There had been a debriefing, but it hadn't mattered very much. It was obvious what the goal of these expeditions was: finding the hoard of books left behind by whatever ancient civilization had previously inhabited the planet. Also figuring out how they styled their hair. Hair was the most important part of a Tekimi's hygiene. Especially one with a ferric base. They also mentioned something about responsibility, but Orinbar hadn't paid much mind to that. He was the most responsible Tekimi at the lab - he always made sure his books were kept in perfect condition as he read them. After all, there was always the possibility of selling them.

These were Orinbar's thoughts as he strolled through the hot, sticky jungle. His other thoughts were centered on how terrible the humidity was for his hair. His gel might even become unstuck! That was possibly the most horrifying thought he'd had so far. He'd brought along a can of spray, but it was only water (he'd passed it off as material for cooling, and ignored the knowing glances sent his way), and it wouldn't help much.

There were seven other people (he'd counted, because he needed to know how many people needed quality hair gel, and the answer was all seven of them. Okay, maybe not Slamet. He had a natural crest. It was something Orinbar would never admit to being jealous of.), but Orinbar paid them no mind. He waltzed off in the direction he expected the books would be in, which was between a pair of trees that were curiously conjoined halfway up the trunk. (They were ordinary Earth trees, though, as far as he could tell.)

Enna had to take a few preparatory laps in the gym before the debriefing, because he knew that otherwise there would be no way he could sit through it without causing his neighbors problems by jumping up and down in his seat. Or wiggling his torso. Or any other number of ways.

He barely controlled himself, and considered it a victory of his will that he didn't straight up run out of the lab and in to the JUUUUUNNNNNGGGGGLEEE~! Boy, was this expedition awesome or what?! As soon as he stepped out onto the clearing, he started racing around it's perimeter, waiting for the other participants to get ready.

All this heat and humidity was making him feel agile enough to leap over the trees! Or Orinbar's fascinating hairstyle, for that matter. It would be about the same height, he supposed. Or did he? Enna frowned and nearly tumbled as he realized he had forgotten what he was thinking about. Again.

Darn, this energy was making him even less focused that usual. What was he thinking about? Right, Orinbar. A smile reappeared on Enna's emotional and drastically changing face as he continued to run around like a squirrel who drunk coffee. Man, did he admire Orinbar. He was so smart and stylish, always around books and hair gel, you just knew he didn't have any problems with classes.

Enna always had trouble with lessons. He just couldn't make himself think about one thing! He had to study for hours, just so he could keep up. Maybe he could ask Orinbar to help him study! Orinbar would be sure to know everything! But they were in the middle of an expedition right now, he can't ask him yet. When the expedition was over, maybe? But he wouldn't remember to ask him after such a long time! He could only remember people's names and faces, everything else quickly becomes a blur. Wait, he can write it down! Then he'll find the writing and remember to ask Orinbar! Perfect!

But he didn't have any thing write with or on. Darn!

Wait, what was he going to do? Oh, well, didn't matter now! Enna looked around and saw Orinbar heading for some cool trees that joined to form an arc. "Orinbar, wait for me!" Enna yelled, sprinting after the grand hairstyle and enjoying the warm wind in his face. He wasn't going to let Orinbar have all the fun!
