This is a personality contest for newbies! What that means is a person with one or less Herla are eligible to enter into this contest. Each growing baby has edits that are vaguely showcased in a quick little picture for you and mommy deer [ - bricked - ] is a standalone.

● Be nice. Don't discourage anyone and so on. Or else I won't let you play.
● You may enter for multiple Herla, but you may only win one.
● If entering for multiple Herla from this contest you must post each form as a new post. This way it's easier for us to go through and see what's what.
● You may not gift away Herla won from this contest.
● Genders are predetermined and cannot be changed.
● Insanity_Of_The_loveless and Thy Reaper will be judging this, but should we not be able to decide together, Poison Ivy Josephine will be our tiebreaker.
● If there are too few entrants towards the end of the contest, I may open up to "regulars" with more than one Herla.
● The phrases at the top of the codes don't mean anything. I just wanted to be ridiculous. But they do need to stay there so I can easily see which one you're going for.
● Above all: please, don't be a sore loser if you didn't win there is always next time.

Personality blurb: Sabola is a wild and daring child. Growing up he seeks adventure and the freedom to wander. Of course he loves his mother, and although he's distant from his family, he never misses a visit to see his family. After all, he is the free spirited son. Sabola is unafraid of danger, but for his family's sake, he always takes precautions. After all, injury is hardly a good reason to miss a family gathering. He is distant from others and has a bit of an arrogant streak.

Personality blurb: "I do miss him so much..." It was that strange dream again. The one that made her feel as though she was not alone.In her rest, she could even feel her heart pounding. "No...he did not leave of his own will." She never knew whom she spoke to, but it was always the same. She was settled alone, her three babies around her, all deep in their own sleep while she was awake, but it was a dream. She knew because when she tried to nuzzle one of her children, her nose passed right through.

"I know he was strong... I want to believe that he is still out there somewhere." A small smile settled on her face. She missed her lover, the father of her young ones.He had saved her after all. He had given her gifts and loving words and she only could feel that it was not so deserved. For she was a simple female, and he was a great male. He cared and loved her as she cared and loved him. But as it seemed to be, just as she went to continue to speak... the shadow things started to creep in. The Herla that were nor Herla. She knew they were not real, but... they scared her so much.

"Leave them alone! My children have done nothing!" She'd lept to her hooves, prepared to give her life for the sleeping young, but just as they moved in, they were as quickly gone, replaced by a solid form, faceless, but smiling and proud, loving. "You...saved me...." He was always there when she needed that protection. And the same always happened right after. She woke up, tears streaming from her eyes, and looked to the sky.
"Thank you....my love..."

Temperament: Motherly
Personality blurb: Moa looked at her three children and smiled. She would never give them up, even if it would mean finding her mate again. She loved him, she missed him, and his absence was like a hole in her heart. But even finding him, if it meant the loss of her precious babies, would mean nothing if the five of them could not be a family again. So she would wait. And she would teach her children, give them memories of the father they would likely never know. She would love them all enough for both of them, and she would hope. She would hope that one day, perhaps even after their children were grown, that he would find her again. That they could once more be together and be happy. Until that day, she would wait, and she would love her children.

Personality blurb: Rory stood on a boulder, high above where his family gathered. He was the only male in the family, the only one who could keep them all safe. And oh, how they challenged him. Well, his sisters did, anyway. His mother was the safest one of all, never getting into any trouble. He had to admit, at least to himself, that he loved her the most. He loved his sisters, too, of course, but they could push buttons on him that no others could touch.

Even so. He loved them all, and he would protect them. It was his job, his life, his goal.
