Sasha was in the cafeteria, simply watching her fellow Rockets go by and writing notes in her notebook. Beside her was Asceron, her trusty Charizard, similarly observing the people around him, but with a sort of detached interest. Occasionally, he would take a scrap of food off Sasha's plate for himself, but Sasha didn't seem to notice, or at least not to mind. Asceron was more reddish-orange than most Charizards, and his right arm bore a prominent scar. This Pokemon had a story, clearly. And coincidentally, that's exactly what Sasha was looking for: stories of trainers (...well, Rockets) and their Pokemon. She scanned the cafeteria, looking for someone who seemed like they'd be willing to come over and talk about their Pokemon. Would she be able to find someone with a tale to tell?

After a long damn session of training, a break was needed. He'd showered and changed but he still felt hot when he stalked into the cafeteria; cold drink and suchlike very much needed. Flanked by Tortie and Char, and with his tall powerful stature and scarred face Aulus was aware that he made something of an impression. He relished it. "Go get us somewhere to sit Char," he made a dismissive gesture with one hand, "And nobody obnoxious, I'm tired of exercise, so I don't want to have to beat anyone up."

The tall, skinny Charizard bowed to his trainer in acknowledgement, and then glanced around for a table with space at it. Ahh, yes, that corner would do; a girl, and a Charizard. Stumping over he addressed the other pokemon of his kind.

Sasha was quick to respond to the sudden appearance of another Charizard. "Oh, another Charizard!" She said gleefully, looking it over and scribbling in her notebook. Its unique coloring fascinated her; clearly, there'd be a story behind this one. After some writing, she began to look for the other Charizard's owner, though she was totally unsure just where to look. This resulted in her just glancing around aimlessly.

Asceron acknowledged the other Charizard with a smile and a nod.

Choice in the cafeteria was not exceptional, especially when you were a vegetarian. Aulus ended up with a baked potato with cheese and salad for the second day in a row, and resolved that he was damn well going out to the city shopping and cooking something up in Alex's room tomorrow. Curry? Maybe a stew, or he could have another go a quiche and hope it didn't come out like it had last time.

Scowling to himself he collected a glass of orange juice and cast around for Char. Seemed the whole world was out to piss him off today; the table his pokemon-butler had chosen was occupied. It looked like the least crowded one around though so he supposed he couldn't complain.

Looking as large, muscular, scarred and unpleasant as he could he stalked over to the table, Tortie matching his pace and expression perfectly. Setting his tray down on the table Aulus treated the girl with the notebook to a very hard stare, not sitting down just yet.

Char bowed his head slightly to the other Charizard. Looking rather thunderous. Honestly, in his personal opinion, Char thought his master could do with glaring a little less and connecting with other people a bit more. It wasn't his place to say that though, even if he had been able to communicate the sentiment.
