Firecats are the basic feline species on the island. Fully grown Firecats range in weight from about 15 pounds to 25 pounds (6.8-11.4kg) and stand about 14 inches (35 cm) tall.

Originally found only in the deepest caves of the Sacrosanct Peaks, the more adventurous of the Fluff Tail Clans have slowly begun exploring the world around them. The firecat's furrier cousins find the slightly cooler lands to be more desirable.

An elderly alchemist was experimenting with various creatures. The result was a chimera made up of a cat, a snake, and a goat. Some have more natural markings, others are a bit more fantastical, owing their more unique markings/colors the the other critters used in the experiments.

Angelic Firecats are attuned to higher energies and as such, limit their time with the "lower" species. They are rare, and only recently decided to grace us with their presence. The gem on their forehead is a gift from the Fire Goddess, signifying their blessed state.

The world is their playground and the other inhabitants their toys. Like their higher brethren, Demonic Firecat are rare.
