This very week of Amityville found very green and human posters littered all over the school walls in a very particular style:
Thanks to the posters, and also several announcements through the Ickycom regarding 'DETH field trip coming soon!' followed by 'DETH field trip tomorrow!', unless one had been skipping class for a week straight, it was very, very, painfully very hard not to notice the saturation of DETH propaganda that had suddenly littered the school.
This particular Frightday was the aforementioned field trip, the entire auditorium open for any student interested. There were three figures standing in the front podium area: or well, two and a familiar-looking minipet, talking amongst each other quietly as the students began to file in.
A cheerful-looking gnome standing on two chairs at the front of the doors was also handing out little badges:
He kept on chirping "Have you hugged your human today?" to anyone who arrived. OOC: DETH FIELD TRIP Noone knows what the DETH field trip will imply, but knowing DETH, a popular Human-loving group that every single student with at least be familiar with in name, it probably involved a lot of Human hugging, or Human awareness. At least the Human awareness might help, maybe they would even get to scare a Human. Maybe. - Judging from the look of posters, probably not. Unless hugging meant scaring, there was always hopeOOC: ALL STUDENTS ARE INVITED. You can be aligned with Lost Clans and still enter/ sit in this lecture/ attend the field trip - There will be a small IC bonus/ faction incentive at the end, so it is recommended that your student stays/ rps the entire trip/ at least gives this a try. Because why not

The posters had his attention. It was a different take on events that had gone by thus far. It seemed lacking in conflict, which was up his alley. He wasn't a fighter, he hated it. So maybe he should just be at peace with that aspect of himself? While all of his friends threw themselves in harms way fro vague reasons, he'd always felt left behind, and lost. Maybe this was his calling.
It was worth a try.
Mot entered the auditorium, taking the offered badge with a small smile.

Jack couldn't help but find his way to the auditorium, having seen the green signs over it. He was definitively someone who wanted to know more about Humans, and felt more inclined to learn about all aspects of them. All of them.
Accepting one of the badges, he looked around, nodding to the other student who had filed in, before taking a seat somewhere somewhat secluded, his glowing eyes watching everything with great interest.

The posters she had seen littering the school were...interesting enough. She had heard little about DETH but the name was familiar and their objective was certainly clear.
It was a Human loving and awareness group.
While Meixiang was a little wary of humans, especially after all she had seen and went through with the Hunter. Though all the same she had decided to keep herself busy to keep her mind at least somewhat grounded. The haunting call for revenge had been whispering in the back of her mind. A finger on her spin. Teeth chewing at her ear.
She clasped at the golden choker at her neck which held her fragment. Its secret purpose she could share with no one. Merely to quiet it. Perhaps this would be an opportunity to try things out. Maybe. Maybe not. The ghoul did not need prying eyes.
As she entered the auditorium she took a badge that was handed to her, Mei flashed a warm smile to the gnome. Having grown a small fondness for the short little creatures. "Thank you." Was all she muttered as she moved past the chairs he was standing on to enter further in to find a seat at the back and a bit off to the side.

Wandering aimlessly. That's what Uller had been doing since Tahki's disappearance and it had left him pretty bummed. He missed his first friend like he didn't know he could miss anyone. He didn't even miss his parents this much. The pet they had saved together was getting restless and he wanted to release it back to the Scarefari, but he only wanted to do it with the Gryphon around. He'd signed up for a class and a field trip that was going to be starting soon, but he needed something new to do. So he wouldn't think about how much he missed her. Sighing heavily, he glanced up at a poster and blinked. Well, it was short notice, but he needed a good distraction. Putting on his 'why the hell not face, he accepted one of the badges and looked towards... a cat boy? Interesting. Then the boy's eyes started glowing and that caught his attention even more. Well, it seemed like this boy knew what was going on so he might as well ask. Tapping Jack on the shoulder, Uller spoke. "What is DETH?" he asked, looking curious.

Herryk was there. Big, brutish and bedraggled. He looked nervous. He made no attempt to approach anyone, far too busy trying to look inconspicuous as he stood off to the side.
It wasn't really working.
At all.

"I WANTS TEH HUGS A HUMAN!"
The voice came before the sight of her, as Freya bounded in, bouncing right past Herryk and wandering into the fray. Her arms rose up in a strangling motion as she muttered between clenched teeth.
"Wants teh hugs them with my hands on their necks like-"
She started shaking her clenched hands back and forth violently and making gurgling sounds. Then she released the invisible dead human, and her crazed look disappeared into something much less psychopathic. She took one of the badges that the gnome was handing out, and then turned it around, and stuck it right on the gnome's face.

