Sutai was singing during her patrol this time, bouncing through the park like an ice skater on a sugar high. She was making it up as she went along, swinging from the monkey bars with her telescope in the sand temporarily. Her crystals made her sound like a wind chime in a storm, tinkling together with her rapid movements.
"I'm Sutai~ Page of Polaris! I'm gonna save the day CUZ I'M AWESOME
I met my princess! She's so pretty! Just thinking about her makes me giddy~
Gotta save the day! Hip hip hooray! Protect the people from the monsters Cuz my princess says I hafta~"
The singing page made it to the end of the monkey bars and decided she'd write more lyrics later, after training! Scooping up her telescope, she returned to the play structure and attempted to climb atop the monkey bars for balance training. It was a good idea, right? Arms outstretched, telescope in one hand, Sutai began to hum her theme song while walking back and forth.

Though the Senshi of Tigers had made a "truce" with the Negaverse general Benitoite, Sailor Tsui had not stopped her nightly patrols. As a matter of fact, she was rather diligent with the task, though her motives were altered to fit to her new 'non lethal' approach to members of the Chaos faction. Unless, of course, they were youma, in which Tsui's only response to them was a quick Tiger Fist Strike to the face. And perhaps members of the Dark Mirror Court as well, but Negaverse lieutenants would be given the chance to flee or talk their way out of a fight. And thus far, this aspect had actually made her patrols less stressful, less likely to end up dead in a ditch somewhere. So while she wasn't intentionally looking for a fight, she was still on the look out, even if it was a stalk and observe from a safe distance stance. So, here she was on her nightly patrols, venturing a ways out of her usual turf in the search of a youma, and what did she see? A member of the Order faction, singing and dancing in the park. And despite how silly she looked, Tsui could definitely tell that this girl was definitely enjoying life, more so than most people she knew. Tsui didn't want to interrupt her little diddy but she did move closer, trying to fall back on the animal in her sphere and approach with stealth, if only to get a better look at her. At first she thought she was a Senshi, but something was different about her attire, and her aura. She was definitely Order; too pure and left her feeling warm, but it wasn't like Kallichore's or any other Senshi's she's felt. Thankfully, her song seemed to throw clues to the curious Tsui as she stood behind a nearby tree, and she mused to herself. 'Sutai, Page of Polaris? That's a long title... but a pretty name.'What caught her interest the most was the part where she sang about finding her Princess, and Tsui tilted her head to muse this, before remembering Kallichore's brief mentioning of a princess. Princess Polaris. Perhaps this 'Sutai' knew Kallichore and therefor was a friend? When she started to hum, Tsui felt it was time to make her presence known, and what better way than with a bang? Or, in her case, a little roar? She jumped out from behind the tree with a cartwheel and landed in front of her, and before she had the chance to turn and look at her, Tsui gave her a little clap, her praise genuine and not mocking in the least. "That was a nice song and you have a good voice... much better than mine..." ((Note to myself: THIS OCCURS BEFORE THE EVENT DELIBERATE DELIBERATIONS))

"EEP!"
Sutai still hadn't gotten the hang of the whole 'mental sweep for goodies and baddies' thing, so she didn't even realize there was anyone watching or listening while she made a fool of herself. Losing her balance in a flurry of limbs and crystals, the page came to land softly in the sand on her rear end with an oof! Blinking, golden eyes met the tiger in wonderment and Sutai stood up to brush herself off. Were all senshi like, ninjas or something and they could sneak up on... oh yeah. What Camelot said.
Senshi are good and they fight alongside us. They feel similar, but not the same. Remember, you can feel them with your mind. They'll help you so we can all protect the people of Earth. Also, I have an OMGWTFBBQLASER in my shield and it's totally cool. It's like, the bomb diggity.
Okay so Sutai made up that last part, but the rest of it still stood as true!
The page blushed furiously as she dusted herself off. "Well umm... thank you! I didn't realize I had an audience but uh... I'll practice more so I can motivate people or... or something!" Sutai struck a peace sign pose for no real reason. Other than it was cool. "Um... I'm Sutai! Page of Polaris! And you're a senshi! You have the tiara and the collar and whatnot like Pomona but you look different! Very different! Do you need help Miss Black-and-White Senshi? I can try to help! I have a telescope!"
As mentioned, Sutai extended her telescope and started looking for bad guys.

