I've been wanting to do a date sim game for a very long while but all by myself is very hard. I have no problem in creating the code or situations much less the story and characters. Art is also fun for me to create BUT the sprites... pain in the a**.

Basically here's the thing, if I go through with this I might have some Gaia NPCs in it (female of course, sorry but I won't be making it so you can choose gender) but basically the idea is to auction/sell a spot for your character.

For example, if Nyuna wants to have her character in the game she would pay 1k for every line her character has. (by line I don't actually mean a sentence, more like how many dialogue boxes she has). That's for a casual character (NPC) but if she wanted to be one of the dates then she would be paying more. (Don't know how much atm but it'ld be over 20k 'cause those characters get scenes so the ammount of art is larger)

Another example if Jax or Seisuke wanted to join as well then they have only one option, as an NPC. They might be a shop owner, teacher, student, whatever.

I need people to help me out, namely artists. Here's the list of what I need:

1- sprite artists
2 - inkers
3- colorists
4- illustrators

I plan of using game CGs backgrounds to avoid a brain tumor working so hard for nothing. Anyone that helps me out gets their character in for free. Sadly I plan on doing it in RPG maker and I'm pretty sure one of the rules is to not profit from it even if it's virtual profit. It'll be available for only those that join either by buying the spot or by helping me out.

The game will have a superhero theme so that means that when you choose to enter you can select between hero or villain. The game won't be Gaian in a sense that you'll fight characters in Barton Town or Durem, it'll be Gaian because there will be Gaian avatars in it. So you have to build your character using Gaia's items.

Well I'll be using RPGMaker XP for it 'cause not only is it easy to use it also has support for nice graphics and it... forgot the term but basically the files aren't open for everyone to use.

This is the most basic art the game requires. As I have little to no luck getting inkers I imagine the illustrator will end up inking the image so I included a cleaned version.

The art (while I don't have the exact size yet) must be drawn at 144 resolution. Then it'll be sent to the painter who will work on it at 144 as well.

The spriter will resize it to 72 res and will add a base color that isn't in the character's palette for transparency. Will also cut out the excess of the outline.

There will be different types of images.

1. Dialogue boxes: For NPCs. Similar to the sample.
2. 3/4 body: Like regular Date sim illustrations where you can see the character above the textbox.
3. Scene art: The scenes will work kinda like a comic book so there will be panels involved. (sadly RPG maker doesn't support gif so no animations)

Probably, I haven't played PS4 but a former friend of mine showed me some pics so unless I'm remembering wrong it is similar.
