jiang that he had planned on trying that. Ugh.
"Did I disturb you ?"

The druidess smiled, amused that she had been right. "Not really no."
Finally, silver eyes opened and she glanced in his direction. "I just did not expect to see you out here is all." It seemed likely that he was out hunting for Cenarius. She rested a hand on her belly, rubbing it gently. Thankfully for Xun hormones had not left her in a sick or cranky mood today. "Did Elik come and talk to you?"

"Yes, he did." The Dragon King moved to sit beside her, bringing his knees up so he could rest first his arms, then his chin on top. That way of sitting just basically screamed Illisia to anyone who had known her. "I can tell he's confused... But he listened, at the very least." Elik would need time to accept and understand, and Xun Jiang knew this. Still, this was better than what had once been.
"Thank you... I do not know how I would have gotten him to listen otherwise." Probably would have involved force that he did not quite possess yet. "Do I want to know what you threatened him with, through ?"

"Good, I'm glad." It meant she would not have to corner him again about breaking his word. She had not liked seeing mother (well, technically father now) and child at odds for so silly a reason. "Confused is good though, it means he actually heard you and is thinking it through." In the end he would more than likely come around once had had sorted things out to his satisfaction.
"Sometimes aunts just need to do what they have to do." Whisteria chuckled. "I was not in the best mood, so it did not require much actual threatening." From the look on Elik's face though she must have been rather scary looking.

The Dragon King laughed at Whisteria's answer, grinning. "Oh, a pregnant woman can be the scariest thing in the right circumstances." The druidess seemed in a good enough mood not to take it badly, or well, he hoped that she was. "I mean, remember me ? I scared myself every now and then."
Which had been one of the many reasons why Illisia had decided one child would be enough. "Did the weird carvings hit yet ? I hated that." He made a face. If he was anything else but what he was, this conversation would probably have been very, very strange. "Peacebloom salads.... honestly."

"I do remember. You did a pretty good job of terrifying my brother sometimes too when he was around anyway." Poor man. Thankfully she had not been too terribly rough on Aska yet. He seemed to bear it all with his usual quiet grace and crooked smiles.
She laughed when he mentioned peacebloom salads. "I have had those before anyway, they aren't so bad. She seems to be rather fond of sweets, mostly cookies." Whisteria made a face at that. She hardly ever touched the things anymore, until recently. "For the most part though I am able to eat like I normally do. Which I would guess is probably rather lucky."

"Oh, no need to remind me." Poor Ilithor. Sometimes he did ask himself how the druid had not run in the opposite direction while he could. He could not have blamed him, honestly.
"I do not even like peacebloom salad !" Honestly. "Sweets, hm ? Well, it could be worse. I heard something about pickles and ice cream from the humans here... Sounds gross, honestly."
At least, he would not be the one to try it, thank you very much.
"But yes, sounds like you are quite lucky so far." And hopefully it would stay that way.

She wrinkled her nose at the mention of pickles and ice cream. That did sound pretty disgusting.
"I have been thinking about something and you will probably call me crazy for it." The druidess reached up and brushed light blue bangs away from her eyes. It had grown some in the months she had been here and she wore it loose more often than not now. "I want to ask Aska to be my mate...but I don't know if I should." Would it be too much for the man? She had no idea.
"I mean...I know he and I don't have much time..." Xun would know that this was a big deal, otherwise she would not have mentioned it at all.

He knew from the tone of Whisteria's voice that she was serious, and so he settled to listen until the druidess was done. This was clearly a delicate matter no matter how one looked at it. He had known that Whisteria loved Aska - it had been easy to see once they had together in front of him - and to that point...
It was a delicate matter for him as well. Althai is... was a friend of his. Their influences ran similar paths, and for Healing to have remembered him like he had... It made him think that they might have been close friends, even if Ti Lung could remember none of him. Part of him wished Healing reborn, but he also did not wish for Whisteria to lose Aska.
But what was done was done, and it could not be helped. What would eventually happen was up to host and god alone.
"...If I had it my way, I would never have told Glyph how I felt." He knew their situations were completely different, but. "Because I did not want to hurt him... I thought it would hurt him enough to lose me as it was. But he beat me to it." The Dragon King grinned, amused by the memory. "I think, if it had not happened... I would have regretted never saying anything. So... I think you should. Even if it's only for the time he has left... At least you will not regret never asking it."

She nodded, still looking thoughtful. "If Aska says yes...I just do not want Althai to feel obligated to look after me or the child at all. If he wants to I certainly would not refuse him...I just do not want to make him feel like he has to." Healing should not have to feel obligated simply because of her and Aska's ill fated romance. She had no idea how the god felt about everything since it was just one of those things she and Aska never talked about. The druidess was just glad to have the time with the man that she did...were it not for Healing's call the two would never have met.
"Aska and I both knew what would happen, if things got serious. I'm not angry at Althai, it is not his fault after all. Fate just has a twisted and dark sense of humor." She sniffled, sounding very much like she was starting to cry. "I just...I wish the price of it all was not the only man I have ever loved." She rested a hand on her belly again almost protectively and started to sob.

"Whist..." Xun Jiang moved, turned, and pulled the druid in a close hug, fingers running through her hair soothingly. He knew it was partly the hormones, but he could not help but make him feel a little guilty.
"All you need is to make that clear... But I think he would be willing to help you, and not simply out of obligation." True, he knew little of the god... but his instinct told him so. "And I will help you, the best I can... Elik too, when he finally comes around.
He would not tell her that there was a chance that the two might become one. Ti Lung refused to tell Whisteria of an option that was far from definitive, and that certainly was not up to him.
"And at least, you got to meet him." He said, soothingly. "...I am not sure exactly what to tell you..." He admitted. Illisia had been a willing host. Had Aska ? It was not something that gods usually asked to each other.

Whisteria certainly had not meant to start crying but there was no stopping it now. Damn hormones going in circles. She leaned into Xun's embrace and cried until her tears ran out. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to..." The shoulder of Lifewater's shirt was probably soaked. She sighed and took a few deep breaths, hoping she would calm down and not burst into tears again. "I know...I am grateful for that and for his love." And for their child- the little girl was the best gift he could have ever given her.
She sat up once she felt a bit better. "You should have seen the look on Elik's face when I told him...he looked at me like I had turned into a rabid owlbear."