Tsui didn't think that she was going to scare her that much. Startle her, yes, but she didn't intend to make her fall on her butt, and it took much of her considerable will power to refrain from laughing. She felt like a terrible person to do so, but she meant not malice towards her. She was even willing to give her a hand, though she seemed content in helping herself to her feet and dusting herself off.
In regards to the title this Sutai gave her, Tsui looked at her own attire and made a sour face. "I get that a lot, actually. Miss Monochrome, Miss Black and White, you name it. I half wonder if the tailor for my sailor fuku was bored or ran out of colors when he or she made my outfit."
Tsui was optimistic enough, allowing Sutai to see it with a grand smile, though now she appeared interested in looking through that telescope of hers. "Maybe when I move on to Super status, I can get some color thrown in, or maybe even a few stripes. I mean, I Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers after all."
She gave her gemstone on her brooch a poke, the only place besides the gemstone on her tiara that had stripes. It didn't drag her down too much, and now she was interested in what Sutai was doing, as she stood besides her and tried to see with her regular golden eyes that she was looking at. Though it was hard with the crystals that dangled in her hair, and Tsui could never keep her comments to herself. "But it seems the cosmic tailor favored you. So, Sutai, Page of Polaris... what exactly is it that you do? What's a page?"
Honest questions for a curious Tsui; she admitted that she was still young, still curious and a bit naive, but she was willing to learn.

"Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers!" Sutai parroted and committed the senshi's fuku and other details to memory. "That makes sense, I mean, you're black and white and white tigers are, well, black and white. Or rather, white with black stripes but you get the idea! It suits you very well, and it's very cute! Your boots are fantastic and I like your neat bow!" The page pointed to Tsui's chest and traced the pattern of fabric in the air with her outstretched finger. "I think the cosmic tailor knows what she's doing! If you were all colorful, well, you wouldn't be recognized as a senshi of tigers! Maybe a senshi of tropical birds, but not tigers. Nope."
What exactly is it that you do? What's a page?
Oh boy, Sutai wasn't sure if she knew the answers to those herself. So she screwed up her face and thought for a moment before turning back to her senshi counterpart. "Well, Camelot and Caelian kinda explained it like this..." Folding her telescope back up, Sutai wedged it in her armpit so she could demonstrate with her hands. "See, knights and pages, that's us, we're from planets, like their protectors! Camelot is the knight of Earth and he lives to protect all the good people, like you guys do! But we get weapons. Except... mine's not really a weapon." The ice princess page took out her telescope again and turned it over in her hands.
"Camelot has a shield and Caelian is from Venus and she has a powder puff. They're the only one's I've seen... NO! Wait, I forgot Mr. Babylon! He's from Mercury and he carries this big glowy lantern around with him. It guides people in the dark! Babylon said he's a knight too, and he's very strong. We took down a youma at the jewelry store a few weeks ago!"
Nodding to herself, Sutai spilled the last bits of what she knew. "I know we don't have tiaras and stuff but Camelot has magic. Babylon does too! I think we get magic when we get stronger? But not like you guys. Camelot said it was different, but I'm not sure I understood it. I um... does that help?" Sutai tilted her head to gauge Tsui's reaction. It wasn't much information, but it was all the page was able to comprehend.

