Night was beginning to settle into Kodo. The sun had set and twilight was upon them with just the last few colorful hues of light showing above the horizon. Something that could barely be seen deep within the forest. Only the sounds of wild Pokemon and the crackling of a fire could be heard.
The flames flickered, and a soft glow bathed the forms of one very large and oddly colored Arcanine. The light also glinting off the metal that was his former shackle on one leg. A set of deep blue eyes remained watchful, protecting a human and a Growlithe from the dangers of the wild that surrounded them.
The Growlithe, one blue scarred dog, was curled up nearby, getting some much needed rest after the day's previous battle. Earlier he had helped the Arcanine pick up sticks and set them ablaze for the fire they now enjoyed.
Finally, there was a young man who was still out cold. Yuri's limp form was resting against the Arcanine's side, completely unawares. The large dog would remain until he was certain that the both of them would be all right.

"Well that sure looks like a pretty clumsy fire, doesn't it."
Within the chirping of the nocturnal wild, an amused voice wafted from the leaves of a particular tree. barely reaching to the end of the branch, as a tall, wiry figure leaned forward, allowing mossy green eyes to gain a better view of a glow set not to far from where the figure perched.
From aside a braining of ash gray hair, something let of a high pitched squeak, and brown wings fell open from around a zubat's body, the small creature stopped moving then, able to smell the fire that the women had spoken of.
"Hmm, It had been a while since I saw someone wandering around these woods." a wide grin flashed back at the Zubat "Old battle training habits die hard you know!"
A hearty laugh cut the air twice before the long form dropped down from the tree branch, and thudded heavily onto the ground below.
The walk didn't take too long, following the direction, the occasional flicker through the trees, and the smell of the burning wood, she was barely to the point where she could make out forms... easily the one of a large pokemon, but so far that was all.
Not making an effort to be stealthy at all, in fact. if anything she was purposely tromping loud enough to announce her presence, is the added -"Heeey there! Fellow camper!" -wasn't enough.

Two sets of ears perked up as the intentional sounds of approach could be heard. The Arcanine turned his head in the direction of the oncoming human, lip curling in a warning snarl. While this human needed someone of his own kind, it was his own kind that had done this to all of them. Thus the legendary Pokemon would remained cautious until it was known whether this was friend or foe.
Repede lifted his head, also looking with his one eye. Before she even appeared, he caught her scent and stood. He knew this person, and when she came into clear view, his tail wagged slowly and he wuffed out a greeting. He then turned towards the Arcanine and explained in a series of barks that this woman was all right, she was an ally. Thus the larger dog's growls quieted down. If that was the case, then he was no longer needed.
Repede then made his way over to their visitor, just as the Arcanine rose to his paws. No longer with any support, Yuri's limp form fell back and hit the ground with a thud and a loud groan.

WOOH! Now THAT was an Archanine. You certainly don't see specimine like that everyday, though she had to note, Kodo seemed to be rather full of very unique and interesting looking pokemon. Rayan saw a theme for this place already.
He didn't seem at all pleased that Rayan was approaching, but she just flashed it a cool grin, and lifted her hands to show that she wasn't dangerous. That was untill a smaller pokemon moved, this one she knew.
"Repede!" She laughed, "Hey little bud, didn't expect to see you out here." Rayan glanced around "So then where did Yuri-"
Her question was answered before she even had to finish it, the uncontentious form of Yuri topping down to the ground as the larger pokemon stood.
The ex-trainer stood for a short time, staring at the pile in the ground, before she let out a whistle "Man, getting into fight again Yuri?" She said, though mostly to the pokemon since Yuri was unconscious. "Every time i see you you've got black and blue somewhere on your face." another chuckle twitched her shoulders and she walked over to crouch down by the younger man.

Yuri's pretty face was definitely marred. He had a nice cut with some dried blood on one cheek, and on the other side his jaw was massively swollen with a very ugly bruise. There was even imprints from a set of metal studs. It most certainly wasn't pretty.
The jostling seemed to be bringing him around though, finally. And the first thing Yuri was aware of, was the pain. Again he groaned, and then he thought he heard someone's voice. Black eyes fluttered just in time to see the massive, blurry form of an Arcanine starting to walk away.
The legendary Pokemon knew that Repede and his human would be fine at this point. He paused to look down at the waking human, then suddenly took off and dashed into the forest, followed by the light clinking of the metal chain.
Repede watched as the other dog left, then approached both Yuri and Rayan, sitting down beside them with a yawn.
"Ugh... damn..." Yuri muttered in a muffled tone, his speech a bit hindered thanks to his swollen jaw. He winced slightly as pain shot through his face just from speaking. OW.

"Yeah, 'damn' certainly is one way to put it" Rayan's thickly amused voice agreed, reaching a hand down to help get the younger man sitting up properly. "What happened to you Yuri?"
She wasn't even sure he even realized she was quite there yet. probably had a concussion or something. Ray knew enough to know that he should probably be in a hospital right now, not the middle of the woods, but the nearest hospital was a while away.
This kid, was lucky.

Yeah Yuri was pretty out of it, and he blinked dazedly as he was helped up. He slumped forward a bit to sit in a hunched over position. It took him a few moments, but he eventually seemed to register her words and looked towards his Rayan.
"Eh? Ray? The hell're you doin here?" His words were slurred thanks to his swollen jaw.
As far as luck, Yuri would disagree. He felt far from lucky at the moment. The question going completely brushed off for the moment.

"I'm stalking you." She said, dropping her grin to give him a very serious stare.
The look didn't last much longer though since a grin hitched back up shortly after.
"What took a chunk out of you?" She asked, leaning forward to examine some of his wounds.
She didn't pay much attention to the rapid flapping of wings from behind her, a soft chirping of a zubat coming from the trees.

Yuri gave Ray a look as if to say, 'Yeah right'. He snorted a little and then groaned as he tried to sit up straighter. He didn't miss that serious stare though.
"S'me guy an his burd," Yuri replied in his pained, muffled voice.
He reached behind his head and rubbed it, wincing as he realized it was tender back there from where he'd struck his head on that wall. The cut on his cheek was fairly superficial, but had been deep enough to crust over with blood. His swollen jaw was what stood out most though, a horrid bruise was there and the skin had broken where the metal studs had impacted. It wasn't pretty. He probably should indeed be in the hospital and getting X-rays... but... well, he wasn't.
