Here's where we put all the characters and their standings as part of their progress in the guild. If you read the Ranking system thread, we mentioned about the requirements and how would it goes.

Also, this would help the Staffs and student councils to keep track of the students if they were able to attain their goal reaching for their spells.

Remember, your character won't be able to use her/his magic during the NOVICE rank. He/She would be able to acquire their first skill once they reach their MAGE-hood.