Tsui considered what she said. Everything, from her attire to the explanation of what a page was, and especially that last part about what had separated the two of them from each other. The way that Tsui crossed her arms was a clear sign of her interest in the subject, and it was only more obvious with the way that one of her hands tapped her own chin. That last part especially caught Tsui's interest. "So, you have magic, but only after you get to a certain rank or level of experience?" Tsui asked, though it was more or less rhetorical as Sutai was very thorough with her explanation and Tsui was saying it aloud to help herself to understand it. Then, she looked at the telescope, and her curiosity was at its peak as she eyed the tool. "And you get a weapon or an item whereas we do not? Are the weapons or items useful in a fight? Or do they have more practical uses elsewhere?" Tsui didn't want to bring up the thought of using a telescope as a weapon, especially a small one. Sure, if one was desperate, they could use it as a bludgeon or a mace, but this telescope seemed too small, too fragile and beautiful to want to cause any physical harm to it in the fist fight. Tsui was more or less concerned for her safety, to be out in the streets where anyone, or anything, could attack her, and maybe it was the Kallichore that had rubbed off on her that made her rather protective of Sutai's safety. Even if she personally had a truce, that didn't mean there wasn't danger lurking about...

"Well um..." Sutai honestly had no idea whether or not her item was actually a weapon, or could be used as one, though Babylon lobbed his lantern around like a badass. Camelot's shield was pretty effective too so maybe, just maybe, with lots and lots of practice... "I clonked a monster really hard on the head and fingers with my telescope and it didn't get all bent up or anything. Maybe it's super magical so it won't get destroyed when we're fightin' baddies?" The page looked excited about that. Maybe she didn't have to worry so much!
Tsui looked like she was really good at fighting baddies and was well on her way to earning her stripes at Super. "So umm... Tsui, how do we get stronger? I mean I know the baddies get stronger by doing bad things so do we get stronger by doing good things? Like clonking monsters in the face and falcon punching the bad guys? Walking old ladies across the street and stuff? How do you know when you're, you know... da nana na na NA NA NA! Ready to level up?!"
Yes, Sutai did just sing the Final Fantasy victory fanfare.

Relief swept over Tsui's mind at the mention of Sutai using the telescope for self defense, as the thought of someone with some kind of power being left completely defenseless in this city with all the youma and Chaos faction running about had made even Tsui uneasy. Tsui was confident that she could take care of herself, not so much in others, but at least it seemed that Sutai had a good head on her shoulders to use her tool to her full advantage and not just spying in the distance. Not that it wasn't useful, Tsui thought... "Well, weapon or not, that telescope is bound to give you an edge in combat, you know." Tsui looked away and put a hand over her eyes, as though she were searching, as she explained. "You can see the enemy from a long distance, thus giving you the advantage to properly prepare, whereas someone like me has to venture closer to get an idea of what I'm getting into. That could be really useful, you know." She was certain that Sutai knew that. Despite her little song and dance, she seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. Though Tsui almost questioned this when she turned her questions back to her, and the little diddy was certainly recognizable to a gamer such as Tsui, or rather, her civilian alter ego. She wanted to hum along with it, but the seriousness of the question made her fight the impulse and try to answer the question as truthfully as she could. "Honestly? I have no idea. I've fought a couple of battles, some alone, some alongside others. I've killed a few youma in my time, but never really think I got a clear victory over any Negaverse lieutenants or DMCers, unless you consider getting out of the experience with my head on my shoulders a victory," Tsui said, pulling at her dress and pondering the 'requirements' herself, as well as how her fuku would change. "I suppose I'll know when it happens, whenever it decides to happen. If it means having to knock out a few more youma and other baddies along the way to get my stripes, then so be it." Yes, she still had a 'truce' with General Benitoite, but youma and DMC were still fair game to Tsui. Not that Sutai needed to know this, but she was willing to break off her truce, should she see anyone of the Negaverse trying to harm civilians, or her allies, or friends. That was a given. "So, do you usually do your patrols alone or do you have a partner somewhere?" Once again, Tsui was concerned for her safety. Perhaps a bit of her sister was rubbing off on her after all.

