Zirconia had left the Order meeting that night to return home as Zia Connolly walking into a pleasantly empty apartment. She didn't have a clue where her roommate might be, probably due to the fact she had made as much effort as possible to not become attached to him in any sort of sociable way, and assumed maybe he was on a date or something. Good for him. Whatever.

She ended up mulling around, making pancakes, screaming into a throw pillow, changing into comfortable pajamas and sprawling out on the couch with a book, completely oblivious to the battle happening in the very place she'd just left.

She had even relaxed enough to doze, book still in hand, when a letter appeared and startled her awake.

Shocked, disturbed, and then curious, she shredded it open, and then the corners of her mouth took a sharp turn downward. Without sparing too much thought, she crumpled it up and tossed it in her box of papers-to-shred.

Stupid Niflhel.

She rolled over to cram her face into the back of the sofa, and planned to stay there. He probably just wanted to lecture her about her tantrum in the meeting anyway. But it was odd, that he'd send an urgent message about that. And the handwriting looked... frazzled.

With a loud, annoyed groan, she trudged up, taking the note with her just in case Magiore came home, and went in her room. She had a full length mirror for clandestine mirrorwalking, and in moments she was a feline leaping through it and into Azzo's room.

"What?" She asked, obviously annoyed, and then a bit disturbed as she looked around the state of his room. "Feeling a bit of rage towards my kin?"

Zirconia snorted. He's the one who said he needed to speak with her ASAP. Although his comment, who could only be referring to Ares, did catch her attention.

The large cat's ears perked up and stared at him, but he seemed to be waiting for a prompt rather than just offering up some elaboration, and she didn't have time for such social games!

She lept up on his chest, little paws digging all of her weight into him as she shuffled her feet in a weird series of impatient kitty slaps. "And how, pray tell, did you run into Ares of all people in the few hours since I took my eyes off of you?!"

And then after a pause, followed by droll sarcasm. "Oh, and you're bleeding on top of it. Stellar!"

"Oh, you need Ares stopped, well I'll just go do that," Zirconia said with a roll of the eyes and hopping right off the bed to prance around bored-kitty-style, taking care to avoid any sharp fragments.

"You're lucky you aren't dead. What do you want me to do?" She asked with a bit of a sway. Maybe she was overcompensating for the fact she wanted to grab him by the shoulders and shake all of the sense into him, or out of him, or whatever just for punishment for not running very very fast in the opposite direction the second Ares showed up.

She wanted to hurt sense into all of the people. If only.

"You may want to lay low for a while, but that's all I can really think to do," She said with a funny little shrug.

"Oh for the love of crap," Zirconia muttered before shifted to a two legged form, this time the human clad in pajamas to avoid any unsafe energy signatures. And then she put her hands on her hips. "Of course I need her stopped. Probably more than you think," She still didn't know what was up with her zombified DMC senshi, but she found it so very deeply unsettling.

"The problem is I have no idea how otherwise I'd probably be doing that instead of here-- move your stupid head," She seemed to have b***h walk all the way over to sinking next to him on the bed to investigate his neck.

"Geez, she nailed you good," She muttered, though she was really thinking 'wow she went easy on you'. "Maybe you just need to step back and let Polaris do her princess thing."

"Ares is full of s**t," Zirconia said with an eye roll and then poked at his neck rather unsympathetically. "Do you have a first aid kit?" Some Neosporin and a loooot of bandaids were her solution.

"Ares is a liar. And even if she wasn't, it's just silly to give into emotional blackmail like that. You want me to talk to her? I can explain this is less being backed into a corner and more like being dropped in a pit and covered in cement, but hey, all she can do is try to swim out of it."

She knew what a deep pile of s**t it was that Ares knew how to get to Polaris through Niflhel, and that it was very possible the knight could be dead very soon. But there was no point in saying "Ur dead, bro" and so she... said other things.

"At least you have a royal bodyguard," She quipped. And she meant it. If anyone had the chance to defend Niflhel from the scum of Ares then it was definitely another princess. Though she shuddered to compare Ares' combat experience with Polaris'.

She flounced off to root around in the bathroom until she found the kit and grabbed a handful of bandaids and a bottle of iodine. And then promptly doused his neck in it with no hesitation.

"Well. How about that," She said, sounding like she was repressing all the rage that wasn't manifesting in the rough rubbing in of stinging liquid into his wounds. "You guys are just drowning~ in princesses." Actually she didn't know Iris. She thought. The name sounded famailiar, but Zirconia bothered a lot of senshi for information and she couldn't quite remember where she'd heard of that particular one. However, there was a certain princess on her mind.

"Maybe we can string up Chibimoon like a roast and deliver her to Ares as a peace offering," She muttered as she started shredding band aid wrappers with her nails.

"That's like asking if Hitler can hear you through your phone," She exaggerated. "You can't mirrortalk period, and she can't mirrorwalk here... unless you invited her into your home and I missed that part." There was brief moment where she stared at him, daring him to be that dumb. All this time and she still didn't have the best confidence in poor Azzo's intelligence.

She then started sticking band aids on him like a mosaic.

"I don't think it's any more productive to be smashing mirrors than it is to be rip doors off hinges," She snorted.

"Well it's about time." Senshi who can't go to their own moon. What a joke!

"I don't know what's on your moon," Zirconia said in a 'b***h please' sort of tone, still overlapping band aids on his neck until she ran out, and he looked like he'd been attacked by a five year old with stickers.

"If no one's been up there in ages there might not be any more books at all. I'd say there's a better chance of finding something on that Zodiac's outpost in the Surrounding but... when I looked through what I could I couldn't read the language."

She shrugged a little. "I've been looking for ages, kid. No breakthroughs are going to happen tonight."
