: Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. As soon as he left class, Peter went to find somewhere quiet to catch a quick nap. He'd thought about the student lounge, but when he got there, there were a few people there, including that loud magician kid with weird clothes (his clothes were almost louder than his mouth, which was kind of disturbing).
At any rate, he gave up on that and wandered around for a while, ducked into the kitchen to swipe an apple while the staff weren't looking, then found himself in the library. Eventually.
It seemed to be mostly abandoned from what he could see so he found the most convenient spot--which was behind the counter--and curled up with his apple. He decided to save it for later and clutched it tightly to his chest before curling up on the floor and falling asleep. All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

.:l Kim Phan l:. "If you don't like how things are, change it!
It was her first day here, and already, Kim had missed out on class. Eh. She was pretty sure she'd be given leniency. After all, cramps always made the perfect excuse. She really didn't have them, but hey, it wasn't like people could actually demand proof for that stuff. Truth be told, she had just been too busy applying on layers of make-up to bother looking at the time. While she already looked amazing without the glam, it couldn't help to add to it. By the time she finished up and was strolling through the halls, first period was already over, so being fashionably late was off the list.
Now what else was there to do? It was a break, so that meant finding minions friends that can do her bidding be stuck with her for the rest of the school year. The best place for that was definitely the library since it was filled with loners and nerds lonesome and intelligent people that might need a bully friend.
Entering the library, Kim scanned the room, but it seemed rather deserted. Damn. No meeting new people for her then, but that didn't mean she should just waste her time coming to the library for no reason. Checking out a book would at least give her visit purpose. With a bit of skimming, she chose a several books involving the history of fashion in various time periods before carrying them over to the main desk. Hm. There didn't seem to be a librarian coming by anytime soon, so making a mess of things should be good activity to do in order to pass time. As she pulled out a tube of glitter from her purse glitter was always needed, Kim leaned over the desk, ready to leaving a sparkly trail of fairy dust when she saw some guy dozing off while grasping onto an apple.
Ohoho? There was a change of plan now. With one tilt of her wrist, Kim ended up spilling the glitter all over the guy instead. Oops~.

Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. Peter...did not move at all when glitter was dumped on him. Well, until he inhaled some up his nose, at which point he wrinkled his nose, rubbed his face and promptly had a sneezing fit that woke him up. When he fully came to, he was sitting up, wondering what the hell was wrong with his nose and why his shirt was sparkly.
He looked up and saw some strange girl standing over him with what looked like an empty container of something. He glanced down at his sparkly body, up at her, back down and, finally, said, "You can't have this apple."
Because that was clearly the only reason anyone would be leaning over him looking so devious. All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

Verne Montgomery
Verne entered the library, the top half of her short frame mostly hidden by a large stack of books she was carrying in front of her. Despite the fact that she knew she shouldn't, it was a bit of a hobby of hers to go to swap meets and thrift stores in search of new books to add to "her" library. The money came out of her own pocket, but books were never expensive at thrift stores. And besides, she knew for a fact that they didn't have any complete sets of the "Collier's Junior Classics" books, which despite being for much younger readers, were still a decent read (especially the two volumes of fairy tales.) How could she resist adding them to her growing collection of things to read- er... books for the student to peruse? She'd hate to deprive them of such gems of literature, whether fiction or fact.
She heard someone sneezing as she approached the counter. Well, that was fine. She couldn't really get on someone for being loud if they were just sneezing, though from the sound of it, they hadn't had the decency to cover their mouth. Now she was going to have to clean the tables again most likely... Or... maybe not? It sounded like the sneezing was coming from the...
She set her stack of books down on the counter and blinked in surprise at the scene before her. Well... it wasn't so much surprise as pure, unadulterated, horrified shock. Some girl (who was FAR too tall for her own good) was standing behind the counter. HER counter. And... on the floor, was a boy, covered in glitter, holding an apple. Of course, the boy wasn't the only thing covered in glitter. The floor behind the counter was also powdered with the stuff. Glitter... She was NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET RID OF IT. THERE WAS SO MUCH, AND THE VACCUME WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET IT ALL AND IT WOULD END UP MIGRATING TO EVERY CORNER OF THE LIBRARY AND BE THERE FOREVER. Her eye twitched slightly.
"What... Exactly do you two think you are doing?" She said venomously. "You!" She jabbed a finger at the boy. "What are you doing under my counter? Why do you have food? Did you not see the signs? Those big ones outside the doors that say: No food or drink in the library? In the giant lettering? Are you blind? And YOU!" She moved her finger to aim at the girl as if it were some deadly weapon. YOU... GLITTER... EVERYWHERE." Her face turned red behind her freckles. "Why did you? What were you? Do you realize just exactly how long it's going to take to get rid of this... this nonsense? This glittery, glittery nonsense?" She shoved her glasses back up the bridge of her nose and struck a menacing pose, her arms folded in front of her.

