He was lost, very very lost. His brothers had gone on ahead of him to find the pridelands and he had stayed behind to tidy up things. That was a really bad idea because unlike his brothers he had a terrible sense of direction. But his brother insisted...'oh it's EASY, it's the PRIDELANDS- everyone KNOWS where that is...you have to be an IDIOT not to find it.' And of course he wanted to prove he was not an idiot.
Though he seamed to doubt it more and more as everything looked the same as everything else. He didn't see a giant pointed rock; he saw grass and more grass. Boy he was going to beat his brother Simba (his birthname) when he found the punk, if he found him. Just because he was given a royal name dosen't mean he's any smarter then you Len'ex. It just means his ego won't allow him to walk into places...

Jivu had been following the visions granted to her for some time, and thus far she had managed to get very little information wise. Some thought it might be familiar, but no one could give her any definitive answers, just appologies and good lucks, if even that. So the dark lioness lay beneath a tree, eyes closed as she rested, thinking over how she was no closer to answers than when she had started this journey. Slowly her eyes opened ad she turned her gaze upwards, staring in to the bring, midday sky. "Why must these visions be so vague? Am I not worthy of straight answers?" She spoke, perhaps towards the sun, or maybe just to herself. At this point she wasn't even sure.

Len'exs head turned hearing something in the distance. Was it prey or was it somebody calling him from the pridelands. Perhaps he had found his brothers? He tried to remember where the sound was coming from and went in that direction. "E-Ello?" He stammered not very self confident in himself. Maybe he made it all up in his head. He had a tendency to do that.

Shortly after she spoke aloud she heard a voice follow. Not so much in reply, though. Jivu turned her head, front legs pushing her up as she searched for this voice. She wasn't too worried about them being hostile, if they had been then they likely would have simply attacked her, and not called out to alert their presence to a potential prey, as well as the fact that the voice seemed quite unsure of itself. The dark female finally pushed herself up to her feet, moving quietly around the tree she was beneath in search of who was out there.
Some distance away she spotted him, a male lion with a fading mane. Jivu wondered silently if perhaps this male might have any information for her, but by her luck thus far she was not counting on anything very helpful. "Hello there!" She called back to him, moving a few more paces away from the tree to allow herself to be more easily seen.

It was another lion? He squinted to see her better, yes and she seamed friendly enough; maybe she knew the way to the pridelands. "H-h-hello!" He stammered out again, his confidence was still not brimming where it should be. He almost wished he was Simba at the moment. He was so brave when it came to females. He was just a looser and dull; a dull looser.
He took a few steps forward himself then quickly as he could yelled. "I'm not hostile. I mean y-you no harm!" He just wanted to make sure he didn't get attacked. His brothers got the brawn, he was rather left with the other DNA that wasn't that 'good' at least he didn't think so.

Jivu quirked a brow in amusement at the male. She wasn't worried the male might bring her harm, she could take care of herself, but the stuttered comment that he would not hurt her was still quite amusing. Thus far he was not a very imposing figure, however one could never be too sure since she did not know this lion, nor what he was capable of. "That is good, and I will do you no harm either. In fact I am hoping you may have some information for me." She sat down, hoping the action might further show that she was not going to attack him.

"Yes. Y-yes." He nodded. "I was hoping you w-would have some for me too." He cautiously approached her trying not to make himself any more nervous then he was. "Y-ou see..." He admited sheepishly. "I'm l-lost." He didn't want to go into his life story about his brothers and bore her. She might run away if he did and then he would be royally screwed since she had been the only lion that he had met on his journey so far. It was like the world was trying to avoid him, big surprise.

Jivu nodded. She was perfectly fine with an information trade, though was curious what this male might need from her. She kept silent as he continued to speak, trying to hide her mild surprise at him being lost. "I see." She said, "Then is there someone, or somewhere, you are searching for?"

He nodded once again, "Yes...the pridelands. M-my brothers went ahead of m-me and I got lost." He hung his head lower. "I-I have zero sense of direction sadly." Maybe that was why he was left behind. They were trying to get rid of the dead weight. But the more he thought about it the more he knew his brothers wouldn't do that. As much of an a** that Simba was they all loved each other. "Y-you wouldn't happen to know which way it is?"

Jivu chuckled softly. Not an imposing character at all. She silently wondered if he could even handle himself in a fight. However she pushed aside the thought and shook her head at the question. “I have a general idea of the direction, but as far as exact locations I do not know for sure.” She fell silent a moment, before an idea struck her. “Why not travel together for now? A bit of company can’t hurt.” It was less a question and more a statement, the lioness had really already made up her mind. The lioness stood, a determined smile on her face. “This way I can keep you on track, and if I am lucky find information I am looking for along the way.”
