You have read correctly, your skills such as your Zanjutsu, archery, and more level similar to that of your Reiryoku. You will have to train to learn and train to increase your mastery of these skills. Whether you are a Shinigami, Arrancar, Quincy, or etc. you will follow the same standards of this system in the same way. Please also take note that Kido, Quincy Spells, and Arrancar spirit energy based attacks ( Cero & etc. ) are trained for differently, but are affect by this system. Meaning that this system is full connected and is completely related to the others.
Below you will see the levels of mastery you can train each technique that has such titles next to them up too. In the next post you will see how many post to increase your mastery level. In the post after that there will be a list of techniques of each race that would be affected by this type of training.
___Level of Mastery:
An individual's level in, say Zanjutsu, determines how well they fight in the style or utilize the technique(s). While Reiryoku deals with your character's spiritual energy or power, this system deals with your level of mastery in the styles or techniques you would use in combat. Below you will see what the levels are.
• Levels of Mastery
Master
Oh look, we got a badass in our midst. You are not only good at what you do, you're an elite above the elite. You can handle yourself extremely well with skills of this level, however that doesn't make you a superman. Only the most patient of people will ever get up here with you. Your parents are so proud of you.
Expert
An individual that has almost fully mastered a technique or style and is nearly at the highest peak. A person is capable of using the technique(s) at this level without any problem and with complete easy. Barely showing any signs of flaws or openings. This applies in and out of battle which is why you would call a expert Level.
Advance
An individual that has amazing skills in techniques or styles of this level. A person at this level can handle themselves with excellent. When using techniques or styles they have mastered to this level, they are rarely any flaws or openings left in them. Which is why advance is a perfect sense for such skills.
Adept:
An individual that has wonderful skills in techniques or styles of this level. A person at this level can handle themselves very well. There are only a few flaws or opening here and there. Individuals that have techniques at this level are said to be rather graceful in form.
Novice
An individual that has about average skills in the technique or style of this level. A person at this level is more than capable of using any technique that is of this level to his or her liking, however they are not without some lack of focus, flaws, and openings within them. You've got potential, but you need to train harder.
Practitioner
An individual that has below average but enough mastery of a skill of this level to use it. A person at this level can use the exact basic like a program in a way. Say up, down; left, right; back and forth. However, because of only knowing the basic, an individual would have many openings, flaws, and lack of focus in any of their technique or styles that are of this level. In other words, I'd say you need to get off your a** and train.
No Skills
An individual that has this listed next to a particular skill, means they have not learned the skill and have no training or knowledge of it. Meaning they are incapable of doing it the style or technique this is listed next too. If you are of this level, you must have someone else that are at Practitioners level or higher teach.