Blink. That wasn't exactly the reaction Kim had expected. It was supposed to be more along the lines of the guy practically wailing about the lack of manliness of glitter glitter was glitter, so she didn't see how manliness has to have any part in it, but this worked as well. After all, the unexpected was a good thing. It meant that she didn't have to worry about stereotypical dudes with egos the size of Jupiter. She'd take possessive behavior over fruits any day. It made life more interesting.
With a snort, Kim was about to make some crude comment about some other kinds of apples the guy could have when... a midget decided to storm in and breathe fire on them. Here it came. Rantrantblahblah. Did it look like she cared? Obviously not since she kept her focus on her nails. Speaking of which, they looked as though they needed a new coat sometime soon. She'd have to take note to do that when she had time and wasn't being yelled at. Better yet, it would have been better if she did do it now. Too bad she left her nail polish back in her room.
It was only until the hag finally decided to shut the hell up that Kim bothered to glance up to answer. Kim sighed as if her answer alone was too much to really deal with which... was true. "Congrats on pointing out the obvious. I suppose you deserve a reward for that, Sherlock. Oh, wait, I take that back. After all, it's completely obvious that my friend here is blind and suffers from hypoglycemia, but if you want to keep poking fun at him, go right on ahead." Well, Kim didn't have a clue about that, but hey, if she could make this shortstop seem like an a**, then she was all for it. Of course, it was all up to the guy if he was willing to play along.
"As for the glitter...." She smirked. "... have fun with that. It's a pain to get rid of that crap."

Peter Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. "Yup, blind as a bat," Peter said. "And hypoglycemic." Whatever that was. He missed out on a lot of the conversation as he had a tendency to tune women out the moment they started wailing like banshees but he did catch the bit the one girl said about him being blind so he figured he'd go with it. "It's not like I'm eating the apple, or it's going to hurt anything."
He yawned loudly. "But if you want to keep yelling about it, feel free. Though, aren't you supposed to be quiet in a library? So you're kind of yelling at people about breaking rules while breaking a rule yourself. Kinda hypocritical there, aren't we? I mean, not that I have anything against hypocrites. I'm just pointing it out, you know? I mean, it's not like people get publicly flogged for hypocrisy like they apparently should for having an apple in the library."
"Anyway, now that we've established my friend and I are the devil incarnate, can I go? I have the sudden urge to skip around the grounds singing about ponies and the magical properties of friendship. Oh, I'm going to need my friend for that--she's kind of my seeing eye dog. Except not a dog."All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