The page nodded enthusiastically to Tsui's almost militaristic approach to explaining how one could use the telescope to one's advantage. Sure, she'd used it to spy great distances but the telescope's use as a proper weapon really escaped her unless she was in grave danger. "You think I could clonk a few more youma and then be as awesome as you? I could try! Maybe we could team up sometime? I really do like knowing a lot of senshi and knights - you can learn so much from different people and I really like learning."
The tiger senshi's battle recollections made the page stare in awe. "You killed Youma? By yourself? But it's so hard to smack one on the head, let alone actually kill one. I mean Babylon and Caelian and Camelot, they call killed youma. I mean, I helped Caelian! But still, I dunno if I could take one out by myself. Do you think I could ever get that strong, Tsui?" Now the nervousness was showing and the ice princess page started to fidget. She wasn't sure if she could ever become strong like Babylon and Camelot. She didn't know if she could protect the Earth like the others could. Like Tsui could.
"I try to find people when I'm out on patrol because I get scared being by myself... I know senshi have cellphones but I don't think we have them? So I just kinda... pick a direction and go that way and hope I find somebody nice. So far I've been pretty lucky! I just... I dunno what to do."

It was so hard not to want to gloat about her feats, but Tsui fought the urge down. Her sister told her that she should have tried to be a bit more humble, but sometimes it was just too hard for her to manage. A bit of her ego swelled and she figured that there'd be no harm in retelling the little story to Sutai; after all, it was nice to get some recognition every now and then, given that her patrols have been rather lonely lately. "Well, I'm just lucky that I happen to have a very offensive magic attack, though it could still use a bit of practice on my end," Tsui admitted, cracking her knuckles and actually looking as though she were going to initiate the attack with the stance she fell into. However, no white aura rose from her fists and arms this time, and the way she explained it could be compared to an old British hunter of yore, like the ones you'd see on those old tv shows where they were describing a particular hunt in a safari. "You see, when I do my Tiger Fist Strike, white power will gather in my hands, and in a rush of energy, I shoot forward, like a tiger giving its prey the fatal pounce. And as my arms come crashing down, like tiger claws, it pushes the enemy back, and in that particular case, that youma had no place to go as I had pinned it against the wall. Took two attacks, but I dusted him, nevertheless." She stood back straight and the way she held herself made it clear that though it were many moons ago, she was still quite proud of the feat. However, she didn't dwell on the subject too much, not wanting to spend too much time feeding her ego, especially when Sutai had mentioned being frightened of working along. Tsui herself wasn't too afraid of roaming the streets alone, but she couldn't fault the page for her very natural concern. Especially when all she had was a telescope for protection. "Well, I have a particular area that I call my own, my turf, so to speak. If you want, I can show you that area and you can always come by there whenever you want a partner for your patrols." Tsui offered, as though she usually did her hunts alone, she was never opposed to inviting a friend or two. "Maybe someday I can show you my Tiger Fist Strike, but don't worry. I usually don't find THAT much trouble in my area, so it's not like I'll be leading you into too much trouble. And, if there is trouble, then I'll do my absolute best to protect you." She held out a hand to express her desire for a partnership and friendship, and she wore a welcoming smile for her. "That sound good to you, Sutai?"

The ice page nodded with enthusiasm at Tsui's explanation. Wow, she sounded so powerful! So regal, just like the tiger! Sutai even began to mimic the tiger senshi's movements in an attempt to make her own Crystal Tiger Strike! ...but it didn't work. She'd have to live with the telescope for now. Maybe she'd one day get lasers for her telescope and get like... super magical magic beams of death and doom and she could dust whole zipcodes of youma?! That would be totes amazing, if she did say so herself. "I'd love to go patrolling with you, Tsui! That would be a lot of fun! I'd like to see your super duper Tiger Fist Strike in action! That would be really super cool!" Sutai jumped up and down in excitement, the crystals of her outfit making sweet music as her hair whipped through the air. The page quickly took up Tsui's extended hand (after remembering she had seen it earlier) and shook it up and down with force. "I'd love to be your friend too! Can we be friends, please? I'd like to have more senshi friends. They're a lot of fun and I can learn a lot from you guys!" Maybe I can learn to do all that neat space stuff I've heard them talk about too! But my princess is on Earth... so confusing. Sutai struck her hand into an open palm to show she meant business. "I'll train and get stronger and I'll impress Camelot and Mister Babylon too! I'll be a great knight someday and you'll be a great senshi! A great super duper senshi!"

