Hello my dearies! Back to host another contest as the last one was such a smashing success. Instead of separate categories however I will be having just the one - but with three winners ^_^ This contest will run until August 31st with the winners being announced on September first. And what are the prizes you wonder? Each finalist will win a monthly collectible for September - ohhh a mystery!! Good luck all and I can't wait to see your creations.

Rules

It's pretty straight forward and though the few requirements are simple they are important - so read carefully!

✖ I have absolutely zero preference when it comes to colours (unless specifically stated) so please let your imagination lead the way!

✖ I do ask that for an avi you create, please don't use the same item more than once.

✖ Please only newly created avis! No recycling of your previous creations, lovely though they might be.

✖ All finished avis must layer properly on Gaia - I know it's a pain to check folks but it's important! <3

✖ No items not already included in my inventory. I have quite a few so it should be fine ^_^

✖ Please do not post links to your avi - include the image from tektek as well

✖ I may make edits if an avi is very close to making it to the considered list

Clutter / Layering

I am not a fan of bulky avis or background items. I like the focus to be on the items on the avi itself - here is a LINK to my previous avis to give you an idea as to my preferences. The more organized clutter/layering the better!

Neither of these are bad avis at all - I think they're very cute, just not super cluttery. Of the two for a start I prefer the first one though it needs more in the way of items. I really like leg mods like the one you used but it can sometimes be difficult for a cluttered avi because lots of bottom items are hard to work with leg mods. But that's not to say it's impossible ^_^

For the second one I'm not a huge fan of rainbow avis unless it's something along these lines. Also the bubbles and prism won't layer together, which is ok because I don't really like background items on my avis <3

If you find yourself struggling with clutter a good thing to try is to go through the items and save the ones with the colours you want to work together (don't worry too much yet how to item itself looks) and then when you've chosen all the ones you like try and match them up together. I've often been surprised with how well different items match up when you have several of them together.

I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme for the first one or the background items. I'm looking more for a concentrated clutter for this particular contest and though it's cute it's not my personal style. And you're right not much in the way of pink shoe options lol I won't be taking any avis with extra items outside of my inventory thought <3

The second one is more ballpark what I'm looking for though again, not really big on the background stuff. (Dreamer's Dust) It's put together very nicely and everything layers well but I think I'd like to see more in the way of colour - I've had a lot of blueish only avis and it makes it harder to appreciate the clutter when there isn't more contrast.

I think you did a fabulous job with the dress as it can be so hard to match - and the colour balance is lovely as well. I`m not a very big fan of bulky avis (can`t help it with the dress and skirt) however. This would have done very well in one of my other contests ^_^ Maybe look at more in the way of clutter?

Well, here's my first entry (hopefully, the first of many! xD).
Layering has been checked and should work as shown.
My only suggestion would be to not use the reve rouille heart as shown, but to hold it up in your hand (looks way better, in my opinion).
Thoughts are more than welcome, of course!