Verne Montgomery
Verne bristled. These two BRATS. They must have had very traumatic childhoods to have learned how to press someone's buttons this well. She wondered how many schools they had been expelled from before winding up here... She wanted to give them both a smack on the face, but that would just end up getting her in trouble in the long run, and besides, she'd have to get a stepladder to hit the tall one.
She took a deep breath, then sighed, attempting to let her frustrations ooze away as she lifting her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose with her thumb and index finger. "... Cute. Very... cute. Honestly, nice teamwork there. I thought kids these days wouldn't even know what hypoglycemic meant without looking it up in a dictionary." Kids these days? She wasn't that much older than them... "But really, congratulations. Very smooth. I mean, I don't believe a word of it, but really, impressive." She yawned. "Great, now you got me doing it." She nudged Peter with her toe. "You shouldn't yawn in a library... it's bad luck... Anyways, I sure don't believe you, but there aren't any ways I can actually prove whether or not you're blind... without being fired that is. Of course, that's what's clever about it isn't it? Hmm... That being the case, this is what we're gonna do."
She glared at Peter with every ounce of hatred she could muster from the darkest depths of her soul. "You... you're free to go Mr. sunshine. But if I ever see you in this library again you'd BETTER be acting as blind as a deaf bat in a soundproofed room, you got that? Though I don't see why you'd ever feel the need to come back. We don't have any books in braille." She smiled at him, then turned her attention to the giantess. "And you. She-hulk. Why don't you go ahead and help your poor hypoglycemic friend to the door? I'm sure a soda from the vending machine will probably help his constitution a lot more than you dumping your disgusting glitter down his nose. Speaking of which, I now happen to have all this glitter on the floor here, and no time to clean it all up! good thing you've volunteered to do it for me next weekend. I really appreciate it." ZHAIRENE XYZA NAOE "When I was a child, the story would say Somebody will sweep you off your feet some day That's what I hoped would happen with you More than you could know" ❥ Zhai is currently inside the library sitting right next the window.. She's reading something on hand while giggling like a teenager..
Ahh~~ True love really prevails in all aspect. Good thing this library somehow provides a good reading material when it comes to romance and love stories. Though she failed to teach her class earlier being stuck inside this library after being amazed of those potential couples right around the corner..
Once more she gave a soft giggle while hugging the book against her chest.. This what she needs, a good inspiring story before doing the next paragraphs for her own romance novel..
Out of no where she turned her head and saw something significant.. A Christmas tree inside the library? really?.. Ohhh.. As far as she could remember, the season for joys and giving is almost here.. And for sure there were lots of couples will do the famous 'kissing under the mistletoe'
Teehihihi! Zhai would probably need to see that! Or.....
Aha! She had an idea brewing inside her charming mind.. "A girl can dream, It's true.... And to call you my own It's the sweetest dream I know" (( emotion_awesome ))

Verne Montgomery
Verne wobbled hesitantly. For the love of god, whoever had had the brilliant idea that the library should be decorated for the winter festivities was an idiot and a half-
or... it was her idea wasn't it? Stupid, what had she been thinking? Getting a real (unfortunately large ) christmas tree put in here, and then decorating it herself. She was disastrously uncoordinated at the best of times and now here she was, standing on tiptoes on the highest rung of the tallest ladder she had (one that was supposed to be reserved for getting books from higher shelves" trying to fit a nice, shiny red ornament onto a branch that was just out of her reach. Curse her diminutive height! if she could just... get it...
There! Now she only had to hang the rest of the box... too bad she had only brought one ornament up with her...

Anders Couswell Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters Anders entered the library with a box full of tinsel. How he got into this situation with helping decorate the campus was completely beyond him. So what if he had forgotten to teach his Art class? Coffee was more important than the chaos in that room. Of course he had to leave campus to go find some of the good stuff. He shook his head and looked around the large room filled with books. Once he was finished perhaps he could pick up a couple of titles and read them later that night; he was running out of good things to read lately. He leaned back a little to glance at the name written on the box. Verne. He hadn't met this fellow yet. And it was a first to meet a male librarian. As he got farther in he became distracted by the large tree standing in the center with someone placing an ornament somewhere on its massive branch. Finally, he found someone! She looked like the assistant helping out this 'Verne' person. And there was even another person sitting at the table, giggling uncontrollably. Why she wasn't helping much he didn't know.
He was focusing on the tree too much to realize he was walking into a chair. His foot caught on one of the legs, sending him flying with his box til he landed on his face. The tinsel flung out, several strands of it landing on Anders head and several more landing in random places. Removing his face from the floor, he glared at nothing in particular and stared at the tinsel. At least it made it into the library, but this meant he had to pick it up....

