I have a deep, undying love for Hunter x Hunter. The manga, the first anime/ova run, the recent do-over anime, it's all brilliant in my eyes. Surprisingly few people I know have watched it, so I'm really hoping that the 2011 remade anime will help more fans find it.

Little summary thing, just in case anybody wants one:
In the world of Hunter x Hunter, there is an organization made up of extraordinary people. These people are known as Hunters.
The story follows a young boy who wants to leave the isolated island he lives on and become a Hunter in order to track down his father and the people he meets along the way. The Hunter exam brings together people from all over the world and tests their skills, fighting abilities, knowledge and strength of will in a unforgiving series of trials.

It's written by Yoshihiro Togashi of YuYuHakusho fame. That said, I find the characters more charming and the world more interesting in HxH than in YYH.
