The night's rest was good for all of them, and Calder was glad his boilfriend had such a big, comfortable bed. While he worried about everyone, he waved them all goodbye, hugged them, and told everyone that if they needed anyone to talk to or come over, to call him. Then, with one click, the door was shut leaving Calder alone with his boilfriend - and he really was happy just to turn and see Barth and be here. Alive. In his dorm.
Trotting over, Calder flopped down on the coach next to the boil and leaned against him, resting his head against his shoulder. "Thank you for letting everyone crash here. I didn't want everyone going home to think alone by themselves. Amrita really needed it." His slender arms wrapped over the demon's neck, nuzzling him and just letting out a long 'mmm' as he breathed in familiar scent of the boil he loved.

"No need to apologize," Barth mumbled, half-buried in the couch arm. "I'd prefer if there was a lot more-" he yawned, "crashing and a lot less dashing."
Christof and Calder had both risked more than their lives going after Amrita...but there hadn't been any casualties this time. That he knew of. Of the rescuers.
"I'm at a dead end with the research," he admitted. "I wish the Horsemen would use those trance states for something less emotive and more informative."

Calder flopped down, laying across Barth's lap and turning his head just so in order to talk to his boilfriend. "I don't think the horsemen want to give information. They keep saying they want to guide us, and show up out of the blue, but they never really explain much. Just a lot of trances. I don't know what to think with them. I like that they give us help and gave us a chance to save Amrita, but I don't feel like it's getting us anywhere."
He wasn't sure what to do, and instead felt more frustrated than sure of himself these days. "I wish we could just fix things, but if it was that easy and someone knew how, I bet they would have done it by now." He hated these thoughts, and instead shuffled down in order to set his head on his boilfriend's lap.