ZHAIRENE XYZA NAOE "When I was a child, the story would say Somebody will sweep you off your feet some day That's what I hoped would happen with you More than you could know" ❥ She had a brilliant plan! Yeah.. That's it.. A nice mistletoe on one of the trees outside and put a booth there maybe? Zhai would have to count all those couples making out in that chilly winter days and nights! How about placing a hidden camera there? well that will be nice too!
Teehihihi--------?!
She was interrupted by a ruckus nearby, it sounded like a pile of stuffs right there.. Zhai drifted and turn to see a girl around her age maybe busy for the Christmas Tree.. Ohh..
Zhai decides to return her attention back to the book when all of a sudden another noise was heard, this time its much closer. Wait aren't libraries supposed to be an area of silence? Furthermore it sounded like it hit one of the chairs.. People nowadays doesn't know what the word 'respect' means..
She stood up while clutching the book against her chest and decides to see this... Oh?? A male?.. Did he just?..
"You should be careful next time... Here let me help you." Zhai knelt down and start to fix his box.. Her eyes caught on the glasses near the said item.. She reached for it and offered it to the 'lame' fellow next to her..
"I believe this is yours..."
Now this made her see his face from here.. Wait.. He seemed familiar... He's... Oh... My.... God...
"Y-Y-You!" "A girl can dream, It's true.... And to call you my own It's the sweetest dream I know" ((OOC: If you wouldn't mind letting his glasses flew too haha that way the fun starts right here emotion_dowant ))

Anders Couswell Be careful of the curse that falls on young lovers Starts so soft and sweet and turns them to hunters Anders reached forward towards the tinsel and grabbed at it. It felt more like carpet to him than shiny plastic. And to make matters worse... Wait, better, since the lady sitting at the table came up and offered to help. "Thank you," he replied bluntly, sitting up as several strands of tinsel fell. He didn't understand why her face was so blurry until she held out his glasses. He squinted up at her, trying to find her features while he reached for his glasses in an unknown direction. They looked like they were in one place, than another. Either way he was grabbing at air.
The girl (or woman, he couldn't see anything anyways, but she was obviously female) stuttered "you" at him and he didn't understand why. Anders continued to squint at him while trying to grab his glasses. "Yes, I'm 'me', but that's not my name. Can you hold still for a second?" His hand reached up to pull the remaining tinsel from his hair.

ZHAIRENE XYZA NAOE "When I was a child, the story would say Somebody will sweep you off your feet some day That's what I hoped would happen with you More than you could know" ❥ Is he for real??
Her eyes starts to sparkle disregarding this man is trying to grab his glasses from her hand, not to mention those cute sprouting tinsel above his head which he's trying to remove..
Zhai heard him perfectly about staying still.. So he wants her to stay there with him??? Ohmygod!Ohmygod!Ohmygod! Now, Libraries isn't also a place for reading romance novels, somehow this can be also a perfect place for finding true love too!!
She gave out a 'dreamy' sigh and moved her hand placing the glasses over her eye---- WHOA!! Darn! he's... he's blind?!! From the moment Zhai thought her world will start on spinning around her from wearing those thick glasses, she immediately took it off! How high his grade be??! But anyways, it doesn't matter.. It's like her most awaited love story starts here..
Ignoring the lady at the Christmas Tree.. She would definitely had her eyes on him... Or maybe Zhai wouldn't give his glasses back? A souvenir.. Then he will definitely find her.. The girl who had his glasses and they were like searching for each one.. It's like Cinderella.. Instead of a shoe, its a pair of glasses.. Then he would probably ask her out as a way of his gratitude for helping him.. They will go out several times, watch movies.. Sweep off her feet.. Then...Then....
"Yes... You..." Out of no where, she made a wide smile while blushing, responding to his low tone voice.. He's the person she might be looking for... her inspiration, her prince charming.. her... Knight in shinning armor..
"Me... What a perfect name.. For a perfect guy like you... I'm Zhai.. but you can call me 'YOURS'"