All of this praise wouldn't do Tsui's already swollen pride any good, but for now, Tsui allowed herself to soak it all in. Given all of her (many) failures that she failed to mention or how the attack can easily work against her if her opponent moved or she missed, Tsui figured that karma would eventually roll around to put her in her place in the future, so she might as well soak it all in now while she had the chance. The sight of Sutai mimicking her hand motions was adorable and she hoped her smile wouldn't be seen as mockery. It was certainly worth the effort to make Sutai happy, Tsui thought, as the way she bounced up and down had put her at ease. She wasn't fully prepared for the ferocity behind her hand shake, but the Senshi of Tigers had somehow managed to hold her balance and prevent her arm from being ripped out of socket. In response to her question, Tsui answered immediately and without any hesitation. "Of course I'll be your friend, Sutai. Tigers may sometimes work alone, but for you? I'll make a huge exception." Despite being armed with only a telescope and her rather bubbly nature, Tsui had seen the determination and sincerity behind her pledge, and she gave a pledge of her own, raising a curled fist. "The two of us, together, we'll wipe the floor with the opposition and make Earth AND all of space safe once again!" It sounded like something a video game protagonist would say, but Tsui still felt confident with the notion. She may have had a 'truce' with the Negaverse, but if any of them dared hurt an innocent or Sutai, then she would rip them to pieces. 'No one hurts my friends and gets away with it.'

Sutai was quite pleased she was just special enough to get the one huge exception. It made her feel extra special, kind of like what she learned from the senshi would actually make a difference. She giggled and bounced from foot to food, eager to get started. The night was still young and the moon still hung high in the sky. Sutai was getting better at telling time by the moon (and, of course, cheating and using her telescope to find clocks far in the distance). Striking a pose next to the senshi of tigers, the page of Polaris agreed wholeheartedly. "They'll never see us coming! With your power and my spying, we'll take out the bad guys before they even knew what hit 'em!" It was the truth too! At least, Sutai thought so. She was unaware of all the terrible things brewing in the world and having more friends to lean on and protect made things a bit easier for the page. "I'm still new at this but... standing by you, I get confidence! Like I could really do it!" Grabbing Tsui by the wrist, Sutai made off in the general direction the senshi of tigers described her patrol grounds to be. "Let's get started! You can show me how to patrol and stuff with all your badassery, Tsui! Let's go, let's go~" The night was young and so were they, and this was an opportune time to really learn on the fly. All that confidence and boisterous talk gave Sutai enough energy for three people! The crystals on her outfit practically vibrated with excitement.

Sutai may have been a little too eager, but just as Sutai was soaking in Tsui's confidence, Tsui was soaking in her energy and enthusiasm, and it did not take long for Tsui to catch up with her and run side by side with her new ally and friend. Tsui had never really been the teacher, only the student, but she was always willing to try something different and new. Not only would she act as Sutai's teacher and ally, but she would be her protector, as the thought of anything happening to such an enthusiastic and pure soul would have hurt Tsui, right down to her core. Whether it was some of Kallichore or even her sister's protective nature rubbing off on her, Tsui was determined to keep an eye on Sutai, but she kept the notion to herself for now, not wanting her to think herself as being in need of protection. Sutai had admitted to being new, but Tsui saw fight in her, an eagerness that she hadn't seen in many veteran senshi, much less any new ones, and Tsui admired the page for that. So, she'd watch her back, just as Sutai would watch her. It was a pleasantly mutual partnership, and Tsui wouldn't have it any other way. "You have the energy to power the entire city and THEN some! Right beside you, then!" So, she ran side by side with Sutai, Page of Polaris, eager to show her the ropes and do whatever she could to help her. This night had definitely taken a pleasant turn, as the thought of what the Negaverse's true intentions were or the DMC were long since gone from her mind. For now, she had to break in Sutai to the territory; together, they could take on twenty youma!
