One of the greatest place for star gazing. The lake has a great view of the night sky and also the stars. Its also a great place to take a swim or even a date. Its rumored that if you confess your love to the person you like here at the lake and the sky is filled with stars. There's a high chance of being rejected answered with a 'yes'. Also, there's a legend that if you wish under a shooting star. That wish will come true.

Anders Couswell Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters
Since there wasn't much going on Anders decided now would be the best time to sketch. He sat several feet away from the lake's edge, his knee propped up to keep the sketch pad balanced as his pencil flew across the page. Somehow choosing to come here was a great idea. There were barely any people that he knew around, and none of his students were in sight. Or so he hoped. For all he knew one of them was probably sleeping in the bushes. If they were they better stay in that spot. He refused to have his chance like this whisked away by a weird student, and there were plenty of those in Resonance Academy. Come to think of it he forgot to put his supplies away in the classroom, then there's that small matter about coming up with an assignment for those so-called students. Wait - why was he thinking of Resonance when here he is trying to get away for several minutes??
He shook his head roughly and stared out at the lake. The sun shined onto the clear water so perfectly that it hurt to stare at it. Anders came close to taking his glasses off and continue to work, but that meant creating strange blurs even he couldn't make sense of. The glasses had to stay.

Nothing gives one person so much advantage over another as to remain always cool and unruffled under all circumstances...
After dumping er stuff at the school, where she would be doing student teaching for a while, Ally decided to go on a little tour of Resonance Skies since she'd never really been to the city and it might be nice to get a bit of a look around. At any rate, she eventually found herself at a lake where she spotted a man not far off, drawing.
When she saw the water, she'd been thinking of having a bit of a rest but she wasn't sure, with someone else there. But after a few minutes of hesitating, she finally wandered over--though not too close, and sat down, drawing her knees up as she stared at the water.
She glanced at the man, who was some ten feet away and said cautiously, "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"
...I'm not the kind of person who tries to be cool or trendy, I'm definitely an individual.

Anders Couswell Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters
All in all Anders was having a good day. Emphasis on the "was". His peaceful quiet atmosphere was interrupted by a feminine voice not too far from him. Out of the corner of his eye he glanced towards the voice at a long haired brunette. Another teenager so soon? That didn't seem unexpected to say the least. There weren't any other people around them - the nearest being maybe fifteen feet away - so that left the only person at the opposite end of the conversation being him. But just to be sure, he glanced around before returning to the brunette huddled up a few feet away. Well, since she asked.... Anders held back a snort before replying to her question. "As long as a bird doesn't fly over me and decide to drop a present on my head, it is nice. It's much better than dealing with thunderstorms and buckets of rain." Then again he wouldn't be sitting under a tree in the middle of a storm. Getting carried up by the wind sounded unappealing to him. But what a picture that would be....
Anders hand stopped moving across the page. The outline was finished; all that was left was the shading and possibly a few extraneous details, then he could leave the lake behind for the day. The brunette didn't make a comment about the bird or storm thing. He smirked over at her, saying, "I haven't seen you around before. Are you a new here?" Not that he could care less. He barely remembered half of his students unless they said something to him or made an impression on him. It still didn't hurt to ask.
