I've had this going for about a year but I still don't have enough entries, I just don't know what to do about it anymore, or where I could get more entries, perhaps a Gaia contest would be better? Ah, I see there is some confusion... donne worry, I keep confusing myself as well. Ok, if you want to participate in the first challenge, you have to pixel my original character Cy, however, there are three challenges, and to qualify for the final round (grand prize, etc...) you just need to have participated in two of the challenges, so if this one is too hard, any of the other two are ok as well. Quote: The end date for the first challenge is March 31st, so time's almost up for that one. That one will close and voting will begin, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and runner up winners will instantly qualify for the final round (there are very few entries so the odds of winning are pretty high). The the second challenge will begin, which is to pixel a doll with an ethnic outfit, something specific your country/culture of choice (kimono, greek robes, Native American, Africa, etc.) When that one ends voting will begin on the second round, the winners from those go on to the next round, and if you participate in both, but didn't win, you can participate again in the last round, but you must have participated in both in order to qualify. The third round will be to pixel a doll based on Art Nouveau (think: Alphonese Mucha). Finally, the final round will be with the winners from all of those... Ok.... hmm, I'm reading all this and it sounds too complicated, I'm confusing myself, so... let's just say that there are 3 challenges for you to pick from, the first one ends soon, but you can pick any of the other two as well. When all three end, I'll take the winners from each of them and that will be the final round. If you participated in all three then you have 3 entries, if you only did two, then you have two, if you only did 1, then 1. Participating in all three increases your chances of winning. So, the final round will be the top 4 winning dolls of each of the three challenges, whoever wins first place gets the grand prize, or their choice of prize if they don't want it. If first place doesn't want the grand prize, then it's offered to second, and so one. I can offer other prizes too, not just those listed (for example... I could put in a Gaia donation in your name, or buy you a gift, like a book or a movie that you really wanted, from Amazon.com or a print from DeviantArt.com of your favorite artist... etc... anything as long as it's reasonable. I have a class now (yeah, on a saturday crying ) but if it's still confusing, let me know and I'll try and explain again. I also have to change the contest page to explain things better... and fix the broken links! So sorry about that! Thanks Triel for posting the correct link!

Just tell me... should I doll those -now-? You don't have to doll the other two if you don't want to, dolling them just increases your chances of winning. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners of each of the three rounds go on to the final round, so having a doll in each of the three rounds increases your chances of winning because if you just happen to win one of those places in the three rounds, that means you have three entries in the final round. If you only win one of the challenges, then you only have one entry. Let's say I did a doll for all 3 challenges, but I only won 2nd place for Challenge #2, and didn't place in either 1 or 2, that means I only have one entry for the Final Round. If I happened to win 2nd place in Challenge #2 and 4th place in #3, then I have 2 entries in the final round, and so forth. Does that make more sense? Ooh, if you decide to participate in the other challenges, you can start the dolls whenever, since there is no ending date for those yet, but they are up so people will have a chance to get started just in case they want to.

Hmm.. I have a question. Are we allowed to enter more than one entry in one of the contests? Like.. I have two that I'd like to do for contest #2 for example. If it was stated somewhere I'm sorry.. sweatdrop
