Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

The Rocket grunt entered the stadium dressed in normal attire, his Vulpix at his heels. The fox-like pokemon quickly leapt onto the static-filled field, ready for a battle.

The Vulpix bowed his head back respectfully. "I am called Ares. The same to you, my opponent," He replied. The vulpine pokemon was not as disrespectful as his master in the ways of courtesy.
"Now use Payback!"
Ares whipped his multipul tails in the direction of his opponent, sending Dark energy flying at him.

The dark energy assailed the ghost pokemon, but he held strong. He stared unblinking at the vulpix with his faintly glowing eye.

The Vulpix felt strange after that one red eye had stared him down. He couldn't grasp what exactly the change was though he knew it was a move.

The duskull was struck by a wayward burst of flame and raised his hand. Electricity crackled along his arm before launching at the vulpix, drawing power from the field.

The vulpix swiftly dodged the incoming streak of electricity.
"Now use Hex!" The ghost had a status infliction now and a weakness to Ghost type attacks; Clyde was quite please with his strategy for the moment.
Ares turned to his opponent and sent a wave of ghostly energy his way.

Darkness descended upon the field, lifting to reveal Mephistopheles leaving with Lenore.

The Vulpix bowed back before his opponent could depart. "Thank you, you fought bravely and honorably yourself. Good fortune to you in your future battles." Ares replied.
Clyde nodded at his Vulpix, very pleased that they had won. "Excellent. Nice work, Ares." The Rocket gave his companion a rare compliment.