As tired as she seemed Mitsu was trying to get back into the swing of things. That meant going to class, being with classmates and apparently taking part in something she had no idea what it was about. The poster had her curious so why not?
Entering the auditorium tired eyes peered around for a moment taking in the two figures and a....mini pet talking before she turned back and waited for Shun to join her. As she stepped in a little further to allow him to follow she looked down as she saw a tiny creature trying to hand her something.
"T..thank you," She took the little badge and looked it over, flipping it to look on the back though there was really nothing to see. "Hugged a human today?...Is this a club?"

Shun had heard about the trip, but he hadn't been all too interested... until Mitsu wanted to attend it. It was hosted by Deth so he figured it would be safe, and he wouldn't deny her should she want to go to it. That didn't mean he was enthusiastic though. He tagged along, wanting to make sure that she would be alright.
When the gnome passed out the badges and asked about human hugging, he frowned and looked over the emblem. It was the same as the one he saw in Trance.
"Deth is an organization that believes strongly in doing non harmful ways of scaring humans," he explained while he followed her. Looking into the auditorium, he stared as saw what looked like Professor QB up front. He should have known he'd be involved with this.
Quietly, he scanned the room, spying several familiar faces here.
"There's Mot," he pointed out, trying to help her put names to faces once more, "The one you considered to be a big brother."

Looking at the pin a little longer Mitsu finally stuffed it in her pocket for now. "Oh? So they are on friendly terms with humans?"
Though Mitsu's ears perked more when Shun mentioned an individual. "Mot?" He had told her about him. Her adopted big brother. "The tall one?" She waited to get his attention before she waved. "Should I say hi? Will he want to see me? Will he be mad?....If I don't remember?" Shun had already assured her before but apparently she wasn't convinced. Forgetting people was a touchy subject.

"They are yes. Granted I don't know their stance on hunters," he muttered lowly. Even so, he wouldn't be surprised if they looked down upon killing hunters. Shun was fine with protection of the normal humans and stuff but hunters were a whole other matter. Normal humans didn't really interest him all that much in either degree.
"Yes. Him. I doubt he will be angry. He's... a bit of a gentle one. If not a bit of a pushover. Go ahead and greet him if you like," he said... though the fact that he gently urged her from behind suggested that he would like her to go ahead and approach the cowboy.

It sounded like he was giving her a choice but his gentle nudging suggested otherwise. Shuffling forward a few paces Mitsu looked back at Shun for a moment nervously before she looked back toward Mot. It seemed like she was trying to make up her mind before she finally made her way toward him slowly.
She didn't seem the steadiest, still not completely well but she made it to Mot, stopping a few feet away leaning to the side to get his attention. "Hello...Mot?" Mitsu looked fairly normal though tired and worn and a new accessory of a runic collar around her neck.

It came as quite a surprise to see the word DETH being displayed in a banner. Poke was familiar to the group thanks to trance, but she had not realized the group still existed. Did this mean that defenders and SCREAM were still about?
Although, as she looked at the poster and all the smiling faces, she began to feel...physically ill. This picture as just to damn happy and cute. Sure, she was all about protecting humans, but jacking hell she wasn't about to dance around with them in a field of flowers!
Ehh, whatever, she would go check out the field trip. anyway. Did she have anything better to do?
Walking towards the auditorium, the dragoness took note of the two figures talking with a minipet (and wondered how it was talking. And Didn't she face a horde of those things at florestival?) She then took one of the DETH badges from the gnome, eyeing it for a moment then placing it within one of her pockets.
She could see Mitsu and Shun nearby, Mitsu approaching a cowboil looking dude, whom she had not met. For now she watched, standing idly with hands in her pockets and hoping they wouldn't be waiting too long for this trip to start.

Mot quietly fidgeted with his badge, his eyes cast down until he heard a soft voice address him. He lifted his gaze to the side to see Mitsu, looking tired but otherwise okay. "Mitsu." Mot smiled warmly, turning to face her properly.
"It's so good to see you're okay. I was worried." No one had told him how the trip went. He didn't know they were back. It didn't matter, really. As long as they were all safe and sound.
"You're not hurt, are you?"

"No not hurt so much as ummm..." She didn't seem like she knew what to say, her hands fidgeting with her runic collar for a moment before they shifted to ruffle her hair.
For a moment she paused looking back to Shun before she continued. Maybe she could just avoid the subject of memory loss for now. "I wanted to say hi...see how you were. I hadn't seen you...since I got back."
